To See A Perfect World

laitman_751.1Question: To enter into a perfect world, into infinity, does it mean becoming perfect yourself, and from your corrected self, seeing perfection, eternity?
Answer: Yes, to the extent that I change within, I can see changes in the world around me.
Question: How do I come to the point that I myself have to change? After all, I am trying to change others my whole life.
Answer: Indeed, usually a person wants to change everyone else. He wants nothing more than to “bend” the world around him. However, in fact, the world does not bend. It is created such that if you want to bend it, you bend yourself. As a result, you will understand, perhaps not in one but in several lives, that you’re the one who needs to bend.
There is nothing demeaning about it. This is such an exciting game, such a fascinating, conceptual journey: while I am changing, I see the world around me also changing, like in a fairy tale. And it is possible.
Question: However, during the 70 to 80 years of one’s life, a person is somehow changing, which cannot be said about the world. What changes are you talking about?
Answer: The world is also changing a little, but only on that inanimate level at which people change. Why is the world today different from the world 100 years ago? Various technical and technological changes took place, climate conditions became different, some species of fauna and flora became extinct, etc. Everything comes from the fact that by changing, we see the world changing around us.
But these are very small changes at that same, inanimate level. It is not a new world. After all, we remain the same egoists.
Th fact is that when our material desires change, we begin to invent something ostensibly new. However, there is nothing to invent, because if a person begins to radically change his nature, his egoism, to the opposite property of bestowal and love, the property of connection with others, he then sees a completely different world through his new properties.

How Do I Get The Right Answers?

laitman_528.01Question: How do I ask the teacher correctly in order to receive correct answers?
Answer: You cannot because no question deserves an answer and should not be accompanied by it. One must ask everything from oneself or from the Creator.
On some issues you should consult with your friends in order to get the strength to move forward, from the teacher you get instructions, and from the Creator—the power of your development, correction, and movement.
Therefore, the more we study, the fewer answers you will receive from me.
Remark: We often try to ask questions not for ourselves, but for the beginners.
My Comment: I always feel what I have to do. Therefore, if a new student appears instead of you, I will answer him at his level, and you will still receive nothing from it.

New Life #126 – The Essence Of Communication, Part 1

New Life #126 – The Essence of Communication, Part 1
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz
Summary:
Communication is the essence of life and we feel dead without it. The levels of still, vegetative, animate, and speaking in nature all search for connection based on egoistic self-fulfillment, according to the formula of “for my own sake.” The connection is stronger between greater opposites and this contact has developed life ever since the Big Bang. Evolution is driving us to a new phase in the connection between us. It’s requiring us to find a complementary, two-way system of connection as in a stereo system. By nullifying the intention of “for my own sake” and developing the intention of “for the sake of others,” we are able to feel others as ourselves and acquire a new, whole method of communication The attempt to connect with others in this way reveals the oppositeness between us and we gradually discover that nature is like one big, whole ball an analog system. A new level of life is revealed by this two-way communication; a world of infinite information and emotion.

The Game That Awakens The Upper Light

laitman_942Rabash, “The Agenda of the Assembly 1”: In love of friends we should behave the same: After examining ourselves and following the known advice of praying, we should think as though our prayer has been answered and rejoice with our friends, as though all the friends are one body. And as the body wishes for all its organs to enjoy, we, too, want all our friends to enjoy themselves now.
Question: Rabash says that a person should behave as if his prayer has been accepted. But what should I do if my prayer has not been formed yet and I have not advanced?
Answer: It does not matter what you have gone through and what you have not. You can always implement the desired state as if you have attained it.
Question: Do I do it for others?
Answer: And for yourself as well. You play it and consequently excite the upper source that changes you.
You have to be certain that the Creator hears your prayer and replies immediately. It does not matter if you understand that you received the answer. You do not know if your prayer was accepted or not. You just have to have full confidence that it works.

