620 Nested Infinities

Question: What does it mean that everyone uses himself to fulfill the desire of the friend, of others?
Answer: I can connect to the friend if I know his desire. There is no other way I can connect to his desire to receive. I have to know what you want and make an effort to get it.
There is nothing but the desire to receive, and if I want to be connected to you, I have to fill you, and you should do the same for me. So no one can fill oneself on the corporeal level, yet each one can fill the other on a spiritual level.
In order to do so, I have to find out what you want. It turns out that I am the upper Partzufwith regard to you and you are the lower Partzuf. I take your desires from you, I am incorporated in them, and raise them upwards; thus, I become a conductor between you and the Creator. This is how I fill you.
Everyone does that for the other. Imagine billions of Partzufim, each inside the other in different discernments, each one asking for the filling of the other.
Thus the deficiencies and the fillings go from one to the other in a chain of levels until they reach the world of Infinity. Thus, we discover one general vessel where everyone is incorporated in everyone and connected into one desire like it was before the shattering.
But this one desire is complex because it contains the shattering, the distance, the ego, that doesn’t let us connect. This desire is complex because everyone is incorporated in everyone, and therefore its intensity grows by 620 times the simple, initial desire.
Everyone absorbs the deficiency of the other and is rewarded with filling it, thus we intensify ourselves. If I am connected to all the parts of the general soul and eventually have to raise a prayer for all of us, then the light of Infinity passes through me to everyone from the top down.
This is what happens with each of us. We connect and grow until infinity, and eventually we reach an incredible power. We call this growth 620 times, although it isn’t a number, but a qualitative concept.

Learning To Realize Our Exclusivity

From Baal HaSulam’s articles “The Giving of the Torah” and “Arvut (The Mutual Guarantee)” and other sources including Rav Kook’s writings, we clearly see that those who aspire to merge with the Creator without pulling the entire world cannot achieve correction.
We need to realize that hiding from the world, taking care of ourselves, and studying for ourselves are very comfortable for our egoism, but it does not help. Until we realize this, nothing happens.
Don’t complain that the world is not receptive and does not want to listen. Those are just excuses to justify our laziness and discomfort in this material plane. When it comes to the Upper Force that organizes the entire reality and creates all internal and external conditions for us, we need to decide once and for all and confirm each day that by not observing this particular requirement, we do not deal with spiritual advancement.
Because it means that we are not engaged in building the spiritual system. In this case, we would be replaced by others or the Creator will send us terrible disasters and problems and we will still have to return to Him against our will. This should be very important to us.
Some people complain that they have been studying for 10-15 years now, but they still have not reached the attainment yet. They have to better understand the system we are in. If we act correctly inside the system, then we advance towards its true goal: the revelation of the force of bestowal, connection, merging with the Creator, and the ability not to demand anything for ourselves, i.e., spiritual attainment. Our advancement is possible only if we act this way.
If someone behaves differently, then one should not be in the group and be unnecessary ballast in the common boat. It’s better to just walk away, at least then you would know what you are doing, instead of coming every few years with complaints: “Why haven’t I reached the revelation yet?
This is an egoistic question: “Why don’t I have it?” But he doesn’t ask: “Why have I studied for so many years and still continue thinking about myself?” Instead, “Why haven’t I received something that I was waiting for so long?”
We should fulfill our duties. The Creator never compromises. We are talking about the whole of creation and the system requires our actions. In his works, Rabbi Kook writes that the state of the world requires us to act and that there is no room to escape. Correction is to realize our exclusivity.
We feel the desire to attain the Creator not because we are so special; rather, the Creator purposely awakens the desire in us so that we can do our job properly. Our duty is to fulfill our task correctly, not acting in our own way, but rather learning how to perform it.

