Work Without Intention Is Also Work

It is not right to think that there is no benefit from our study anddissemination if we still don’t have the right intention. These actions also advance us. A person’s action cannot be completely without intention. He must see the desired goal before him; this gives him fuel without which he could not advance.
If we act in order to receive, then we have fuel for this, but for the sake of bestowal, we cannot even move. So in the first stage we carry out actions of Lo Lishma with the same egoistic intention that we have, and these actions are useful and help us to advance. In the meantime, we are connected by an inseparable connection with our ego; the upper Light doesn’t make any separation between us.
Since we are in a shattered state, through our actions, we can still attract and summon from above the Parsa, from the world of Atzilut, the Light that Reforms that reaches us through the center of the group, influencing and advancing us. In work like this it seems to a person that he doesn’t advance and doesn’t carry out the right actions. But even though he sees that all the fruits of his work are left with Pharaoh, this is how it has to be, for the advancement in Egypt towards redemption is service under the domination of Pharaoh.
Our ego dominates us and takes all of our energy away from us. And sometimes it gives us energy, but after that, it takes all of the results of our toil. But there’s nothing to do if we are in its servitude; this is the Egyptian exile.
I must not think that the actions that are done under the control of the ego are useless and don’t bring anything. The person must overcome (Itgabrut) this, like a real man (Gever), in order to advance in spite of it all.
The children of Israel had to enter Egypt in order to take Kelim, desires to receive, out from this servitude. If there is no desire, even if it’s destructive, there is nothing to correct and there is nowhere to discover the higher power because the Light corresponds to theKli.
So it’s necessary to respect the work in Lo Lishma, which is given to us now in the period of the Egyptian exile, and to see that we acquire Kelim precisely through it. We need to look at all this in a balanced way and, on one hand, to respect Pharaoh. As it is said when Jacob entered Egypt, he blessed the Pharaoh, for specifically with the help of Pharaoh we raise from the level of Jacob to the level of Israel through the additional Aviutof the desire that Egypt added. So do not think that it is useless to work without intention, meaning without a true intention to bestow.

Our World – A Station On The Way

Question: How am I helping in the correction of a person if I explainAbraham’s idea to him?
Answer: Three thousand five hundred years ago all of humanity lived in Babylon. Some of the people understood that it was impossible to continue living as they had been. The crisis that developed obligated them to look for an answer to why and for what purpose they were living.
Their entire lives were destroyed and they became greatly confused. The Babylon of those times was a great empire with around three million inhabitants. Some of them, close to five thousand people, understood that some kind of process exists in nature, a particular formula for the development of matter.
Within matter there is a developmental force that drives and passes it through all of the levels of development and ultimately brings it to the level of the next existence.
Our entire world is a way station. We arrive here, carry out our work, and go on. Some of the Babylonians discovered this and understood that it is possible to make a transition from here to another level of human existence along with the still, vegetative, and animate levels of nature, which combine together into the level of Adam (Human).
We are talking about desires. We only see desires and only act within them. All of the matter in creation is a desire to receive, including the still, vegetative, animate, and even the essence of Adam. They understood that they must change the method of working with matter, bringing it in line with the higher power that manages it, meaning with the nature within which we are found.
We can be controlled directly by nature, and we can avoid this and want to be like the source of nature. This is the entire difference.
Our World - A Station On The Way
I can be activated egoistically by some source, which is the Creator. If I exist in this form, then I feel the levels of the still, vegetative, and animate existence, and I lack the level of Adam.
The level of Adam is when I erase everything that I receive from the Creator and become like Him. This is an absolutely different level of existence. This is not the still, vegetative, and animate, but the fourth level, the level of Adam.
The important principle is that I can constantly receive from the Creator, being activated by Him, and this is the first form of existence. But there can also be a second form of existence where I don’t just want to exist according to the commands of the Creator that activate my ego. In this case, I don’t call Him the “Creator” instead I call Him, “Pharaoh,” the Achoraim (posterior) of the Creator. I want to resemble the Creator and be like Him. To do this I cancel His control, I don’t agree to His activation. This is a true revolution in people’s minds. Some of the Babylonians came to this discovery and accepted this approach. They saw that life was pushing them towards this. The Creator gradually obligated them, sending them problems, a crisis, and bad feelings.
Today, we are again as if in Babylon; life is very bad. And the problem is that we are like the ancient Babylonians who did not know the Creator. Even then, only a small group learned that apparently this action of nature was deliberate and its origin was in the higher power. Today we must learn to understand this in ourselves and then teach the whole world.

