The Technology Of The “Wisdom Of The Crowd”: Motivation

Question: In crowd sourcing projects, there is no uniform method, uniform schema, that explains how people connect integrally in order to create a collective mind. All the schemes are created as an experiment, but people cannot repeat them. Therefore, communities that are being created can crumble at any moment and possibly cannot even be created. Could this be a problem of motivation because all these societies are organized without a financial interest?
Answer: This must be a gathering of people for whom there exists a single motivation: We are gathered together in order to be connected into a single unified whole. This is called a “crowd.” A crowd is not just an assembly of people who suddenly gathered in a public square because everyone has heard that something new, strange, and interesting will happen there. The wisdom of crowds (crowd sourcing) is people who understand that there is some kind of mutual integration.
Question: Under what conditions does their mutual integration happen? Why do they succeed in uniting?
Answer: From the point of view of integral science, there must be a kind of unity where every person desires to integrate with the others. And this means that he needs to humble himself before the others, no matter what a great, wise, and all-knowing scientist he is. This is to say, people should have a motivation to be integrated with the others, to listen to them.
Therefore, on the one hand I have to be lower than the others, be ready to accept all that they think and know, ready to accept their point of view. On the other hand, I believe that my point of view could be useful to them, and therefore I express it, without pressuring the others.
It follows that there exist two very different levels: I humble myself towards the crowd, which I call a “group,” and I raise myself above the group. Both of these points of view are given credence. Every member in the group works with them both.
It is specifically in this way that I am included in the others; otherwise, I cannot do this. In relation to the crowd, I am working with these two polarized determinants. At one time I am lower than the others and at one time higher than them, and then I approach a state where I am equal to them. In this kind of state I can accept everything and give everything.

The Power Of Unity

Question: When the integral network is fully connected and all are 100% included in each other, when it has the support of a higher level of nature, then nobody can influence it negatively. But we are talking about a system. How can there be a complex system that nobody can influence externally?
Answer: Everything depends on the quantity and quality of the people who are linked in integral unity. We are not talking about a forceful, destructive influence or about the physical annihilation of the body that happens during a war, for example, that is something else. We are talking about ideology, about an inner connection between us. In this case, all external influences that aren’t integral cannot influence us. They can only help our integration into a stronger, higher society.
For example, if birds or fish are joined together they can defend themselves from predators. Why won’t any predator attack a school of fish that moves as a unit? How can this be? Is the predator afraid of them? Paradoxically they pass him by or he passes them by, and nothing happens. Try to examine the phenomenon and connect it to human society. I think that there are many historical facts about this subject.
Unity causes the appearance of a new, higher power, and I would say that people who are united even have a particular luck that maintains, helps, and heals them. This is how it’s arranged by nature.
But an aspiration towards unity in every circumstance exists only between us humans, the egoists, and therefore it’s carried out in a very painful way. We are constantly colliding, “exploding” like stars, connecting and dispersing again and again. Ultimately, whether we want it or not, we are creating around us or within us a more and more compact system of connection.
We see that the world has become enormous. All of humanity has scattered throughout the world, and on the other hand, it aspires to connection. Therefore it doesn’t matter how much people want to get away from each other, this is the opposite side of unity among them. This will lead us towards unity anyway. And this is a paradox!
Question: But we have often gotten together to do something bad. What leads to that type of unity?
Answer: There exist two levels of unity: virtual, integral, and nationalistic, individual. Therefore if we explore each case on a nationalistic level, we need to describe how this comes to be reflected on an integral level.
If on a nationalistic level there are clashes between us and we are found in difficult situations of conflict, this is not saying that the integral level is damaged. On the contrary, it could be that this proves its necessity. For example, we come to blows. What is the benefit? And if we unite, perhaps we will attain mutual benefit from this.
That is, what we see with our eyes is not the whole picture. You see, there is evolution and the laws of nature according to which we develop; they lead us towards unity, even though this is to happiness “by the rod.”
Question: So then is it better for us to unite for something bad than to be divided, but not by good deeds?
Answer: The person measures his short life according to its happy parts, and if he speaks about the problems, as is understood they are rejected. Come, let’s think about how to reach a good state through a good condition.