Entering A Complicated World In A Complicated Way

The Ari didn’t write his books by himself. It was his student Rav Chaim Vital who wrote them. This story is very reminiscent to The Book of Zohar, which disappeared and then was discovered in a very strange way. The same thing happened with the works of the Ari.
They were written, but there was no one who could edit them. Only Rav Chaim Vital’s grandchildren managed to edit his writings. They took them out of his grave where they had been hidden in a crate and buried. It’s actually an adventure story, a treasure hunt.
Question: Why are there so many events that we don’t understand and such confusion when it comes to the writings of great Kabbalists, with The Book of Zohar, with the writings of the Ari?
Answer: It was specifically arranged that way to bring them to an adapted world. The world is confused and the writings of Kabbalists are also confused. If we could see the forces that operate in this world and manage it by our egoistic reactions, we would understand that bringing the spiritual knowledge into our world is only possible in this strange and incomprehensible manner.
The writings of the Ari were buried in the grave of Rav Chaim Vital. Then they were taken out and kept in a crate in some house in Tzfat. It was only several decades later that they were taken out of the crate. If they couldn’t be revealed by the father, then they were revealed by the son or the grandson or by one of the pupils.
The writings must be adapted so that they would be suitable for the world: through a certain soul, through a certain event, by a certain concealment in a certain period. It seems strange, but if we could see the system, we would understand that the Upper Lightthat comes closer to the vessels arranges everything this way in order to gradually bring this knowledge into the world.
It’s impossible to enter our confused world, this mess, the terrible egoistic state in this world, the total lack of spirituality, in any other way but by revealing and concealing these writings and then revealing them again ages, maybe even two thousand years later. It is a matter of adaptation. The main law here is the adaptation between the Light and the vessels.

A Broken Heart

The Book of Zohar, “VaYechi (And Jacob Lived), Item 9: …To revive the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the depressed. “The heart of the depressed is Jacob” since below the degree, from the Achoraim (posterior), the prophecies and the blessings came down upon him in Egypt, and Egypt is considered Achoraim. This is why his heart is depressed.
Question: What is a broken heart in the spiritual work?
Answer: A broken heart is a desire with which I cannot do anything, but it stands before me like a barrier, an obstacle, that I cannot go through. If I don’t remove it, I will not reach anything and then “I would rather die than live.” It is a good state because then I need theCreator’s mercy.

What Unique Quality Are We Looking For?

When we come to read The Zohar we must first understand why we are reading this Book. If it is for a miraculous solution (Segula), what miracle are we looking for? A “wonderful tool” is above my mind and helps me, but I don’t exactly know how. It helps me where I cannot help myself in any way. When a person despairs of his own powers and sees that nothing can help him attain what is important in life, he arrives at a true request, to an outcry. Then The Zohar can help him.
So we should clarify over and over again what the main goal is that we want to attain by reading The Zohar. Since The Zohar is only intended for reaching that one thing and not anything else. If we clarify what we want, meaning that The Book of Zohar will change us while reading it, then it will be the true study of the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Receiving In Order To Bestow

What is the intention in order to bestow? If I work with the desire of the other in order to fulfill it instead of fulfilling myself, this is called an intention in order to bestow to another. Working with the desire of the other is called yearning to fulfill him. And because this is not my desire, this is considered to be work with an intention. I consider this desire even higher and more precious than my desire, like in relation to my infant.
It is not important that the desire of the other is materialistic, but since he was originally a stranger to me, and my ego and hatred separated between us, therefore to leap above myego and to fulfill the desire of the other is called working with an intention in order to bestow. I receive this fulfillment for him from above and convey it to him, meaning receiving in order to bestow.
Question: But all the time, when I finally check myself, I discover that I worked in order to benefit myself somehow!
Answer: So you are still in this world and not in the spiritual world. This is about the desire of the other that I truly absorb, putting it above my ego that rejects him. I ask theUpper Light to make your desire like my desire, and then I work on your desire as if it were my desire.
This means that I receive an opportunity from above to feel your desire “as my own.” But it isn’t mine, rather it is  “like mine,” meaning above my ego. We don’t understand this important distinction.
It follows that I work on your desire and fulfill it because I want to connect with you, and in this connection to give contentment to the Creator. This is because we give Him contentment through all of the connections of the parts of the shattered vessel.