From the Daily Kabbalah Lesson 4/10/14, Talk About Dissemination: Questions and Answers with Dr. Laitman

It Is Impossible To Build A Spiritual Partzuf Without Uniting The People

Question: How is the task of uniting the people connected to building our spiritual Partzuf?
Answer: First of all, we arrange a small part, all who belong to the spiritual Israel: all of our friends throughout the world, all the groups. If we yearn to connect between us, we are building the spiritualPartzuf, but this Partzuf is very small. This is only Galgalta ve Eynaim (GE).
So that GE will have power, we must connect the AHP to us. In GE, there is the Aviut(thickness) of 0-1-2-3-4. Also, in the Light of Hassadim, there is its NRNHY. So, we are compelled to organize external dissemination. It is written about this that people will take the children of Israel on their shoulders and will bring them to Jerusalem to build the Temple. As it is written, “And the peoples shall take them, and bring them to their place; and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the Creator” (Isaiah 14:2), as well as, “…and they shall bring thy sons in their bosom, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.” (Isaiah 49:22).
In this form, we rise to the height of the Temple. However, when we begin to build it, the nations of the world, who brought us there, will enter and be integrated into this building of the true spiritual Partzuf that is built from ten Sefirot into the Malchut of the world of Infinity.
We cannot build our spiritual Partzuf without the people of Israel and without the entire world. But first of all, we need to connect the people of Israel as AHP to our GE.
So, we are involved with dissemination. We simply have no choice because if we don’t disseminate, we ourselves will not grow. We are not talking about growth such that people will join us and be like us as a result of our dissemination efforts. Instead, thanks to serving the people, our GE will grow towards the higher goal.
Question: What will people get from our dissemination?
Answer: If people support us, they will receive Ohr Makif  (Surrounding Light) through us and even a little more than this. Everything depends upon how much they are connected to us. It is even possible to receive inner illumination. Without a doubt, a strong feeling of support, security, and protection will appear.
There is no difference in the Light, whether it is Hochma or Hassadim. Everything depends only on those who receive the Light. If people nullify themselves and connect to us, then they reach the first level, the still, and begin to feel the spiritual power in it.
Question: What else do we require from people besides aligning with us and giving support?
Answer: We need to provide education to the people, not just once, for us to explain what we are doing, and then enlist their support. We must involve everyone in a systematic process of education. Thanks to this, we will grow.

In Nature And In The City

Question: My child is influenced by the environment: classmates, outside, friends, Facebook, and so on influence my child. And I have no way of protecting him from the negative influence of these environments.
There remains only one way out: organizing a reference group. This is a group of children whose opinion is important to my child, and they can direct him back on track. How many people should be in this group?
Answer: Preferably 10-15 children, otherwise the group is not felt. A group is what surrounds me, and the environment is something greater than that quantity that I can count on my fingers. Meaning, it is something more powerful.
Usually we find ourselves in a group of ten people, and in a group of five people we feel most comfortable, it is pleasant not only to talk to each other, but also to just sit quietly. But such a group is good when there is a certain closed intimate atmosphere, suppose in a pub around a separate table or in a big collective that is divided into many groups.
If we will take children out in nature, it is better in a big group so that an atmosphere of surroundings will be felt. Otherwise, a child will feel lonely, because he has gotten used to being enclosed in a big city, and it isn’t this way in nature.
Therefore, to fill some imperfections, the lack of the sense of security, that they have in a city (people, homes, adults, police, etc.), there must be a company with more people.
A modern child is quite remote from nature and in order for him to feel comfortable outside the city he needs surroundings that will arrange some type of life: a campfire, food, music, someone fishing, someone gathering firewood, etc.
Besides that, as the mass of the collective is greater (to a certain limit), the more strongly it internally, psychologically, and subconsciously influences each one. Therefore, it is preferable that not less than ten to twenty people will go on an excursion outside the city.
A group that works successfully within can include hundreds. For example, when our central group goes out to nature, then several hundreds of people gather, including adults and children. Along with that, no external pressure is felt, on the contrary, clear mutual cooperation and the feeling of security and comfort is felt, precisely thanks to the amount of people.