Reviving The Network Of Forces Of The Upper System

laitman_264.01Question: Why were we given the sensation of independent existence in this world? It totally confuses us and doesn’t allow us to do something on our own.
Answer: On the contrary, you are given the opportunity to do everything to become like the Creator, to reach His level! It is a tremendous job.
Maybe it seems to you that if you say: “There is none else besides Him,” with that you wash your hands of everything: “You have problems? Contact the celestial administration, but I have nothing to do with it.”
No! You have to change yourself so that you will completely understand, feel, and discover for yourself the upper system and see how it operates absolutely everything through an infinitely thin network. Only by attaining the entire network of forces that govern the feelings, thoughts, and various connections between opposing creatures, will you be able to say that this indeed is the network of connections about which it is said: “there is nothing else but it.”
In the book A Sage’s FruitBaal HaSulam writes: “All the thoughts that arise in a person’s mind are actions of the Creator. That one seemingly attracts them from somewhere, or that they are born within him—it is a deception and the source of all deceptions. Any thought, even the most insignificant one, the Creator sends into the mind of a person, and He is the driving force of man, animal, and everything living.”
We need to clearly feel this and act accordingly. We must directly participate in this network of forces, to live within it, to bring it to live. We turn it on.

When There Is Longing For Spirituality

laitman_933Rabash, “The Agenda of the Assembly – 1,” Article No. 17, Part 2, 1984: And afterwards, everyone should behave the same as in the last three of the “Eighteen Prayer.” In other words, after having pleaded before the Creator, The Zohar says that in the last three of the “Eighteen Prayer,” one should think as though the Creator has already granted his request and he has departed.
Question: Why does Rabash draw an analogy between a prayer and the assembly of the society?
Answer: The Torah and all the holy books are intended not for religious people but rather for us to use them in our practical spiritual work.
Question: Is the prayer a program of a person’s actions in the group?
Answer: Of course. What else is it written for? It is an elevation of the desire that you raise to the Creator so that He will give you what is required for your work.
If a person cannot come to prayer, it means that he does not have such a need (Hissaron), there is no sense of lack, strength to move forward, longing, and hunger for spirituality.
Question: Can everything that Rabash writes about the order of the assembly of the society occur at the same place and at the same time?
Answer: Neither geography nor time matters. This can occur at different times, between different friends.
Question: Are these cumulative states?
Answer: Yes, but in each of us they are accumulating arbitrarily, not necessarily at the same place and at the same time. In spirituality, this is not a rigid function.

New Life #125 – Managing The Process Of Integration In The Workplace

New Life #125 – Managing the Process of Integration in the Workplace
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz
Summary
Introducing the integral approach to the workplace should be like automatic transmission: natural, soft, and gentle. No change can be made unless people are ready for it internally. More people are recognizing that humanity is undergoing a very special transformation as the global crises and bankruptcies continue. The integral approach will be presented as a means of healing efficiencies, profits, and human relationships. The safe, warm, and bright future picture that will be presented is one based on cooperation, equality, mutual support, and complementation. It is best to begin this integral education with managers and then gradually advance to the lower positions once staff start to feel uncomfortable with the differences between them. Organizations will need representatives who offer close and continuous guidance toward spiritual connection because the ego never goes on holiday. As staff feel a pleasant sense of harmony without pressures and conflicts, they will share lunches during break times, enjoy special treats, and eventually even plan fun family days.