The Source Of Passover

We are in the seven special days of the holiday of Passover.Throughout these days we must maintain a correct, uninterrupted intention, because this is a special time. We don’t celebrate religious rituals or customs. We are very distant from actions people carry out simply because they were taught to do so as children, or because they are driven by egoistic goals to receive a reward, either in this world or the next.
First and foremost, those who study Kabbalah want to reveal the Upper World and the spiritual actions, and only after they see their consequences (branches), they are prepared to also respect and observe them with the same intention as the spiritual actions above.
Abraham and his students were the first to attain the connection between the roots and the branches. Before then, Abraham was an idol-maker and a priest in ancient Babylon. But having revealed the spiritual world and its consequence in the corporeal, having discovered the forces that descend from the spiritual world into our corporeal world and having set it in motion, he created the language of branches. This language is a description of the Upper World, the roots, using words of this world, the branches.
That was when he revealed the whole reality, both the corporeal and the spiritual, as one whole. That is why both the spiritual and the corporeal actions merged within him into a whole, and that is how he taught his students.
Of this it is written that the forefathers (the first Kabbalists) observed the entire Toraheven before receiving it at Mount Sinai. Indeed, they have revealed the Torah by attaining the spiritual world with its spiritual actions. Based on that, they carried out the same actions in our world, perceiving all of reality as one whole.

Course Of Spiritual Progress

Question: My physical group, which is closest to me, is a four hour journey away by train. I meet with it once a month. I don’t see and don’t know the trend and direction of advancement of this group.
But the trend and the direction of my virtual group, which meets daily and lives in my heart, I understand. And I try to hold onto it with both hands in order not to deviate and move to the side. Is this enough for spiritual progress, or in spite of all this, is it necessary to change something?
Answer: If you are in contact with your virtual group all the time and this is a good, strong group that tries to be together and to participate in all of our events, and first and foremost in the lessons, even if it is not at the actual time, because we live in different time zones, then this is enough. Moreover, you travel once a month to visit the physical group.
More than this, it provides you with a good indication between the physical and virtual inner perception. And this is good.
To the degree possible, come to all of the various conventions, because you see how participating in it, you can take off in one week.

War With Myself

Question: I was constantly at war with the Creator and I always argued that only I exist. And He, the good and benevolent, let me do this, and after that He took everything from me and brought me to a Bnei Baruch group.
The fact that there is a group and a teacher is proof that “There is none else besides Him.” The Creator always teaches me to nullify myself in regard to the group and all that I have left is fear and awe that because of this nullification I could miss the action called “I will hasten it” (Achishena).
Answer: But it is specifically the approach towards the Creator through the group that is called hastening (Achishena).
Question: So why do I feel this fear?
Answer: Because you are not in a covenant, with the group or with the Creator. You don’t have any faith to fall into the hands of the group, the teacher, and all the more so, the Creator. How can you nullify yourself if you don’t have an inclination like this?
Question: Meaning that I feel an indication that I am not there yet?
Answer: Indications gradually change, become more subtle, precise, and narrow.
Time is running out, and you need to feel for yourself how you are advancing forward. Are you placing yourself in the right way regarding the group or do you have many philosophical thoughts that come out of your egoistic mind? You cannot trust this intellect and rely upon it; this is impossible.
You need to rise above everything that is in you today. Spirituality is on the next level and you want to rise to it by using your present emotions and intellect. It will not happen.

Insurance For The Future

Question: How can I raise my awareness in order to relate to theCreator at every moment, and not just ten out of a thousand?
Answer: Everything depends upon external support from the Creator, from the group, from the teacher, or from all of them together.
If I am in a prosperous state now, how can I make sure that I will be fine again tomorrow? You have a refrigerator at home for this, and you know that there are groceries there that you can get any time you are hungry.
Do you have the same insurance for the future in spiritual work? Have you prepared it? Your refrigerator is the group. You don’t have any place for saving the Light, but you can accumulate it within the group.
This works like a wire and a coil through which a current flows. If you want to be active all the time, in this dynamic, then you need to build such relationships with the group. Invest in the group when you can, and then when you can’t, you will get energy back from it.

