New Life #753 – Expectations And Disappointments

New Life #753 – Expectations And Disappointments
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Tal Mandelbaum ben Moshe

Summary
According to our nature we anticipate pleasure all the time. If a child doesn’t see something pleasurable ahead of him, he will not grow. The expectation mechanism exists in us to bring us to resolve the big question, why are we alive?
Since we don’t want to be disappointed, we develop defense mechanisms and learn not to expect anything so that we won’t be disappointed. Disappointment is the place that is not filled with what we expected to be filled and its purpose is to direct us toward a goal correctly.
In contrast to people, animals have no expectations for the future; they adhere to the moment. But the more a person develops, the more distant is his vision of the future. If a person has a higher purpose, he relates to all expectations and disappointments as corrections of direction on his way there.
In systems of relationships in which we truly love others, this in itself is fulfilling for us. The realization of love is giving, and to the degree that a person gives, he is fulfilled. So it doesn’t depend on the other side, but upon his relationship to the other side.
Our world is entirely egoistic; we draw pleasure to ourselves and therefore encounter limitations and become tired. The whole idea is to develop love from us to others. So if someone gets tired of love, this indicates it is not complete love. Love beyond the ego, which is not for those who are close to us but for those who are strangers, is not tiring. Instead it opens a person to the upper world. Then one is nourished by the general force of nature, which is entirely love and has limitless energy.

Why Are The Germans Urged To Stockpile Food?

laitman_433_01In the News (Time): “The mood in Germany has been unsettled recently following a number of horrific attacks
“Germany is planning to urge its citizens to stockpile food, water and other supplies in the event of a catastrophe or armed attack.
“According to a report by German broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW), citing the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung newspaper, the move would be the first of its kind since the end of the Cold War.
“The proposal is reportedly contained in a government civil-defense-strategy document, which says that people should stock 10 days worth of food and a sufficient supply of water, energy, money and medicine that would allow them to stay put long enough for the government to respond.
“The mood in Germany has been unsettled recently following a number of horrific incidents. In the latest violence, on July 24, a Syrian suicide bomber injured 15 people at a music festival in the central German town of Ansbach. The same day, a Syrian refugee killed a woman and injured two others with a machete in Reutlingen. Just days previous, an ISIS-inspired attacker was shot dead after stabbing several people on a train in the south of the country.
“The huge influx of refugees — Germany accepted more than a million last year — has sparked fears among many Germans that terrorists have entered the country under the guise of seeking asylum.
Answer: There is no way we can protect ourselves from the future. The only thing we can do is change it by changing our relations from egoistic to altruistic relations. There should be mandatory training plans for such special circumstances for everyone. These special circumstances are already here!

Is It Necessary To Change Character Traits?

laitman_565_02Question: Are the character traits of a person innate or is it possible to develop them somehow? Suppose that I don’t like particular characteristics in me. Can I change them?
Answer: It is not at all necessary to break and destroy yourself! It is up to you to learn to use all of your characteristics correctly, especially the most horrible ones that you are even ashamed to admit to yourself.
Question: How is it possible to use the most terrible characteristics without harming someone?
Answer: The most terrible characteristics are those through which you want to harm others and yet you get unusual pleasure from them. If you have some kind of aversion to a particular person, he is against you or he seems to be intolerable to you, then you want to harm him, to make him sorry through your actions.
Here the wisdom of Kabbalah says, “This is not right. You need to do this completely differently. If an enemy rises up against you, try to correct those characteristics within you that make you his enemy. Then you will stop provoking him against you.”
First and foremost you must think about how to correct yourself. Someone else who reveals a negative attitude toward you is actually giving you an example of your own faults. So it is up to you to think that maybe they are revealing your negative traits to you from above.