Realize The Importance Of The Society

laitman_938.04Rabash, Writings of Rabash, the Article “The Agenda of the Assembly”): Similarly, with love of friends, at the very beginning of the assembly, when gathering, we should praise the friends, the importance of each of the friends. To the extent that we assume the greatness of the society, one can appreciate the society.
“And then pray” means that everyone should examine himself and see how much effort he is giving to the society. Then, when they see that you are powerless to do anything for the society, there is room for prayer to the Creator to help you, and give you strength and desire to engage in love of others.
The fact is that a person does not really want to do something for the sake of the society. Why should he care about the society, why think about it? This is a very hard work against one’s desires. Therefore, Rabash gives very clear and sharp instructions in his article.
A person must understand that his goal is tied precisely to the society, that the connection with the society and the connection with the Creator are one and the same. The society is specifically given to us so that inside of it we can work on getting out of ourselves, that is, so that we can lower the importance of our “I” and increase the importance of what is outside of us. This is a very complex system, a very difficult condition.
We cannot do this by ourselves. We can only ask for it, and even that we do artificially, saying: “Yes, I would like to,” although in reality we cannot want it. It is very hard for us to even think about it, let alone approach it.
Question: What does it mean that I give all my strength to society?
Answer: This is possible only if we receive from above such a force of bestowal and love that will oblige us to think and do what is beneficial and necessary for society. Then we are able to do it, and not otherwise. I cannot be above my nature, which automatically locks me inside myself and in the circle of the people closest to me.

New Life #124 – Management And Leadership In The Workplace, Part 2

New Life #124 – Management and Leadership in the Workplace, Part 2
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz
Summary
A manager using the integral approach will know how to turn his organization into a family, not just as a slogan, but in practice. It is a unique approach since the manager is continuously guiding the organization by working with the ego and not suppressing it. The manager conducts workshops for teams of directors who will discuss how a lack of connection is at the root of all the problems and this manager demonstrates how to connect above hatred. He establishes a good atmosphere that gently improves everyone and in which the directors feel emotionally impressed. A common mind is the outcome of working against our ego and ascending above the distance between us. An organization that changes to integrality accelerates the pace of its development. Establishing a good connection guarantees our success in terms of progress, innovation, and mobility.

The Call Of The Light

laitman_209Question: What should I do with my thoughts, since they come from the Creator?
Answer: Everything comes from the Creator: the good and the bad. It is given to a person so he would analyze and choose the correct path.
Question: What if bad thoughts come to me?
Answer: There are no bad thoughts. There are thoughts directed to the goal—either strictly toward it or against it. But all the same, all these thoughts and desires are goal-oriented, they proceed only from the ultimate goal.
The Light acts upon you from there and calls you either with positive or negative thoughts. You must analyze them and act accordingly in order to move toward the goal from which these thoughts have come: both the good and the bad thoughts.

“A Path Of Torah And A Path Of Suffering”

