How Does A Kabbalist Answer Questions?

Question: When a Kabbalist explains something, does he relive those states? Or does it sometimes happen just theoretically?

Answer: As a rule, a Kabbalist speaks about what he has already attained. Or, from what he has already attained, he can partially answer the question that touches a higher degree than he is at, but by analogy, he can also somewhat explain it.

Question: Does he relive it all in feelings?

Answer: Of course. When he is asked a question that has to do with the spiritual work, he immediately enters that state. He is raising the MAN of another person and he must answer him.

Suppose you ask me a question, I perceive your desire, MAN, demand, and raise it to the source instead of you in order to fill it and bring it down to you.

Question: What if I ask why a person is born with one head and not three?

Answer: It is because this is the consequence of a spiritual Partzuf.

Question: But for this, it is not necessary to feel it in your senses?

Answer: No. This is a complete structure that lives in me. For this, I do not need to rise and make any inner efforts. So, I just answer.

How Does The Creator Develop Us?

Question: Does the Creator develop us through pleasure or suffering?

Answer: He does it through suffering because I suffer when I do not know but wish I could know, attain, sense, and see! The Kli (vessel), which is suffering, is the basis for attainment. However, suffering can be suffering of love and aspiration for the desirable, which makes it sweeter than the actual attainment.

When you aspire to something you desire, the vessel in which you receive the attainment is unlimited. You don’t know what it is and so you exist in a search, in flight. Once you attain something, it turns out to be very limited. This is because you placed a limitation upon it. In the end we reach the complete correction where the Kli is not limited by anything.

Question: Is the word “suffering” the key to both our world and the spiritual?

Answer: Yes, but it depends upon what kind of suffering: necessary for the attainment of pleasure, the fulfillment of reality, or unanswered suffering.

Can We Understand The Language Of The Creator?

Question: What is the language of the Creator?

Answer: The Creator’s language is the language of bestowal, the so-called “holy language,” meaning the middle line of the Partzuf.

Question: Is it possible to understand how the Creator talks to a person?

Answer: In the middle line. When you come to the correct interaction between properties of reception and bestowal, you acquire a language of bestowal, because egoistic properties begin to turn into altruistic ones. Then, through the property of bestowal that you attain, you begin to understand the language of the Creator from within yourself (an egoist), and you begin to talk with Him.

You see everything that happens in the world as it happens based on what reasons, for what consequences.

Question: Are any global changes, for example, warming or crisis, also the language of the Creator?

Answer: Absolutely everything.

Question: How can I understand what He wants to tell me?

Answer: You must be at the level of the Creator. In our world you can hear what they say, that is, catch the waves. However, in the spiritual world, to catch waves means to be at the frequency of these waves.

If you want to understand the actions of the Creator, you must rise to His level.

Question: Couldn’t the Creator speak with us so that we could understand Him?

Answer: And why did we reveal the law of gravity in the 18th century, and not 5,000 years ago? Development is necessary in order to understand the Creator. You can achieve it now. It all depends on the person. If he rises to this level, he will attain it today, he will overtake time. Today, you can live in such states that people would reach, say, in another 200 years.

It is the same as in our world—a child, an adult, a wise person—different people understand differently.

Question: Is the final correction when I understand everything that is happening to me?

Answer: Not only do you understand—it’s all yours, it’s all in you!

What Is The Difference Between Mutual Integration And Connection?

Question: What is the difference between mutual integration and connection?

Answer: Connection is a natural external action for the sake of a goal, whereas mutual integration is an internal action where we integrate with each other via our internal qualities. It is when everyone, in motion toward the others, tries to incorporate and integrate in them.

Question: You say that when we unite, our evil inclination will be revealed. Do you mean mutual integration?

Answer: The evil inclination manifests itself in both cases. We must feel it.

If we push ourselves well to unite, then we feel that there is an inner force in this unity that repels us from it. There is a snake inside, our evil inclination, created by the Creator, and we can reveal it only if we try to unite! Then it will start pushing our ten out of the unity with all ten paws.

Question: So, in any case, we focus not on it, but on connection?

Answer: Yes. We do not need to look for this snake. We always think only about the positive and rush to it.

“What Lies Ahead For Jews In 2019?“ (Times Of Israel)

The Times of Israel published my new article “What Lies Ahead For Jews In 2019?“

2018 was a good year for Jews. This statement might appear to a contradict the facts in light of the rampant anti-Semitism that erupted in basically every corner in the world, but the surface evil can be transformed into an opportunity to fix what is broken, to be seen as an awakening to build a completely new scenario and a more promising future for all. However, this outcome depends solely on us, the Jews.

Back in October, America experienced the deadliest attack on a Jewish community in US history at the Tree of Life Synagogue in quiet Pittsburgh. In other American cities such as NYC, the police reported more hate crimes against Jews than against all other targeted groups combined. Out of 352 hate crimes reported during the past year by the authorities, 183 were considered anti-Semitic incidents, including unprovoked physical attacks and vandalism against Jewish places of worship.

In Europe, an extensive CNN poll revealed what we knew but not everyone wanted to admit, that anti-Semitism in Europe remains inextricable: it is deep-rooted and widespread. The CNN survey queried more than 7,000 people across Austria, France, Germany, Britain, Hungary, Poland, and Sweden. Approximately 1 in 4 said that Jews have too much influence in business and finance, in the media, and in conflicts and wars around the world.