A Spiritual Hunger

Question: This entire process through which the person passes from the moment that the Creator awakens the point in the heart in him and brings him to a group is like a miracle, a stroke of luck. How can a person consciously participate in this process?
Answer: Luck is needed all the time; a miracle is happening all the time. These are all miracles. A person must yearn for this miracle to happen to him, that the Creator will help him in each and every state.
The deficiency, the yearning, the craving, for help from Above must be in us all the time, like a gnawing hunger, like an inner emptiness. That should be our desire for the Creator at each and every moment.

The Bottom Dollar

Question: The exodus from Egypt seems like a great miracle, how do we qualify for exiting Egypt?
Answer: There are several conditions for what we call a miracle. First I cannot predict it, I can only prepare myself for it, but I don’t know when I am fully prepared. It can happen at any moment.
Second, I operate a mechanism that is above nature since I transcend my current nature, this corporeal level, to the spiritual level, which is called birth into the upper world.
I suddenly draw Light into my egoistic desire that influences me and provides me with the attribute of bestowal. These events do not seem to stem from a cause and effect relationship: the next state doesn’t stem directly from the previous state.
One moment I am on the animate level and suddenly I rise to the human level, and the Light of Ruach, to which I had no connection before, enters me. This is how the level of the vegetative also stems from the still, animate from vegetative nature, and now the human level from the animate level.
Every time some higher essence from Above is added and penetrates the matter despite the lack of any preparation for it in the matter itself. No matter how I try to turn my egoistic desire to enjoy, I will not manage to turn it into a desire to bestow.
I can increase my state of Lo Lishma (not for its sake) to a huge dimension, but inside there will always be a certain degree of an intention for myself. I can reach faith above reason that will cover the missing 999 dollars in the envelope that my friend gives me as a repayment of a 1000 dollar debt and instead of the one dollar that is actually inside, I will see the complete 1000 dollars.
But still, this last dollar remains and ties me to my desire to enjoy. I cannot break this connection. And suddenly Light is poured from Above, breaks this connection, and then provides me with its nature. It’s a miracle that is above ordinary nature.
The Light that shines during the exodus from Egypt is the Light of spiritual birth, GAR ofHochma, although it’s perceived as the greatest darkness. This action is carried out from Above. In the process of corporeal birth it isn’t so obvious: There is a baby inside a mother and he comes out, but we should understand that birth is the transition from one nature to another.

The First Acquaintance With Parts Of My Soul

Question: If I come to the convention and I don’t know anyone there, will this help me in spiritual advancement?
Answer: You don’t have to know anyone. What will you recognize there: faces, the physical character of the person? None of that matters. What is important to me is that these people have an attraction and inclination towards developing their souls, and that is why they are coming. We will be involved with this development there.
I don’t think that it is necessary to be familiar with these people. It is even better not to be familiar with anyone so as not to pay attention to physical bodies. We need to rise above the bodies and above all materiality and concentrate only on desires for spirituality.

You Could If You’re Lucky

Question: Can a student who comes to the convention cross theMachsom?
Answer: We must believe that it could happen at any moment. This is called the coming of the Messiah: the Light will come and take us from below upwards. But I cannot promise anyone that this will specifically happen at this convention.
Although everything is possible; we are in our world under the complete control of the Upper Light; anything can happen. When his time comes depends upon the root of a person’s soul.