A Down Payment That We Must Justify

The world is divided into two parts with regard to spiritual ascent. One part is people in whom the point in the heart has already awakened (the yellow part in the drawing), and so they feel a yearning for spiritual ascent.
They are interested in the meaning of life, in the desire to attain their source directly.
A Down Payment We Must Justify
These people come to us. Some remain with us and some leave and return after a while.
Both are constantly shaken since without that, they cannot advance.
Just like a pump that pumps air from one place to another, just like a piston in a car, so do we advance in our movement forward, we are going back and forth, back and forth.
This doesn’t mean that we are going anywhere. We move a bit higher and a bit lower as we rise higher and higher.
Thus, we constantly move forward, we “scoop” up the ego from below, raise it, and correct it; scoop even deeper, raise and correct it. Thus, we advance gradually, as in a spiral, but this spiral gradually widens up and down, up and down.
A person who doesn’t descend has nothing to bring up; as we study in the wisdom of Kabbalah, there has been a shattering of the desire of the created being, and all the desires have dispersed in what are called the worlds of Beria, Yetzira, and Assiya, including our world.
So, all the people who have a point in the heart (Malchut of Atzilut) must descend and raise the vessel, and then descend again and bring up an even bigger vessel once again, and thus repeat this action over and over again.
A Down Payment We Must Justify
All this is all our Kelim (vessels), our desires. So, until the end of correction (completeGmar Tikkun), there always will be the movement downward that begins and stops alternately and gradually returns to the place where the uncorrected Kelim (vessels) are, which means that there always will be a minus opposite the plus.
Thus, we draw the desires. We raise them up and correct them. We correct most of the desires that are below, without even knowing it.
Different changes occur in every person in the world, and we constantly are busy with correction.
All the changes, everything that takes place in this world and in every person happens only thanks to the descent downward and the ascent upward, a decent and an ascent.
Therefore, all the people in the world unconsciously work for the correction, whether they want to or not.
We are working consciously since we have the point in the heart that already belongs to the upper vessel. When we exit it, we begin our rounds down and up, down and up, constantly, like a spiral.
There is a great difference between the conscious work and the unconscious work. After all, those who work unconsciously experience pain. They are pushed forward by pressure from behind and don’t feel that they are advancing. They simply must move under the influence of different circumstances in life, the pain and the suffering.
We don’t. We try to do this consciously and much more effectively. After all, we try to add the positive force that will push us from the start to this negative vector, beyond the sufferings that push us from below like they push everyone else.
In order to advance with the help of the positive force, we must connect in a group. Besides, we need to study together and create in advance all the conditions in the groupthat exist in the upper world.
The group regulations, all the group laws, are the laws of the upper world that we are trying to fulfill at least to some extent while still in our egoism. We understand that it is all a game.
We only act as if we love one another and yearn for each other, for unity and connection. We play a game, and there is nothing to be ashamed of. Some people say, “If this isn’t true, I will not do it.” This is wrong. Look at kids. Playing is a very serious thing for them. When I try to form the spiritual world in my contact with others, it is a very serious matter.
To the extent that I yearn for that, I develop a new vector in me (the red arrow on the drawing), and begin to feel the attraction forward, not under the pressure from behind. I don’t wait for different circumstances to push me such as the crisis that pushes the world forward and like different personal problems that push each of us. I am equipped with the group’s power and it draws upon itself a great Light from above.
This great Light actually creates one spiritual structure of us, and, this time, it is real. When we all become one, we become equal to the Light since it is also one.
The Light enters us according to the connection of the attributes, the equivalence of form, and we receive the revelation of the upper world, the next state, the next level, the next dimension. This is the difference between the people who receive the desire to advance by themselves and the rest of humanity.
The first part (the part in yellow in figure 1) is us, the people with the point in the heart, while the other part (the lower) is the rest of the world.
These days, the interdependence of these two parts is revealed since the second part has unconsciously drawn into it and thus, unconsciously corrected many of its desires throughout human history.
People without a “point in the heart” have been through many different states throughout history and thus have reached the point where they connect to us today. We receive a movement upward, a pull upward, and they are very close to us, around us, and we are all in a crisis together. This is exactly the same crisis, the crisis of the absence of theCreator, the absence of the revelation of the Upper Providence. However, for us, this deficiency of the Upper Providence is a serious matter, and we are drawn forward, wanting to discover Him. For them, however, it is a very unpleasant push from behind since we see what condition the world is in today.
This is exactly the unique chance for all the people who feel the attraction toward the goal of creation, to the revelation of the Light in the vessel. Their advantage is that, if they work for the correction of the part of the world that has no connection with the Light, they will get the chance to come closer quickly to the Light since the Light passes through them to others.