Trainers Of The Ego

Question: Does it follow that humility is not a single action; rather, a person must humble himself all the time? If so, when will a sufficient degree of such actions be gathered and a person will begin to live in two dimensions?
Answer: After a number of acts of humility like these, this breakthrough happens. But nobody knows exactly after how many actions. If a person is weak, they give him small actions to carry out, but their number will be greater. And a strong person can do this more rapidly, like a hammer that hews stone. But nevertheless, this has never been done with one blow.
Rabash described this as shots at the “heart of stone,” where every bullet leaves more and more new and larger grooves in the stone until an opening is created. How many shots this takes depends upon the intensity of the work of the person, on the power of the blows for which he is ready.
If the group supports a person, then he is ready to endure more and not run away immediately. In this case he can contend and even “give his teeth to the ego” in response to what is happening, this is a very unique intensification already. For you strike your ego “in your teeth” and not someone who stands in front of you, but someone inside of you. A person learns this gradually, if not from the advice of his teacher, then from his own suffering.

A Shared Mission

Question: Why do we need to go out to people? Don’t they need to come to us themselves?
Answer: How will they know about it if we are not involved withdissemination? If I hadn’t opened an Internet site in 1996 that talked about the wisdom of Kabbalah, who would have known about it?
And later, when the group was already created, we organized a trip to the United States and gave lectures in 11 major cities. From this all of our groups that still exist today in America began.
If we don’t go out to the general public, how will people know about the science of Kabbalah and that it is open for learning? If you don’t disseminate your product well, then who will know about it besides yourself? Dissemination is the most essential thing.
If there is no dissemination, then it’s as if blood doesn’t go out from the heart to the rest of the organs. It’s precisely through this that you go out from the source all the time, from the center, and disseminate to outer circles; there is a reaction that comes back. And if you simply sit and wait, then nothing will ever happen.
All trades are based upon this: If you don’t advertise your product, nobody will buy it. 50 to 70% of the price of a product is spent on advertising. Today, there is no problem in producing any product; this costs pennies today. But the main thing is to sell it successfully: to persuade that this product is worth paying money for. And 70% of what is paid for was wasted only on advertising.
If I simply stayed at home, nobody would know about me. At first I thought of doing this; I thought that I would sit and write books. But there was no choice, the time was compelling. It’s not my manner to travel everywhere and perform, but what can you do? We see from the Torah that both Abraham and Moses didn’t want to accept their mission at first. Each one of them said directly that he didn’t want this and rejected the mission with all his strength, but without a choice, they were compelled to accept it.
That is how we must take the example from them. Never has anyone wanted a mission like this because you are not going to publicize something useful and good for the egoand you only get humiliation, beatings, and trouble from it. It’s enough just to look at the description of the life of Moses, and this was even though he was the leader of the people. It’s possible to say the same thing about King David, all of his life he was involved in wars.
There is no choice. We must carry out our mission, but today all of us can go up on the royal road together.

Spiritual Аctions In Daily Life

Question: I have been studying for over five years and I feel like my entire life is in the group. In the past five months, however, it has been progressively harder for me to unite with the friends. Even in my corporeal life I have lost all desire for anything; there is nothing that I can do. If I am not physically with the friends, I cannot move even for my own sake in my everyday life.
Answer: This is because you do not feel that your entire daily life outside the group also belongs to your spiritual path.
Suppose you work in some factory or corporation. You need to understand that working in this business is your spiritual work. If you keep the necessity of spiritual advancement in mind while working at this office or factory, then through any of your movements and actions, you pass along your personal spiritual energy. This is how you should act in this world in order for it to become corrected.
Our entire work in this world is intended so that we would influence each other with our spiritual forces. Thus, if, while working in the office or alongside one hundred complete strangers who are far from spirituality, but you come there with spiritual filling, then you, through your work, like an undercover agent, channel spiritual content that they feel this, and through them, the entire world.
This is our work at the level of the spiritual still. In such manner we are connected to each other and we imbue the entire world with spirituality. This is necessary for us! Therefore, our world is created so  that we have to work in it, and this is why Kabbalists obligate every one of us to work at an external job.
Try to work with this intention. You will see how much you will succeed at work, how your coworkers will start relating to you differently, and what advancements you will reach spiritually.
You must combine your spiritual actions and your job correctly. It is not easy, but at the same time, this is actually your correction. This is the most important thing an individual can do in our world rather than having your head in the clouds when listening to The Book of Zohar. That is not a correction.
We are intentionally created in such a way that we spend 10-12 hours a day being occupied with our home and work. Today, many people think like this: ”Marriage, kids – who needs that? I will keep living with my mom, she will feed me and clothe me, while I contemplate philosophical matters.” This is what modern men want.
You must get married, have children, work, study, and see in all of that the realization of your spiritual potential, so that one activity would not be different from the other, so that in the group, at work, at the lesson, at a workshop, with your spouse and children, in all of those things, you will be internally connected to the Upper energy through the group and pass it through yourself downward to everyone else: your family, workplace, and to the entire world, wherever you may be.