The Only Task Of The Creator

laitman_562_01Comment: For every person who engages in Kabbalah for a long time, at some point comes a period when he demands internal egoistic fulfillment: “Give me at least something!” as in the “golden calf” transgression.
Answer: A person must have some goals and some achievements. However, suddenly he feels himself suspended in the air, feels some kind of tiredness. This is natural. Kabbalah writes about it. It is necessary to overcome such states.
Those who can’t endure them and walk away are just weak. It is necessary to be stubborn, to cling with your teeth and hold on. It means that you close your eyes and are ready to be below the level of life and death. Just hide, so that this devastation, anything at all, will pass over you.
You have to get used to it, to agree in advance with everything that will happen: to be “rinsed” in a view of the entire world, to be given such desires, doubts, and states by the Creator that such things were possible wouldn’t even come to the mind of a common person. And you must take it all in stride.
Moreover, a person’s mind is taken away; he is given strange thoughts, strange feelings and turns into a puppet that performs some actions. Later his mind is returned to him and he looks at what he has done. He is played upon this way in order to knock the egoism out of him. This is the main, and probably the only task of the Creator: to put us in such conditions that we would voluntarily give up our egoism and would ask the Creator ourselves: “Take this monster away from us!”
However, if a person comes to classes and everything in his life is quiet and well: home, family, work, friends, meals, congresses, and teaching, so what is there to change? Then nothing will change. Nothing! He will only demand more and more. His egoism will point to what else he wants to receive, and why not?
Therefore the real spiritual work begins when a person is humiliated in such a way that he wants to get rid of egoism. However, it is not about getting rid of egoism, since it means he just wants to suffer less. The fact is that he must stay with his egoism and say, “I am ready for anything, I just want to hold onto the Creator. Let Him do whatever He wants with me, as long as I have a point of connection with Him.”
One point, no more! To ask for more means you already anticipate a reward. “I don’t want any reward, just to have a point of connection with You, and I don’t need anything more. Do whatever you want with everything else, with me, my body, my mind, and with anything else.”
Comment: But when a person studies, teaches, works with the friends, and participates in the meals, he one way or another still moves along the right line to stronger connection with the Creator…
Answer: He moves until the time to move to the next degree comes. But it depends on how much effort he has invested.

New Life #752 – Master Of My Own Fate

New Life #752 – Master Of My Own Fate
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Tal Mandelbaum ben Moshe
Summary
Everything comes to an end. The question is, can we reach a life that is full of only good and sweet events? They say that the wise can foresee the future, but others say that it is better not to see it, but simply to live the moment. There are different approaches: one is to ignore the situation, which means to lie to ourselves; the second is to mitigate the situation; the third is blind faith.
According to the wisdom of Kabbalah none of this is true. We can learn to change ourfate! Scientists have discovered that there is constancy in everything in the world, and our lives are also managed by the upper constancy. We can penetrate the upper operating system of reality and thus control our lives. There are two systems of scrutinizing reality that constantly operate on us: bitter and sweet; truth and lie.
These systems have to bring us to a general scrutiny, to the question of what is the point in our life, what are we living for? The upper operating system operates according to a precise program that aims at the truth, which is the wellbeing of the whole. The more I begin to think about the wellbeing of others, the more I feel the system and understand what is going on.

A Price For Work Performed

Laitman_001_02Question: According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, how is it possible to determine correctly a price for work performed?
Answer: In worldly life I don’t know, the wisdom of Kabbalah speaks only about spiritual work. From this point of view, it is very simple to determine the price for work performed, because for spiritual work a person doesn’t demand anything for himself, not even spiritual elevation; rather, he asks for only one thing, to give contentment to the Creator.