In what way is each of us special? What special thing have we done in life? What special attributes do we have? There is nothing special about us, nor about me. We have received a point in the heart, a desire to reveal the Upper Light, as a precondition, as a down payment. If we work for the rest of humanity, the Upper Light certainly will be revealed to us so it will pass through us to all of humanity.
Thus, we can understand what the conditions are: “Love thy neighbor as thyself” and “as one man in one heart,” reaching the connection between us, and so on. These are the exact conditions for the revelation of the Light, for the correction of the vessels, but it is expressed in a different language.
Kabbalists in previous generations have adapted the wisdom of Kabbalah to their correction and described it in their books in order to prepare it for us so that we will be able to use it widely everywhere. Thus, their writings are all meant for us since in all the previous generations there were only a few Kabbalists, actually only a few dozen. The Ari, for example, a great Kabbalist of the 16th century, had only six or seven students. Later, in Padua, Italy, there was another great Kabbalist, Ramchal, who also had only a few students.
Today, thousands all over the world are interested in the wisdom of Kabbalah and they need it since, without it, their life is merely a corporeal life. In fact, I didn’t think there would be so many people who study Kabbalah, although a small group of ten to twenty people in relation to all of humanity.
Kabbalah is the wisdom of drawing the Light upon ourselves. In order to do that, we must learn the structure of the upper world and how all its parts are arranged, how the egoistic desires rise to the correction of Malchut of Atzilut and how they incorporate and later rise to the Partzufim of YESHSUT, Abba ve ImaArich Anpin, Atik, and thus all the way to the world of Ein Sof.
However, it is for us. We need the wisdom of Kabbalah in order to draw the Upper Light, and mutually work with it, turn to it, and receive from it.
The masses don’t need the wisdom of Kabbalah in order to receive the Upper Light since they don’t work mutually with the Light, but they still must unite. They must understand that it is in a state of unity that they will get rid of all their problems that pressure them on all sides. They only need to know one thing: We will get rid of all our problems, of all the negative states (-) if we are united.
The wisdom that is meant for the masses is called integral education. It speaks about the need for unity so that the force that neutralizes all the negative effects will be revealed in it. Therefore, the masses also need a group, but a group of a different status, a different form, a different style, a different yearning—simply, unity of the people.
This will happen when they understand that, if they unite, they will feel better, and all the different negative effects will disappear. This is the difference between the wisdom of Kabbalah and integral education.
On the whole, these are two parts of the same wisdom of unity of all the people on earth; they speak about the same thing. Only the people who can draw the Upper Light and mutually work with it because they have a point in the heart can explain the structure, the mutual work, the upper world, the levels by which their demand for the Light rises and the Light descends. They need this in order to spur the Upper Light upon themselves.
Others don’t need that. They simply need to know that it is only by yearning for unity that they will acquire peace and a good life. This is what they feel in their desires. Eventually, both will reach the same state, as all the desires that are under the Parsa rise, which means that they are incorporated in the Light that is above the Parsa (figure 2).
This is our future existence, our next dimension, the upper world. Humanity thus is divided into two parts, and each part has its own method of connection.
For one part, it is the method of unity that increases the yearning upward in order to draw the Upper Light and clearly discover the Upper Light, the Creator. The other part of humanity that simply yearns for a better life and to escape sufferings should be given a method of unity that it can fulfill so that the two parts will reach one whole.
So, unity, accepting the integral method and fulfilling it, is very important for the world today. We must understand how much humanity needs it and disseminate it, the highlights of the parts of the wisdom of Kabbalah that are suitable for the masses. We must teach them the same way that we teach children. After all, we don’t teach children deep wisdom, but by bringing them examples, we show them what is good for them to the extent that they can understand it and use it.
The method of the unity of creation is meant for the Creator to be revealed in it. He will be revealed in masses through us.
It is through us (red arrows in figure 1) that the Upper Light will be conveyed to them. This is what the “Preface to The Book of Zohar” tells us.
The dissemination of the integral method is also necessary in Europe, in a continent that has been through so much tension since it is more developed than other parts of the world, and the pressure of the multilateral crisis is so seriously felt in it.
If we can correct the crisis here and somehow promote the wisdom of human unity in a way that is suitable for the masses, which means in the form of the integral education and integral cooperation, it, first of all, will help us advance.
Thus, we will bring the Creator great contentment since we correct His shattered vessels, and the One who is the goal of creation can be revealed in these corrected vessels. So, the integral method is very important for everyone. We develop it for children, adults, and the elderly. We give courses and hold workshops and different events for the general public. We think that it is also very important for us since, if we don’t engage in it, we, Bnei Baruch, will not be allowed to advance since we have only received it as a down payment on condition that we think about the rest of the world.