laitman_276.05Whether we like it or not, we are obligated to go through all stages of development. It is impossible to skip something, but it all depends on the approach with which we come to each subsequent stage. However, each stage is necessary because it develops our feelings, mind, recognition, awareness, and freedom of choicethat lets us reach our goal in a mature way.
There are two ways: the path of light and the path of suffering, two forces that operate upon us and develop the recognition of evil in us. Recognizing evil means not blindly following one’s animal, primordial nature, but each time choosing an increasingly higher definition, higher law, higher principle, and passing it to the next degree, that is, deciding what is closer to the Creator, to expansion, understanding, recognition, and adhesion with the upper force.
A person constantly struggles between his animalistic, corporeal nature, which wants to fully define his egoistic behavior, and the spiritual principle according to which adhesion with the Creator, connection, unification, attainment of the integral nature and love one’s neighbor as oneself are the higher values.
We were given the freedom of choice in order to choose this good idea instead of corporeal egoistic pragmatism, but egoism is very close to us and it controls us. That is why it is so difficult to see and understand the need for spiritual development every time. Corporeal egoism clouds our eyes and does not allow us to see any benefit in what is beyond the scope of the animalistic body.
That is why it is so important to organize the right environment for yourself. Only it can help us exit ourselves a little and look at ourselves from the side in order to attract the returning light, that is, to make ourselves take the medicine that will change us. Of course, it is impossible to do it yourself. Only the environment convinces us to take the medicine from the outside, in contradiction with our nature, in the struggle against it by faith above reason, moving forward drop by drop and manifesting freewill.1
Darkness always is revealed before the light. It is still so dark in the world that it does not even understand that it is darkness, but thinks that it is supposed to be this way. No one wants to agree that we are in the darkness in all areas of our life. How many people are mistaken in believing that today’s democracy and liberalism are an advanced form of existence? Liberalism itself is not at all bad, but the problem is that it cannot be implemented under these conditions.
That is this way in everything, “the advantage of the Light is revealed from within darkness.” The more we feel the darkness, the more we will reveal the light. Therefore, each stage consists of descents and ascents, days and nights. The world is already awakening, but it is still in darkness.
The coming year will be very dark. But this is a good development because we realize that the end of our corporeal development has come and we will stop chasing after the values that ruled the world for thousands of years. Humanity tried everything: communism, fascism, socialism, liberalism, democracy, and so on and gained experience in everything.
Now the world is facing a completely new development. The main thing is to understand that our only enemy is egoism. If we change our egoistic nature, we will correct our entire life. As if we have a computer with billions of various details that are all correct, but are processed by the wrong, corrupted program. It is necessary to change the program in order to connect all these details, draw conclusions, and correctly implement it.
It all starts with a recognition of evil. Until we correct the nature of a person, all the wisdom and knowledge accumulated by us will remain useless and will even harm us. In this case, it is better to sit and do nothing.
Any egoistic undertaking ends in failure. Each revolution started with enthusiasm, with hope for improvement at least for some at the expense of others: either yellow, like in France, or red, like in Russia, or black, like in Germany. However in time it becomes clear that all these movements are egoistic and usually based on the hatred of one group of people toward another.
The problem is always in the ego of man, which exists in his foundation. The more developed is the country, the more egoism rules in it. Until we correct egoism, it is better to do nothing, because everything will turn out to be detrimental to us.2From the 1st part of the Daily Kabbalah Lesson 12/31/18Writings of Baal HaSulam, “The Freedom,” Title “A Path of Torah and a Path of Suffering”

New Life #123 – Management And Leadership In The Workplace, Part 1

New Life #123 – Management and Leadership in the Workplace, Part 1
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz
Summary
The integral manager is a social leader who has a delicate soul and worries about his people like a caring father. This type of manager treats all his people equally and helps them connect through different activities and by organizing a positive environment. He will motivate others by establishing a heartfelt attitude toward his workers. He will lead by setting an example and will have to break himself more than anyone else during the process of integral education. This leader will know how to merge feeling and mind as well as social and hierarchical relationships. In other words, he will know how to create a ball out of lines and circles. He will use integral education to develop creativity and constant improvement.

The Main Commandment—Unity

laitman_235“Keeping the commandments” in a Kabbalistic group is the connection between ten or less people who decide among themselves that they want to attain the Creator. Thus, they must connect and begin to assemble a group united according to the laws of the soul, to the laws of mutual bestowal. It is good if there are ten of them; however, if this does not work out, then it is written that the minimum is two people.
If we want to reveal that the Creator is bestowing, we must bestow to Him. First of all, we need to build an instrument of bestowal, so we start to create it between us. As it is written: “And from love of friends one can reach love of the Creator.”
We scrutinize what it means to love and bestow to each other. Everything should manifest in the connection between us and not somewhere in heaven. It is necessary to check whether all our previous ideas about connection between people belong to what should be manifested in the soul, that is, in the corrected ten. All our work consists of such clarifications of our actions and intentions.
If every day in every lesson, we clarify the type and nature of the connection between us and are always examining its strength and most importantly its quality, then we will begin to climb the steps. We ourselves determine how close we are to the Creator since He will not let us advance more than our preparation allows. We ourselves set the speed of our advancement.
We then begin to feel not our personal, individual states, but what is happening between us, in the center of the group, in our relations. This is what determines our attitude toward the Creator and the Creator’s attitude toward us. Our connection with the upper force happens in the point of our connection. Therefore, we are constantly working on this point and want only to identify, enlarge, and live in it more and more, until it becomes a point of our merging with each other and with the Creator.1