History Of Humanity – A Look Inside, Part 3

laitman_746_01Desires can’t be killed! They can’t be destroyed; they can only be shut down and not used. The entire world has its purpose and therefore it is impermissible to throw anything away or even to exclude it from use.
This is determined by the attitude to the seven desires (seven nations) that are revealed during the development period called entering the land of Israel. “Land –Eretz” means desire (Ratzon), and “Israel” means straight to the Creator(Yashar-El). If we correct our attitude to the seven big egoistic desires that were revealed, we will neutralize them as if they don’t exist. Then we will become ready to settle in the land of Israel, which means to enter the desire that is directed straight to the Creator (Israel), meaning with an intention to bestow.
All the desires that exist from the times of ancient Babylon went through a shattering, terrible crises, and subsequent development. Therefore it is said about Abraham’s group that it allegedly goes to the land of Canaan, then to Egypt, to the desert, and then enters the land of Israel.
However, in reality these are names of the periods, when deeper, more cruel and egoistic desire was revealed inside the people of Israel, inside Abraham’s group. And we cover it more and more every time, not willing to use it in a criminal and egoistic way for our own sake.
We stay in the quality of bestowal all the time, creating a cover for all the desires that are revealed in us: for Pharaoh (the biggest egoistic desire), and for all the nations that stand in our way. From that moment on we can build such a connection from the corrected desires that we would be with each other not just in mercy, but actually in the intention to bestow.
It means this is not enough to not covet another’s property, when yours is yours and mine is mine, or to appeal to everyone to be friends. We really have to reach the connection of our hearts. Mercy isn’t a connection of the hearts yet, which implies connection of the desires. Therefore, I begin to scrutinize which of my desires can connect with the desires of others.
This is the first and second restriction, when all desires that are incapable of connecting qualities of reception and bestowal (Malchut with Bina) are separated. We refuse to use all this and begin to work only with the desires to bestow and with these desires to receive that annul themselves before them (AHAP de-Aliyah). From these desires we build the First Temple, our first connection in desires.
However this is only part of the correction, since we are under the second restriction and don’t use our real desire to enjoy. By building the First Temple we reach the lightMochin de-Haya with the illumination of Hochma. When we finish construction of the Temple, the upper force is revealed inside our connection. We ourselves lead it to revelation by providing a suitable vessel.
The actual quality of bestowal doesn’t have a form; we define the form with our desires that connect with each other. This is called revelation of the Creator to the creatures. The upper force is revealed inside our desires that are correctly connected to each other. This actually is the Temple.
As soon as the Temple is revealed, all the desires that so far are unable to be included into this connection begin to wake up and present new demands to us. And since their demands are valid, because they emanate from the ultimate goal of creation, its final implementation, we can’t resist them. We begin to be impressed by these desires that are revealed above the height of the Temple.
After all, these desires assure us that it is possible to build the much higher Temple, meaning to strengthen the connection between us! However, we don’t have a cover for such height and so we begin to fall.
In the interpretation of this world it means that wars erupt around the First Temple, characters that are known to all of us appear: K’tzinim (lords and nobles), Pharisees and Sadducees (Prushim and Tzdokim). The war begins inside this big group called the people of Israel.
Eventually, the strife goes so far that the connection between them breaks. And since the internal connection is destroyed, Nebuchadnezzar appears in the external form, who shatters the stony Temple located in Jerusalem. Obviously, this is just a result of the spiritual shattering.
But even before Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the Temple, the people of Israel have already fallen into their egoistic desires. And as a result, Nebuchadnezzar expels them from the land of Israel and moves them to Babylon, because they already don’t belong to this land and are not considered Israel (meaning aspiring directly to the Creator).
It is said about Babylon that 127 nations lived in it, and all of them were scattered around it. Internal separation reigned between them, and exactly in accordance with the spiritual root, with the internal state, they were scattered physically.
If you are interested why a person is in Kiryat-Gat or Beer-Sheva, in Haifa or Petach-Tikvah, there is a reason for it as well, and a purely spiritual one. After all, we only move because there is a spiritual reason that moves us.

How Does The Upper Light Work?

Laitman_507_05Question: How does the Upper Light work on a person?
Answer: The Upper Light, which is the characteristic of love, created us, the egoistic desire. When it acts on us, it gradually changes this form from an egoistic desire to an altruistic desire. The wisdom of Kabbalah explains this process and helps a person to actively participate in it.
[192384]

The Kabbalists Know Everything

Laitman_712_03Question: How did the Kabbalists who lived 5,000 years ago know impossible and precise details about the female body? After all, they weren’t doctors.
Answer: First, in our period they have been finding evidence in archaeological digs that thousands of years ago people even did brain surgery.
In connection to the wisdom of Kabbalah, the Kabbalists know this not from our world. The Kabbalists were not involved with physiological research of women and men. They attained the higher characteristics of nature, of which we are the result. In this respect, the Kabbalists had absolute knowledge and could talk about the male and female body from a fundamental awareness.
For those who are beginning to study the wisdom of Kabbalah, it is not easy to connect our world immediately with the upper world, with the forces that manage us. The forces that create the human body shape its external state and internal organs, arranging them in their places, connecting between them, forcing them to function correctly, and after that, coupling men and women in order to give birth, to nurse, and so on.
All this happens under the influence of higher forces. When we attain the upper system, we no longer even need to learn what is happening in our world because we know precisely what is happening in it from an understanding of how the higher system organizes everything and brings it down into our world.
So in our world, we absolutely carry out the instructions of the upper forces, we have no possibility of operating otherwise. A Kabbalist who has a connection with the upper world sees what is happening at that height and immediately also knows what is happening in our world. It is no secret to him and not at all given to doubt.