Who Can Hear The Torah?

The Torah, “Exodus” (Ki Tissa), 34:4-34:7: So Moses carved two tablets of stone, like the first, and early in the morning he went up on Mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him, taking the two stone tablets with him. The Lord came down in the cloud; He stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. The Lord passed before him and proclaimed: “The Lord! the Lord! a God compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in kindness and faithfulness, extending kindness to the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin; yet He does not remit all punishment, but visits the iniquity of parents upon children and children’s children, upon the third and fourth generations.”
“To the third and fourth generations” refers to the third and fourth levels when the Light already stems from a spiritual state and all the Reshimot (spiritual genes) stop. On the whole this is what Moses attains and expresses in his attainment. He clearly sees two lines: The right and the left, a blessing and a curse, that descend from the Creator and manage the ego pulling if forward in perfect accordance between them, forcing it to want to change.
Question: Do all the people hear what the Creator proclaims?
Answer: No. It is only the attribute of Moses; others cannot hear anything! The point isn’t where they are since the mountain only symbolizes distance. So under the hatred, which are the remaining attributes of a person, they don’t perceive the attribute of bestowal and it doesn’t exist for them.
Thanks to the first restriction that they have put themselves under, they can only watch what is happening from a distance. A mountain covered in smoke means that the ego itself is concealed from the people. They don’t even understand the ego that is before them and that they have to overcome. They don’t feel how Mt. Sinai becomes the Sinai desert they have to go through.
The mountain becomes a desert because the people cannot ascend to the level of Moses, and their egoistic desires seem to gradually open up before them now as they advance. To advance means that they correct every desire they have and eventually rise to Mt. Sinai, but this happens during forty years of wandering.
It turns out that only a person who is close to the attributes of Moses can hear the Torah that Moses wrote. In fact the Torah is totally concealed from everyone, so all the attempts and the efforts are only exercises that help them get closer to Moses, to decipher all the phases of his ascent and to follow him.
Then we will not just read, hear, and feel everything that is said in the Torah, but will actually fulfill it, which means that we will attain the state of love and bestowal. The Torah is not a secret, but a method that can be revealed to us only to the extent that we accept it in advance. Its fulfillment in our world is very simple if we begin to implement it accurately, without any abstruse projects.