Principle Of Passing To The Upper World

624.02Rabash, “The Agenda of the Assembly – 1,” Article No. 17, Part 2: …everyone should examine himself and see how much effort he is giving to the society. Then, when they see that you are powerless to do anything for the society, there is room for prayer to the Creator to help you, and give you strength and desire to engage in love of others.
everyone should examine himself and see how much effort he is giving to the society. Then, when they see that you are powerless to do anything for the society, there is room for prayer to the Creator to help you, and give you strength and desire to engage in love of others.
Question: Rabash advises constantly trying to take care of society. Does it mean that he deliberately brings us to the wall of hopelessness?
Answer: Pointing to the need to exert all of a person’s efforts for society’s benefit, Rabash leads us to the understanding that it is impossible to serve society selflessly. Even if we talk about this with other people, they will say, “Why not? This is what we do.” Yet, in principle, it is impossible.
We need to gradually get used to uncovering the threshold that you cannot cross. However, this threshold must exist so that you would want to cross it, although you cannot.
Our problem is that we do not want this crossing, we do not touch it at all. The Kabbalist teachers are pushing us forward, “Go. Try. Pass this obstacle, as if you can exit yourself, as if you can enter society, think about it, love it and not yourself, give to it and not to yourself. Try again and again.”
Why? It is for you to know this boundary clearly marked by your egoism: you can act inside it, and outside of it, you have no strengths and opportunities. Then at the same time, you will understand that you need to overcome this boundary, but you do not know how to. Here you begin to ask, and then a prayer appears.
The principle is simple: In order to enter the spiritual world, you need the help of the Creator. The Creator gives help only when you ask Him. You can only ask when you really want it. You can only want it when you tried many times to achieve it and made sure that you want to, but can’t. That is where we start.
These are all consecutive actions that a person must go through before entering the upper world.

“With Love To See Only Good Things”

laitman_938.05Rabash, “Concerning the Importance of Friends”: [If a person]“works on himself to love him [a friend], then it is natural with love to see only good things. And even though there are bad things in one’s friend, he cannot see them, as it is written, “love covers all transgressions.”
A person feels that other than himself, everything else is the Creator’s actions, who controls and launches everything. Therefore, he cannot attribute personal actions, thoughts, and impulses to the friends. It is all the Creator.
Also, the Creator gives him a little freewill: how to relate to it, transform, and come closer to Him. And he already looks at his friends as if they are in full connection with the Creator.
Question: When it is said that “love covers all transgressions,” are the transgressions in me?
Answer: Of course. All selfish tendencies regarding the friends are covered with love. And one builds on top of the other because the Light comes that shows you everything. Since it was not there before, you saw everything negatively, and now, you see everything positively.
Love is an attitude toward others when you do not see anything wrong with them. You just love them. They are more precious to you than yourself.

Reeducation In Ancient Times

Laitman_001.02Question: During the times of the Kabbalists, where did reeducation take place for a person who committed an offense? Was it in prison?
Answer: According to the wisdom of Kabbalah and the Torah, there were no prisons. Based on the upper system of governance, it is forbidden to deprive a person of freedom when each one of us is simply controlled!
If you open the book of Torah, you will see that the only prison that existed belonged to Pharaoh. People were thrown into it and remained there for as long as the lord wished.
Yet, Kabbalah says that there is one Lord for us all and everyone is completely equal before Him, both the Pharaoh and the mere mortals. Therefore, it is impossible for one person to judge another.
That is, the judges who in ancient times were among the people ascribed to everyone what spiritual corrections they needed to make because people made mistakes because they did not understand this.
Question: At that time, were there cities of refuge for offenders?
Answer: Cities of refuge are something different. If a person committed such a crime that he needed to be isolated from society until he atoned for his wrongdoing, he was sent to the city of refuge where he lived and worked. He was released from there after six years.
In addition, according to the Torah, there is a commandment to repay all debts in the seventh year. In the fiftieth year, everything is cancelled and goes back to the previous owner, for example: land, home, etc.
That is, everything is arranged so that a person would not feel attached to something in his life or obliged to someone. This would create a psychological layer for him that everything is temporary, everything is suspended in the air, there is nothing absolute: the land is not mine, the house is not mine. There is no attachment to corporeality. Everything depends only on the way he, at every moment, establishes this between himself and the upper force.