Bigotry against Jews often escalates into threats and actions. This past year, wearing a kippah in Paris or Berlin, among other European cities, no longer felt safe. Some Jews felt compelled to stop wearing them to avoid possible assaults. Jewish communities on the Old Continent expressed fear of physical attack, according to a recent study conducted by the European Union. The poll also highlighted the fact that sentiments of hated toward Jews were at a record high across the region.

The anti-Semitism exposed in 2018 can be likened to a doctor’s appointment where an uncomfortable but completely treatable diagnosis is received. No one is happy to discover a sickness, but without the diagnosis, there can be no treatment for the illness. Therefore, an accurate evaluation is the beginning of a cure, making the treatment possible that opens the door to total health.

Accordingly, let’s use the diagnosis of intractable anti-Semitism to improve the prognosis for 2019 by digging deep into the matter. What is the reason for the world’s animosity toward Jews?

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains anti-Semitism as a symptom of a deeper problem: the lack of unity among the Jewish people. As Rav Yehuda Ashlag wrote in his paper “The Nation”:

“It is clear that the immense effort required of us on the rugged road ahead requires unity as strong and as solid as steel, from all factions of the nation without exception. If we do not come out with united ranks toward the mighty forces standing in our way then we are doomed before we even started.”

The duty of the Jewish people and its reason for existence is to be a light unto nations, to influence the world through wisdom and unity, not by power. When we Jews avoid this task, the world feels we prevent them from reaching wholeness and fulfillment, which manifests as irrational and vicious anti-Semitism to pressure us in order to accomplish our mission.

As Rav Moshe Chaim Lozzatto (Ramchal) wrote in Essay of the Tenets:

“You should know… that Creation as a whole will not be completed until the whole of the chosen nation is arranged in the right order, completed in all its decorations, with the Shechina [Divinity] adhered to it. Consequently, the world will reach the complete state…We must come to a state where the nation is fully complemented in all the required conditions, and the whole of Creation receives its completeness, and then the world will be established permanently in the corrected state.”

Now that we have identified the root cause of anti-Semitism it is up to us to turn 2019 into a year of restoration for the Jewish nation into a whole and amalgamated unit. Such a unifying restoration is capable of creating a magnetic field that could attract the positive force from nature and radiate it to the entire world. Such an act is capable of bringing tranquility and happiness among the Jewish people, which would then spread out to humanity, and return back again to us. It is my hope that we will succeed in undertaking this self-examination and make strides toward realizing our role in the world over the course of 2019.

“The Scornful”—Internal Obstacles In A Person

Rabash, “According to What Is Explained Concerning ‘Love Thy Friend as Thyself’”: “However, after all the meetings, everyone calculates and sees how much they have received from the association for the self-love, what the will to receive has gained by that, since they invested time and effort to benefit society. So what have they gained by it? One could probably succeed more if engaged in self-benefit, at least the part of his own efforts. But, “I entered the association because I thought that through it, I would be able to gain more than I could gain alone. But now I see that I have gained nothing.”

When someone wishes to say that love of friends should be engaged in for the purpose of bestowal, that everyone should work to benefit others, everyone laughs and mocks him. It seems to them like a kind of joke, and this is a seat of seculars. It is said about it, “but sin is a reproach to any people, and every grace that they do, they do for themselves.” Such a society detaches one from holiness and casts him into the world of mockery. This is the prohibition of the seat of the scornful.”

As a person advances, his egoism grows, and he suddenly feels that he is starting to disregard and sneer at the organizational principles of the Kabbalistic group. This emerges from within a person and he needs to work with such disturbances correctly, turning them into help.

Everything is only about internal work.

Question: What if a person feels that his ten suddenly turned into a gathering of the scornful?

Answer: This also requires inner work because everything that appears to him as happening outside actually takes place inside of him. He sees his own internality.

Question: So he must continue to work in the group?

Answer: A person leaves the group only if the entire group thinks that it does not need to follow the path of connection. Other than that, he needs to start with the fact that everything he sees he observes through his own egoism.

Question: And how does he work with this? By elevating the importance of the goal?

Answer: First and foremost, he elevates himself. This is how he checks himself. If he changes himself and sees that the group has changed, it means that these were his personal leads.

Question: And if he sees that he is now the scornful: he is sitting and inside of him laughing at everything? What can he do to rejoin the friends?

Answer: Let him ask for help. He may even explicitly turn to the friends to help him.

Question: Is it possible that the Creator brings people to the group and at some point it turns into an assembly of the scornful?

Answer: Everything is possible. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss it all and mainly engage in Arvut (mutual guarantee). If a group works correctly, then the scornful are only internal disturbances in each member relative to others.

Gradually, a person begins to feel that there is nothing external. He sees everything in front of him, including the Creator, and everything that he can imagine, as existing inside of him.

Why Is The Importance Of Friends Necessary?

Question: When one talks about the importance of the society and friends, is it already a connection of the points in the heart?

Answer: The importance of the society and friends is necessary in order to simply know that it is your soul. One can even imagine it purely egotistically that there is nothing else beside the inclusion in them. Everything else is pure illusion. We do not understand this.

The soul is your inclusion in others. This is where you begin to truly live outside of your present self.

Question: Is this the connection of the points in the heart?

Answer: It is achieved through the connection between us.

Question: Should I come to lessons and gatherings of friends with this preparation?

Answer: Yes, during the whole time that you are not in connection with your friends, you should think about it, that this is actually the way you want to realize yourself among them.