A Filter Of Zero Ego

Question: If several people decide to do something, but each one is in his own ego, in his own perception of reality, and cannot concede to others, will the decision be right?
Answer: First we have to reach general equality. It is impossible to advance without that.
Each one has to do his best to annul himself and his own opinion in order to do what the book says, and what the author of the book and the teacher say. Otherwise a person doesn’t learn.
Only a person who feels that he is less than the teacher can learn: from me, from Rabash, from Baal HaSulam and all the great Kabbalists who stand behind us and who teach us. If a person doesn’t humble himself before everyone else, by seeing himself last on this chain and that he is not even part of this system.
If we could strain all the students here through a special filter, we could see who does and does not pass this test: his humbling himself to others, to the group, to the teacher, to the opinions of the authors of the books. So how many people would be left? As it says: “I have arrived and there is no one.” There are many bodies, but internally there isn’t even a Minyan (ten people). So we must first fulfill this condition.
Everyone thinks that he is the one who knows how to do things right, but he should not “think,” our role is not to think but to fulfill. After a person reaches certain spiritual discernments, he realizes that it requires annulling himself towards the group and he begins to incorporate in it, to see everything that happens through it from the perspective of the group’s benefit and not of his own, for the goal that Kabbalists write about. He receives this as if from the outside, as if he is a third party who isn’t related to it; that it, he makes a total zero of himself.
The main problem which stops us from reaching spirituality, from feeling it, and from starting to live in it is that we see everything through our ego, through the intention of in order to receive. We have to annul it a little bit, to set it aside, and then we get closer to the real perception and will be able to see everything the way it actually is. So we should constantly try to lower ourselves until absolute zero.
When a person reaches this level, he begins to perceive the goal independent of his ego, objectively, he should take it and run. No matter if he is capable of that or not, or whether he acts within reason or above reason, he will see the truth.

The Ego Blocks The Brain

Question: What is the right way to approach the public today in our generation, is it through the mind or through the heart?
Answer: It should be both ways but more through the heart.
Most people are underdeveloped, which means that their ego blocks their mind. We are all like that. The ego blocks a person’s brain, his mind, and he cannot see more than his ego. It turns out that he is wretched and limited. He may have great, wonderful abilities, but the ego stops him and doesn’t let them be expressed.
If for example you want control, the ego blocks everything else. Although you could prosper, the strong desire for control obliges you to engage only in that. This is an example of how limited we are in our ability to work with our brain. But by working with the heart, we can open the way to the brain. This means that we have to turn to the heart and to work on it, but it is possible only by mutual incorporation with the friends and through them with the public.
People have to penetrate our heart this way, so that we will not be able to abandon our concern for them. Then it means that we have incorporated them in us like the upper level with regard to the lower level.

Every Candle Strengthens The Light of The Flame

Degel Machane Efraim, “BeShalach” (written more than two centuries ago by Rabbi Moshe Haim Efraim from Sudilkov, by the student and grandson of Baal Shem Tov)
God’s servant should be incorporated in all the created beings, and so he has to connect to all the souls and to be incorporated in them and they should be incorporated in him. So you should leave yourself only what is needed for the connection of the Shechina (Divinity).
In order to do so, there should be a multitude of people who are connected, as it is written: “Connection of the righteous is good for them and good for the world.” Since the Light of the Shechina (Divinity) will be revealed more if there is a multitude of people who serve the Creator.
According to the sages, “the righteous are the same before the Shechina (Divinity), like a candle before a flame,” so according to the multitude of candles, the Light of the flame will grow since it is the Shechina (Divinity). Therefore one should be incorporated in all the people and in all the created beings, and they should all ascend to their root in order to correct the Shechina (Divinity).
The correction is actually in having more and more people who have learned just a little and who join the same great connection, called the Holy Divinity, in which the Creator can reveal Himself to the created beings. Therefore it is said: “The King’s glory is in the multitude,” and a force that is strong in quantity should appear, just like in previous generations a force that was strong in quality appeared and was operated by great Kabbalists.
They were on a very high spiritual level, but they were few as they had to draw and to convey the Light that reforms from Above down to our generation. We receive it through them, but the manner of correction in our times is totally different. If we want to reach at least the beginning of correction, we have to connect all the candles, and thus reach the Light that can illuminate in our vessels.

I Need The Whole World

Question: Does the hastening of the end of correction (Gmar Tikkun)depend upon our connection or that of the whole world?
Answer: Everything only depends on the connection between us; this is enough. And from this connection we feel the necessity for all the rest of the steps.
The main thing is the connection between us, and if we reach some stage, then suddenly we will discover that we need to connect yet another part otherwise we cannot go forward. We require additional forces, densities, and troubles in order to move forward.
So you clarify that you need more and more until you understand that you need the whole world, that it’s entirely mine. As it is said: “The whole world is meant for my use”; that is, to transmit to me all of their problems, troubles, and desires so that I will correct them. “And I am meant for the use of the one who possesses me” because I take all of their desires and rise up to the Creator. It is only this that He needs.