Work Until The Ego Is Anesthetized

Question: What is the correct act of dissemination?
Answer: The correct act is when I don’t take account of what is good for me and what is bad for me. I disconnect myself from it, like a judge who must be neutral and only look at where I can bring the most effective benefit and bestowal.
In accordance with it I evaluate all possibilities, go and carry them out. And the more that I hold myself above the calculation of how pleasant or not this will be for me, not figuring out what I will get in the end, the higher my state is.
You should try not to focus on yourself, as if you are under a local anesthetic for pain. As if they gave me an injection of anesthetic and now I don’t feel if it’s bad or good for me. I have detached from myself as if everything is numb inside of me from the anesthesia, all sensations of pain have disappeared.
And then I have the possibility of thinking only about what I see and hear, and inside I don’t feel pain, happiness, or pleasure. Imagine that they gave you a numbing injection, that you stopped sensing the taste of the food and now eat because it is necessary to eat. You even check the clock: “I have been eating for ten minutes, this means that it’s enough.” You do not feel satiated or hungry.
Try to work like this and you will see that you will begin to work in the right way. This is even if you aren’t given anything like this to do from Above, you should give yourself an opportunity for overcoming. As an exercise, this is very useful.

From the 2nd and 3rd parts of the Daily Kabbalah Lesson 4/3/14, Questions and Answers with Dr. Laitman

From One Moment To The Next

The highest level a person attains is called Moses, and only from this level does a person begin to understand how to connect all the desires inside him in order to work for love of and bestowal to others, and through that, the CreatorThis means that only the level of Moses can attain this state of the soul when it is clear how it should be stabilized, connected, and collected.
Collecting all the parts of the soul requires a special penetration into the senses, into the attributes of the egoistic material that leads to the understanding of how it can be presented and connected so that it will work like the altruistic attribute of the Light. This is the work of Bezalel.
Moses is the attainment of the Creator, while Bezalel is the realization of the form and the image of the Creator inside the egoistic desire. Bezalel is in practice, but in practice with a wise heart. There is the wisdom of the mind, attainment, which is Moses and there is the wisdom and the work of the heart which is Bezalel  (which means in the Creator’s shadow in Hebrew).
Moses creates a shadow of the Creator and Bezalel attains this shadow and sculpts theego from it, and from the ego, the resemblance to the Creator. This is like projecting a picture on a wall and then drawing it. But all the work is done inside a person.
At the same time we don’t create anything new, but simply take our ego and sculpt it into different forms like clay by putting the focus on the importance of certain forms instead of others. If in the past I used myself for my self-benefit, if I abused or stole, now I do the opposite, I use myself for your sake.
There is a change of variables by which everything changes from for my own sake to your sake. Who is ahead, who is more important, determines the whole difference between the worlds.
Question: If I hold on to Moses inside me, will I never leave it?
Answer: This cannot be because the desires and the attributes in you change. This means that you have to hold on to Moses every second. Every moment is different from the next in that the desires change and each time you have to hold on to him again.
The same thing happens in our world, but we simply don’t pay attention to it. In spirituality all the work is done from one moment to the next, from ascent to descent.

Whoever Is Born Today Is Not Responsible For Yesterday

Question: Does a person need to do some kind of work with disappointment, with his heaviness of heart, or should one simply be sorry and that’s all?
Answer: In general I would not recommend entering or deepening this sorrow, but relating to it with maximal simplicity, as if you don’t remember anything and don’t feel anything of what was. Every day you must be a new person.
It is written, “A fool sits with his hands folded and eats his own flesh.”  “What did I do and why did I behave like this, oh, oh, oh my, ay ay! How badly I behaved, what I have done!” This is foolishness, especially because of your lack of faith in what the sages said, that everything is managed from Above and that the Creator in advance has arranged the results of all of your actions.
So we follow a different line and never look back. Certainly this is not always successful because suddenly thoughts arise about how much harm you caused, what you did, and you begin to eat yourself up. You are given these states intentionally because you must rise above them.
Everything that a person did in the past sinks into the past; everything is done according to the instruction of “There is none else besides Him.” It’s forbidden for you to get involved with this and think that supposedly you could have changed something in the past and brought about other results. Everything went out one hundred percent correctly regarding what had to be; and at the end of correction, it will be revealed how correct this actually was.
Believe me, I have experience; it’s forbidden to think that something in the past depended upon you. Nothing depended upon you! So at every moment, you need to become a new person, “I was born just now; what do you want from me? There is nothing to demand of a newborn.”
You were born and will begin the work anew, clarifying: “Who am I, what am I, and who is this higher power that I must resemble? Ah, so I have a group, how nice! What do I need to do with the help of the group? Connect with them? Okay, I will connect. What for, why, and how do I get that?”
At every moment you begin to clarify from a clean slate, and don’t carry anything from the past with you. At every moment a new Reshimo is discovered within you; so how is it possible to continue something? It has already transformed, just like digested food; it’s impossible to begin to digest it again. You must want to become completely new, like a fetus.