“Hebrew Language Day: An Opportunity To Learn About The Code Of Love“ (Breaking Israel News)

The largest portal Breaking Israel News published my new article “Hebrew Language Day: An Opportunity To Learn About The Code of Love“:
We are fortunate to be living in a time when we can speak Hebrew freely. I only began to learn Hebrew when I moved to Lithuania in the early 1970s, while in transit on the way to Israel. Until then I only got to know the Hebrew language slightly, through my grandfather who read the Gemara and prayed from a siddur (Jewish prayer book). If you had asked him about the meaning of the Hebrew words, he would have answered you in Yiddish, just like all the elderly people who lived in Vitebsk, my hometown. Our parents were forbidden to speak Hebrew altogether. They spoke mostly Russian, and occasionally Yiddish.
Celebrating the Birth of A Special Language
The Hebrew language is a unique phenomenon. It’s an expression of love-hate relationships.
After the destruction of the Second Temple, which was destroyed as a result of unfounded hatred, Hebrew almost completely disappeared as the Jews’ daily spoken language. From the second century CE until the beginning of the twentieth century, the vast majority of Jews spoke the local languages of the regions in which they lived. Yet, they learned to read and write basic Hebrew so that they could pray and read the holy books, just like my grandfather in Vitebsk.
‘Hebrew Language Day’ Marks The Revival
Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, whose birthday falls on Hebrew Language Day, and in whose honor this day is celebrated – was the man who revived the Hebrew language. But when reviewing from a deeper and more comprehensive perspective, the reason we have resumed speaking the Hebrew language every day is that the people of Israel are gradually returning to their spiritual roots: to be one as one man with one heart, setting an example of unity for all peoples, and thus become a “Light unto the nations.”
The revival of the Hebrew language is the first expression of the glue that binds the people of Israel together. And even though we are not fulfilling our purpose yet, we are on our way towards it.
Hebrew Provides the Code for Spiritual Connection
According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, Hebrew is not a language like all other languages. The twenty-two letters Hebrew letters are actually twenty-two code symbols. Kabbalists use these code symbols to describe the process of discovering the connection with the spiritual reality.
Kabbalists refer to spirituality itself as “an abstract light” that has no shape or form, and the first sensation that one feels when entering the spiritual reality is referred to as “a black dot in the white light.” That little point is the root of one’s soul.
Through love towards others, the little black dot receives additional desires and develops into a spiritual vessel we call “the soul.” As the soul grows and develops through love of others, it can then be filled with greater spiritual light.
Each letter in Hebrew has a unique shape, made up of horizontal lines and vertical lines. The horizontal lines express the intensity of love and giving of the soul. The vertical lines express the lights that fill the soul. Thus, the twenty-two shapes of the Hebrew letters express twenty-two ways in which the soul is filled with the light of love towards others. And when the letters join to create words and sentences, the Hebrew language emerges.
The Spiritual Mission of Hebrew Speakers
Today, connection with the spiritual reality through love of others has to happen by rising above the human ego that has inflated over millennia. Although Jews have gathered from the four corners of the world and have returned to speak Hebrew again, Kabbalah explains that the true revival of the Hebrew language is the revival of the soul.
The next stage for the Jewish people is not only to speak the Hebrew language, but to speak it from the soul. In other words, to develop the quality of giving and love again, to receive light in the soul, and thereby speak Hebrew from heart to heart.