Request And Demand

Question: You always say, “We have to ask, we should demand, and sometimes to do both ask and demand.” At what points should we ask and what should we demand?
Answer: This must come from the heart!
In general, the difference between a request and a demand is on two levels. When we work with the vessels of bestowal, meaning bestowal for the sake of bestowal, then we have a request, and when we work with the vessels of reception, meaning reception for the sake of bestowal, then we form a demand.
In other words, if we work with small egoistic desires, which only require clarification that don’t yet transform the ego into bestowal but only want to inhibit it, to transform it toHassadim, this is only a request; and when we want to transform the ego into bestowal to work with Aviut ¾ (thickness), then we have a demand. This means that our request becomes a sharp and resolute demand.
In this way, the request or the demand depends upon the same Aviut (the thickness of the ego) with which you are working. If this ego is heavier, then you begin to demand that the Creator will correct it to the degree of its heaviness. However, if it is light and your desire is graded 0-2, then you’re just asking.
Question: However, people have different characteristics. How does one perceive?
Answer: This is not important. It doesn’t provide you with anything. Do you think that it is possible to think whether you are requesting or demanding, and how much and how? This is work in the heart!
You cannot monitor yourself with your intellect because the Creator is in the heart. First, the heart reacts with its degree of correction or destruction. Only after you feel your heart does awareness come to you.
So, it is pointless to carry out some kind of whim where you seemingly turn yourself this way or that. What? Are you going to play with the Creator?
Question: However, when a child asks me for something, my heart is softened and I give to him, and when he begins to demand, I refuse him.
Answer: This is not about that but about yearning for bestowal and love! If it is derived from small egoistic desires, then this is a request because I don’t need anything else, and if this is derived from heavy egoistic desires, then this request becomes a demand.

A Pressure Gauge That Helps Me To Rise

Question: In our group, we read the article “There is None Else Besides Him” every day, but it never is felt as deeply as I have felt it here. It is like cooking some dish without spices. Here, I felt this spice, this taste. What kind of spice can you give us so that we will feel it all the time, everywhere?
Answer: You will not believe me, but I always am watching to relate to a group not like my little pupils but like those who are higher than me. Outside, they don’t see this because I can yell at them too, but, internally, I always am careful with myself.
This is my barometer (pressure gauge), how much I feel them higher than me; I can rise only this way and it makes no difference how they behave. The Creator chose, brought, and gathered them, and it is enough for me to think that there is no one before me higher than they are.
There are Kabbalists who are no longer with us in this world. But I almost don’t feel anything besides my friends. If I could, I would use the opportunity to feel them and to be in contact with them, bringing my excitement, my relationship with them about the greatness of the Creator so that, together with them, I will reach discovery of the Creator, because all of this is found within them.
There is nothing else besides this holding on, this group we were given. Only through dissolving into it, magnifying it, can I approach the Creator who is found within it. We don’t need anything else besides a constant concern to relate to a group like this.

Living Space

We must imagine the spiritual world as an empty vacuum. On one side of this empty vacuum is the person, and on its other side is the Creator, and within this emptiness that separates us, we begin to build all kinds of connections, sections, and forms that connect us with the Creator.
We fill this space with our thoughts, desires, and intentions regarding the Creator with all kinds of observations about the force of desire: Shoresh (0), Aleph (1), Bet (2), Gimel (3), Dalet (4). This means that we construct different sections within this space, forms closer to the Creator, like an internal spiral, cubes, pyramids, and all kinds of geometric forms.
All of these forms are constructed from thought, our intention to reach the Creator in all kinds of ways since in every phenomenon four phases are found, all of the restrictions. In the meantime, we are not prepared to rise above them, so they create the form ofHaVaYaH.
However, after we reach the completion of correction, all of these separate forms disappear in that they are connected into an integral form that fills this space with an infinite connection with the Creator, which is no longer in various separate forms but merged together into one whole.