From the 1st part of the Daily Kabbalah Lesson 4/14/14, Writing of Rabash

Absence Precedes Presence

Baal HaSulam, “This is for Judah:” The Creator made creation existence from absence. Hence, there is not a single creation that was not previously in absence. However, this absence has a distinct form in each element in creation, because when we divide reality into four types: still, vegetative, animate, and speaking, we find that the beginning of the still is necessarily complete absence.
However, the beginning of the vegetative is not complete absence, but merely its former degree, which, compared to itself, is considered absence. And in the matter of sowing and decay, which are necessary for any seed, it is received from the shape of the still. Also, it is the same with the absence of the animate and the speaking: the vegetative form is considered absence with respect to the animate, and the animate form is considered absence with respect to the speaking.
The main thing a person has to clarify on his current level in order to ascend to the next level is that he doesn’t have the upper level! As it says: “absence precedes presence.” I don’t exactly know what my next level has to be, but I feel that I lack it! If my deficiency regarding the next level is ripe enough, I move on to it. This means that “absence precedes presence.”
This is what happens in the transition from the level of the still to the level of the vegetative, and from the level of the vegetative to the level of the animate, and from the level of the animate to the level of the speaking. How can one ascend from the level of the speaking to the level of the Creator? Where can we begin to clarify what we lack?
Hence, the text teaches us that the absence that precedes man’s existence is the form of the beast. This is why it is written, “a wild ass’s colt is born a man,” as it is necessary for every person to begin in the state of a beast. And the writing says, “Man and beast Thou preserves, O Lord.” And as a beast is given all that it needs for its sustenance and the fulfillment of its purpose, He also provides man with all that is necessary for his sustenance and the fulfillment of his purpose.
Therefore, we should understand where is the advantage of man’s form over the beast, from the perspective of their own preparation. Indeed, it is discerned in their wishes, since man’s wishes are certainly different from those of a beast. And to that extent, God’s salvation of man differs from God’s salvation of a beast.
It turns out that we need to feel that we don’t want the Creator and the spiritual world, but that we want to remain beasts who carry on with our comfortable life in our pen and nothing but that. This means that I have to discover my real desire in the current state and my refusal to leave it by even one millimeter. This is a feeling of absence.
I don’t feel that I lack the next level and actually see that I don’t miss it in any way. According to my nature I am ready to remain on the corporeal level forever. Without this feeling I cannot reach the recognition of the negative form.
This teaches us that the form of the absence is but the negation of the presence. And we know the form of the presence, redemption,  from the verse, “and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor… for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them.” Hence, the form of the previous absence, meaning the form of exile, is only the absence of the knowledge of the Lord. This is the absence of the Aleph, which is missing in the Gula (exile), and present in theGeula (redemption) —the Dvekut (Adhesion) with the “Champion of the world.” This is precisely the redemption of our souls, no more and no less, as we have said that all the letters of Geula are present in Gula but the Aleph, which is the Champion of the world.
If all we lack is the revelation of the Creator, the force of bestowal, not for our own pleasure but because it’s a more sublime attribute, we are ready to advance to the state of redemption.