The European Union – “A United Space Of Distrust”

laitman_547_05In the News (Lenta.ru): “United Space of Distrust – Why European intelligence agencies can not fight together against terrorism”
“A series of recent terrorist attacks in France and Germany actualized discussion on countering extremism. The issue was raised again about the coordination of special services of the member states. Too often, it turned out that a criminal who committed the attack in one country performed this in sight of the security forces of a neighboring state, but they do not share information with colleagues. …
“There is a paradoxical situation: the extremists in Europe have more freedom of action than those who must confront them. As after the arrest of Abdeslama, the terrorists changed their plans – instead of the business district of Paris La Défense an attack in Brussels – they were outside the jurisdiction of the French secret service, so they lost interest.
“After each new terrorist attack, from the high tribunes sound the ritual appeals to rally more closely and actively share information. … But the words remain words. …
“The EU has succeeded in many ways: a common economic space, open borders, uniform standards of education. But the general security policy – is still a pipe dream. …
“The reason for this, according to the director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies, Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs School of Economics Timofey Bordachev, lies in the very concept of the state and the representation of its functions. ‘The most important duty of a sovereign state is to ensure the security of citizens’ – said the expert. …
“ European intelligence agencies still treat each other with suspicion, remembering the old adage – ‘intelligence has no friends, only competitors.’”
Attitude: I believe that in the near future we will witness the breakup of the European Union because without educating the citizens of these nations with a spirit of unity, living as a single family, they feel like they are strangers to their neighbors.
The restrictions imposed on the nations of the Union will become prohibitive to implement. The benefits of the Union will disappear and be covered with a lack of desire to concede until they “divorce.”
But happiness can be achieved—just as in a family, it is necessary to know how to reach it, to appreciate, preserve, and develop it!

New Life #751 – Connecting Opposites

New Life #751 – Connecting Opposites
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz
Summary
All conflicts stem from our nature. Our nature is the evil inclination and it is constantly brewing something for us. The wisdom of Kabbalah is the only method that allows us to use conflicts in order to develop and to reach a state of wholeness. We have reached a point today in which it is impossible to cover up conflicts on any level or in any field anymore. Today the ego is so big that a person cannot stand anyone by his side in a relationship, in the family, or at work.
Here the wisdom of Kabbalah offers a very practical solution whereby we must find a way to connect above our differences, to discover love above the hatred. In order to do so, we have to discover the positive force in nature that will balance the negative force in us, the evil inclination. A middle line will be built between the negative force and the positive force that we have to discover, and in order to do so, we have to learn a new technique of connecting.
This learning process is done in a group, through exercises. In these exercises everyone relates to himself in several ways: once as the smallest in the group, then as bigger than the other members in the group, and finally as an equal to them. Thus, the three lines of our attitude to others are built in each one and eventually the central point of connection is felt. We expect the special force, the upper Light, called the Creator to be revealed in the center of our connection. Then we will understand that the purpose of all the conflicts between us was to bring us to the attainment of the upper dimension.

With What To Fill An Empty Desire?

laitman_592_01Torah, Deuteronomy 9:20 – 9:21: And with Aaron, the Lord was very furious, to destroy him; so I prayed also for Aaron at that time. And I took your sin the calf, which you had made, and I burned it with fire, and I crushed it, grinding it well, until it was fine dust, and I cast its dust into the brook that descends from the mountain.
When Moses climbed Mount Sinai, his faithful assistant Aaron had to descend to the valley because people were complaining and shouting, “Where is this Moses? Make him come down to us and give us something to pray to. Or give us back the Egyptian idol,” meaning gold, fulfillment of our egoism.
We can’t live in an empty egoism, it demands fulfillment. Enormous empty desires arise in us, and we want to fulfill them. But with what? How? With either altruistic or egoistic pursuits, but it is necessary for our egoism, it can’t live without this and it screams about this. Since egoism, embodied in the golden calf can somehow fill the people, Aaron agrees to it.
Of course, the Creator does all this. After all, there is none else besides Him. But why does He do this? He does it, so that people, while outside of Egypt, would dive into the same huge Egyptian desires and revive egoism in themselves for subsequent correction.
Obviously, nothing happens without the will of the Creator. We can only accelerate the time of our ripening. But such falls as results of destruction of the First and the Second Temple and the exile were registered in Kabbalah in advance, and Kabbalists knew about them.
It is impossible to reach full correction and adhesion with the Creator without going through these states.