What Algorithm Does The Creator Operate By?

laitman_264.01Question: A computer has a language, a task, an algorithm, and a programmer. What is the language of the Creator, what is His task, and by what algorithm does He act regarding reality?
Answer: The Creator operates according to one algorithm: He shattered the entire creation (desire) into different parts. There are only five levels of desire, each of which consists of five more. And they are all torn apart in levels.
In addition, each part is divided into 620 parts and 600,000 levels. Thus, the desires that are broken in all directions should be gradually combined in this stereo picture so that they complement each other. This is our job.
The combination occurs according to a specific program. We can advance by being driven by it, as they say: “under it.” We can advance along with it. And we can go above it, ahead of this program. Depending on this, we will feel lack and suffering, or relatively comfortable, or happiness.

A Successful Gathering Of Friends

laitman_942Question: Is there a difference between a lesson and a gathering of friends?
Answer: The gathering of friends is the means to reveal the Creator, not the revelation itself. We learn how to approach each other so that in our rapprochement we begin to uncover various spiritual phenomena.
In the lesson, however, we are talking about the revelation of these spiritual phenomena: how they are revealed, what they consist of, what they depend on, and so on.
Question: What can be called a successful gathering of friends?
Answer: A gathering of friends can be called successful when we feel that we have advanced in connecting our desires to the state of merging them into one collective integral desire. An entire network of communication arises between us in which we experience a multitude of various combinations and movements. As a result, they create a feeling of the upper force.
From the behavior of the network of connection between us—how each of us changes relative to others, what changes we undergo in our relationships—we begin to feel the gradual revelation of the Creator.
Question: When we read The Book of Zohar we constantly think about unity. For me, it is more powerful than a gathering of friends, where we sing songs and embrace each other. Can one replace the other?
Answer: Not really. We must correctly prepare for connection. But it comes gradually. At first, we act like children to whom you say what to do and they do it, and only later they begin to understand what inner feeling lies in their actions.

Who Do We Mean By The Term “Kabbalist”?

Laitman_632.3Question: Who do we mean when we say “Kabbalist”?
Answer: The soul. If a person, while correcting his egoistic desires, has created from them a likeness of the Creator, then such a state of desire is called “the soul.” More precisely, the soul is called the part of the desires that have become similar to the Creator. The term “Kabbalist” means a person who has such a desire.
Desire, first restriction, screen, reflected Light, coupling while striking, receiving for the sake of bestowal—that is the Partzuf, the soul.

Time Of Joy

laitman_938.03Rabash, “The Agenda of the Assembly – 1,” Article No. 17, Part 2, 1984: Hence, after all the calculations comes the time of joy and love of friends. At that time, everyone should feel happy, as though one had just sealed a very good deal that will earn him lots of money. And it is customary that at such a time he gives drinks to the friends.
If a person has sincerely invested in spiritual work, he will have absolute satisfaction that everything ended well. When you expect special conditions, it means that you are neither in bestowal, nor in prayer, but just in your egoism.
Question: How should I feel when I leave the gathering of friends?
Answer: As if you remain at least at the same level and now you advance. Friends gave you an elevation and you received strength for further advancement.
Because now he is happy, he wishes his friends to feel good, too. Hence, the dispersion of the assembly should be in a state of joy and elation.
Joy is a sign that the gathering of friends went correctly. You are glad that in this way you performed a certain spiritual action, practical work.
As much as a person can keep himself in a state of excitement, this is progress.

New Life #1069 – Spiritual Charisma

New Life #1069 – Spiritual Charisma
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz
Summary
Spiritual charisma is demonstrated when I make myself a zero in order to benefit others and the Creator. The greater a person is, the more he wants to nullify his egoistic charisma and serve others. The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches a person how to use the power of the ego as the left line and build the spiritual self above it. A truly charismatic person evokes feelings of fullness, transcendence, pride, importance, and confidence in others. This type of person can be found anywhere, in any situation, without limit. In the future society, each person will realize himself for the good of others, giving the Creator a place to be revealed.