Harmful Children’s Fairy Tales

In the News (from Scientific American Blog): “Childrens’ literature and movies are rife with talking mice and ducks who wear clothes (even if they’re occasionally portrayed without pants) and dogs that range from, well, dogs, to dogs that might as well be people.
“Stories are one of the main ways that our species understands the natural world. Giving human attributes to animals is by no means a recent phenomenon; ancient gods were often hybridized human-like animals (or animal-like humans). In the classic story illustrated above by Arthur Rackham, three bears sit at a table and eat porridge, like humans.
“Given how ubiquitous these anthropomorphic animal-people are in our culture, University of Toronto psychologist Patricia A. Ganea wondered how those sorts of representations influence the way that young children think about real animals.
“Young children already have a hard time distinguishing reality from fantasy, especially before they reach their fifth birthday. And while most children can distinguish reality from fantasy when it comes to visual representations of animals, that distortion can also be reflected in the content of the story itself. ‘Human consciousness, knowledge, abilities, purpose, and intentions are often attributed to animal characters (e.g., seals solve mysteries, cats build houses, and mice drive cars) and even to inanimate objects (e.g., lamps have faces and dance the tango, trains strive against all odds to achieve impossible goals),’ Ganea writes.
“Together, the findings show that language matters more than illustration when it comes to learning about animals’ biology and psychology. Even when the stories were accompanied by realistic images, if the language was anthropomorphic, the kids transferred that false knowledge to real animals.
“More importantly, it isn’t just that the kids failed to learn true facts when exposed to the anthropomorphic stories; those stories actually made it harder for them to learn, teaching them falsehoods rather than facts. They were even more likely to think of animals in human-like terms after reading the books than if they had never seen the books at all!
“Do children transfer the fantastical abilities of non-human animals in their storybooks to their real life models? If so, then those sorts of stories could seriously impede kids’ ability to learn and remember true facts about real animals, or at least to distinguish fact from fiction. That would be especially true for children in urban and suburban areas, who have few opportunities to regularly interact with actual animals, at least compared to their rural counterparts. ‘Presenting animals to children in ways that are similar to how humans act and behave is likely to be counter-productive for learning scientifically accurate information about the biological world and to influence children’s view of the biological world,’ she says.
“The problem is actually more pervasive than it sounds: human adults, at least in the US, are also highly likely to imbue non-human animals with human-like emotions and motivations. It’s a tricky line to navigate. Research is increasingly revealing the fundamental similarities between our species and the rest of the animal kingdom, but there are also aspects of human culture that are, indeed, unique to our species. Is it reasonable to suggest that an animal can feel something complex like pride or embarrassment? We are poised to attribute a similarly complex emotion, guilt, to dogs, but a deeper look reveals that while dogs indeed have a ‘guilty look,’ they probably do not actually realize that they’ve transgressed. If children are routinely exposed to these sorts of anthropomorphic representations of animals, it is no wonder that they grow up to become adults who look at non-human animals as if they are people wearing animal suits.”
My Comment: By the way, in Judaism there are no tales of human-like animals, and if the Torah speaks about a talking donkey, it happens at God’s command. Kabbalah in general looks at the texts of the Torah as secret, the meaning of which is revealed only to one who has attained love of friends.

Don’t Flee From The Work But From Yourself

Question: What is the slavery of a person in Egypt?
Answer: He tries to connect with others and is slightly successful every time through some new test, but the fruits of this connection go to Pharaoh who sucks them out of the back of the neck. This means that the ego steals everything and keeps it inside for itself. A person feels that he has nothing. This is what happens with us.
And then, as it is said, (Job 20:15): “He swallowed up riches and vomited it out.” The power of the ego swallows the fruits of the labor and then spits in out vomits giving everything back to the person all at once.
Question: When will this finally happen?
Answer: When a sufficient amount of efforts that have been swallowed by the ego accumulate, it makes it possible for a person to rise to for the sake of bestowal. It is impossible to stockpile negative exertion, negative impressions, in any other way. You cannot work if they are all in front of you.
Even when a little is shown to you, you take account of what you have, this is bad and that is bad, and you flee immediately. And so you won’t run away but will continue to work, your disappointments disappear. This gives us the opportunity to continue by coming again and again to disappointment about our abilities.
As a result, the accumulated disappointment and consequently the need for the group must be so great that you cry out and want to leave. This doesn’t mean fleeing the work, but fleeing from your ego, from yourself!
There are several conditions that must ripen and accumulate. This is a cumulative process; nothing can be done about it. In order to help you with it, there is darkness and the absorption of your failures. And then you need to be inspired by the group, the study, and the teacher, and every day you need to get back up on your feet again.

I Am There, Not Here

Question: Could it be that the outcry from the slavery in Egypt is not my own frustration but our common frustration?
Answer: Indeed, I begin to see myself as an integral man. I am not myself but my connection with others, the mutual incorporation. I make the decision that I is my connection with the group, that I am not here inside my body but there inside the group.