Man Is A Social Creature

laitman_423_02Question: Can one get along without other people? Why is it necessary to be in contact with others if such relations are full of disappointments and pain?
Answer: It is impossible to live without mutual relations with others. We have to acknowledge the fact that we depend on other people, that we love to communicate, that we care about our opinion of others and about their opinion about us.
We cannot be satisfied with the media channels and communicate only through them. We are interested in what happens to other people.
We are a social creation of nature and so we have no choice but to be social creatures just as nature has created us and not escape to remote secluded places and live there.
We have to correct ourselves. Escaping from society will lead to nothing and will make us feel low, miserable, and totally uncomfortable. There are people who buy a house on some island and spend their life there not wanting to know anything. Sometimes they visit their neighbors or contact another family or two and settle for that.
Of course it all depends on a person’s character, but even if there are still such people in this generation, there will not be any in the next generation, because despite the difficulty we have communicating, we get closer to each other from one generation to the next and so we have to find the way to establish the right contact with one another. This is what the wisdom of Kabbalah says.

Can Friendship Exist Without Self-Benefit?

laitman_527_02Question: Can friendship exist without self-benefit, and if so, how are the equality and the mutual interdependence in the relationship expressed?
Answer: A person never does anything without self-benefit because he is an egoist. Every action he performs is always an action that he benefits from.
This means that the closer a person is to you and the more you perceive him as part of you, the more you can act in his favor since it is as if you are doing it for your own sake. It is only in such circumstances that a connection between people is possible and not in any other way.

The Jews’ Big Mistake

400Question: What is the Jews’ biggest mistake, in addition to their reluctance to correct their desire through the wisdom of Kabbalah?
Answer: There are Jews who hide from their Jewish origin to such a degree that they act against Jews just like anti-Semites, hoping to eliminate their Jewish roots inside them by that.
We can see that in Europe and in the U.S. as they support anti-Semitic candidates for government, who afterward begin to destroy the Jews including those who helped them rise to power.

New Life #750 – Conflicts In Relationships

New Life #750 – Conflicts In Relationships
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary
Conflict is a natural phenomenon; it is necessary when there is contact between two individuals in creation. The ego, the desire to receive, to enjoy, and to control is constantly growing. All clashes are stem from this. Life is built on connection above the natural oppositions between us; it is written, “Let them go out and make a living one from the other” (Berachot 3b). Conflict is what teaches us what we must do to rise above it. Conflicts are instinctive in still, vegetative, and animate nature.
In the human species, the goal is to develop to “make a living one from the other,” meaning to complement each other, beyond belligerence to a more human level.
Conflict is the foundation of life; it is the foundation of our orientation in nature, like plus and minus. The true solution to conflict can only be through connection, through building a connection above opposition.
It is impossible to eliminate conflicts, it is impossible to “whitewash” them. Instead, one must learn how to build a network of connection above them. In this manner, the conflict remains in full force and we build a connection above it. This situation gives a unique additional pleasure that we are not familiar with in this world. This state is called love, and it is built in the face of hatred.

For The Sake Of Money

Laitman_631_4Question: Is there a limit to the evil a person is ready to do for the sake of money?
Answer: No, because money is equivalent to the general filling of the desire, and a person is ready to do anything in order to fill his egoistic desire.
A person is willing to burn the whole world for money. Even if the desire is small, for him it is the whole world.
Question: How does money affect a person’s spiritual advancement if it is equivalent to a person’s whole desire? How much money does one need in order to advance in spirituality?
Answer: We need a sum we can live on without thinking about our basic necessities.

Our Soul Is Part Of The Creator

laitman_621Question: How should a person treat his own soul?
Answer: The soul is a part of the Creator from above. Therefore a person should feel that he cares for his soul, which is a part of the Creator in him, and this is what he does constantly as the most important thing.

Spiritual Senses

laitman_600_04Question: People have a particular number of senses that help in a full perception of the world: sight, hearing, touch, etc.
Are there additional senses that are not now in our possession, but with which, if they were in our possession, we would see things that don’t appear in our consciousness at the moment?  And are there such feelings that we do not have, but if we did, we would see more that don’t appear at present to our consciousness?
Answer: The practical work of the wisdom of Kabbalah develops these additional senses in us.

Are We Born Egoistic?

Laitman_112Comment: According to the book Introduction to Psychology, altruism and mutual help are not only human traits, but they exist among animals too.
Adam Smith (1759) in The Theory of Moral Sentiments wrote: “How selfish soever many may be supposed, there are evidently some principles in his nature, which interests him in the fortune of others, and render their happiness necessary to him, though he derives nothing from it except the pleasure of seeing it.”
There is also evidence that animals care about each other including developing cooperation between them, displaying loyalty to the group, and their inclination to help each other. Calling this kind of behavior egoistic is like describing every life form on earth as the energy of the sun’s whose structure has been transformed
Answer: According to the wisdom of Kabbalah our whole world is egoistic, as theCreator said: “I have created the evil inclination” and only that! The good in our world, however, can emerge only as a result of the Kabbalists’ actions who by studying the wisdom of Kabbalah learn to draw the good inclination (the Upper Light, the Surrounding Light) through them into our world.

laitman_547_06Question: Must I give up all corporeal pleasures such as listening to music, going to the movies, or being in contact with friends who are not in the group if I want to study the wisdom of Kabbalah and seriously engage in it?
How does a Kabbalist spend his spare time?
Answer: Your desire determines your engagements and your study.

New Life #705 – Jewish Culture: The Synagogue

New Life #705 – Jewish Culture: The Synagogue
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Tal Mandelbaum ben Moshe
Summary
The internal essence of the synagogue is a place where people connect and ask for the power to love one another. Today the attitude to the synagogue is very far from the attitude to a place that the synagogue is supposed to represent.
When Abraham and Sarah gathered people in their tents they taught them to connect and to reveal the upper force in the connection between them. When the Temple was destroyed we drew away from the upper force, from love of others, and the synagogues became formal rituals.
Unfortunately there is no warmth or love in the synagogue today and so people are not attracted to it. They only come to pray and then hurry back home. There is no soul in the synagogue, no spirit of life, and this is a state called exile. In order to come out ofexile we need the force of the Messiah, the force that can draw us from exile, from the separation between us to connection, to the revelation of the soul. The Temple and the Ark of the Covenant, and nowadays the synagogue and the Holy Ark, are symbols of spiritual roots.
There is no holiness in stones if there is no holiness in the heart, and holiness is love. We have to pray for the love to be restored between us.
Minyan, a prayer, reading the Torah, etc. are all symbols of the right connection in which the Creator is revealed. There is no trace of the inner essence of spirituality in all the rituals held in the synagogue these days. One can be psychologically moved by these rituals, but this isn’t the necessary correction of the heart. In the synagogue, all the hearts should melt into one heart in which the force of love is revealed, and the real Torah is the force that can connect all the hearts despite the evil inclination that is revealed.
Minyan, a group of ten people who come to the synagogue wishing to connect, can reveal the Creator, the force of love between them. The revelation of the force of love in the world is the purpose of development, as it is written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations.”

Are There Any Men In Our World?

laitman_547_05Question: If we say that Eve is the created being and Adam is the attitude of the created being, how can it be that the created being (Eve) was created after Adam?
Answer: The fact is that the Creator first conceived to create creation, and the plan, the male part, is in order to do so. Then, through the plan—which is what the Creator wants to do with the created being, what form to shape it in and how much Light to allocate for it—He created the desire to receive, which is basically female.
Adam is the idea, the plan, or the intention, while the embodiment of the idea and the plan is the created being, Eve.
Therefore, the whole of creation is made of two parts: the female part, the desire to receive, and the male part, the intention to bestow.
In fact, there are no men in our world, but only women. Everyone has only female desires to receive, enjoy, and be filled. Thus, according to the Kabbalistic definition, they are all women.
Question: Does that mean that there is one man, which is the Creator, and all of the others are women?
Answer: If there are Kabbalists in our world, they are men. There are no other men.
Question: Don’t Kabbalists receive from the Creator?
Answer: Although a Kabbalist receives from the Creator, thus presenting the female desire in his relationship to the Creator, it isn’t female at all because the corrected state operates in him, to receive in order to bestow.