I Brought You Part Of The Miracle

Question: What should I do if I cannot persuade people and cannot give them an example when I go out to disseminate? There are many examples in our world of the harm that the connection between people has brought them instead of any good.
Answer: If we approach people from the center of the group, we bring them the Light that Reforms. You should understand that you are performing a spiritual act by that, you are bringing a person part of the miracle that can happen in his life. You bring him the initial connection and contact with the Light, and he will complete the rest.
This action should be more spiritual. I don’t try to persuade a person like a rag merchant or other goods. I bring him the end of the pipe of the spiritual channel, and when I speak to him I think about how I can bestow upon him and how I can make this pipe a more reliable, better, more focused, and more efficient conductor of the Light.
This is my goal and my aim and I am not responsible for anything else. After all, who am I? How can I convince a person? Where would I find such skills? Only one out of a thousand salespeople knows how to persuade others, and it isn’t persuasion either but a lie. This means that he knows how to confuse people. This is how it works in our world.
But we don’t even have these skills. We have no merchandise that we can sell, and there is nothing we can give a person except the end of the pipe from which the Light will pour. This is the Surrounding Light, which we don’t see or feel but which will operate in a person.
Each of us should feel that he is performing a spiritual action. I can only be a pipe if I am connected to the center of the group from which I take its spirit and go out to disseminate. When I come in contact with someone, I focus on the spiritual action and use my mind just a bit, and most importantly with the inner feeling. A person will sense this.
This is the actual outcome you need to discover as a result of your work. People don’t need your logical philosophizing; they need a sensation. If the Light operates in the feelings, a person will be with you.
The main war in dissemination is done that way. In order to be a loyal pipe for the Light, the main thing is not to forget that I am performing a spiritual action, pouring an infusing into a person so that he will understand the reason for all evil and what the remedy for all the problems is, and that it remains in him and will keep on working.
Try to touch his heart with your heart. If you speak to him when your heart is in it, then your heart will pour into his heart. And then you will see that people will follow you.

Exodus Occurs In No Time At All

Question: How can we determine the exact measure of the desire needed for a prayer? Perhaps a person who asks for bread has to go hungry for two weeks first, but a person who hasn’t eaten for three days may feel that this cry is the strongest it could be.
Answer: There is no standard measure. It’s a personal feeling that I cannot remain in this state any longer. Besides, we also need a prayer before the prayer because I cannot feel real hatred towards my Egypt and I want to experience the slaveryso that I can really hate it. This is also a prayer because this hatred also comes from the Light that Reforms, and every prayer is meant to draw and bring the Light closer.
All these states are carried out very quickly. The Torah tells us a lot about what happens before coming to Egypt. Then there is the story about how the children of Israel entered Egypt, about the birth of Moses, about his escape and his life with Jethro. However the actual exodus is very fast, as if it takes no time. Therefore we only need to ask.
If the Light begins to work and a person is dominated by the Light, he immediately goes through states as if above time. We are very close to this and we can force the Light to operate.

Working Alone Keeps Us In Egypt

Question: What stops a person most from coming out of Egypt?
Answer: A person forgets that we acquire spirituality by connecting. So this becomes the work in Egypt. If you work alone, you are calledPharaoh’s slave.
We should always check ourselves with regard to the group because there is no other scale we can use. We were given vessels, shattered deficiencies that are scattered among all of us since everyone is incorporated in everyone else. Therefore, we don’t understand what is happening. We need to start arranging ourselves in the group and to bring it to the form of a spiritual Partzuf.
It should be a form in which the upper force, the Creator, is revealed. This is all our work: building ten Sefirot, not nine and not eleven, no more no less. All of creation is made of ten Sefirot.
We have to find our place in the Partzuf, the place of those who want to connect in bestowal. This matches GE, the phase of Israel, and rest are AHP that join us and help us. How can we grow? We grow by the AHP, with its help. The bigger the AHP is, the bigger our part of the GE above it can be. Thus we build Aviut (thickness) in GE too, and then the work with the real AHP begins.