The Situation In Europe Is Reminiscent Of The Days Of Hitler

In the News (riafan.ru): “The Ombudsman for Human Rights in the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the tolerance shown by the West regarding the appearance of anti-Semitism, Nazism and xenophobia has become the reason for the renewed departure of the Jews from the European nations today.
“The situation is developing on a large scale and is already close to a critical situation. Human rights activists warn specifically that anti-Semitism has become the reason for the flight of the Jews from the nations of the European Union to Israel. The West, together with neo-Nazism, is reminiscent of the 1930s in Germany during the last century.
“During the time of Hitler and the Nazi regime, the Jews had nowhere to flee, while the tolerance to the appearance of xenophobia and Nazism of the governments and many Western powers led to the deaths of millions of people. The politicians of the European Union and the United States must remember the lessons of history and not help in falsifying history for lying scientists and the rest of the extremists.”
My Comment: I think that everything is happening according to the plan of the general egoistic development of humanity, which must bring a wave of anti-Semitism and general mutual hatred. The people of Israel will be the focus of this universal hatred. This appearance of egoism as total evil is necessary for activating pressure on the Jews, forcing them to implement the method of uniting humanity and in this unity, the discovery of the Creator.

Pesach And The Night Of The Exodus

The beginning of this post is in: Passover Is A Reminder Of The Future
The maturation of the attribute of Moses in a person and in the nation leads us to a direct confrontation with Pharaoh. The Torah describes these states as the ten plagues of Egypt, the ten plagues of the ego, with the demand: “Let my people go.” They develop on the background of powerlessness and, at the same time, a desperate need to break free.
The Haggadah tells us about this internal night: “How is this night different from all the other nights?” In Egypt we had to exit the quagmire of self-love and we turn and move quickly upward without any power to unite as yet but with the power to escape.
Everyone tries to escape the persecutions, the internal disputes and conflicts. Thus we find ourselves further away from Egypt until we reach Mt. Sinai where we can complete what we have started.
This is how Pharaoh, the ego, pushes us to a new level of love. Eventually, all of humanity will have to rise to this level, but we are the first to do so. It is the lab of the Jewish nation, an essential phase in its formation.

Seven Years Of Preparation For Escape

The “…seven years of great plenty…” (Genesis 41:29) are given to a person so that he can organize all the conditions of advancement for himself.   I try to be in bestowal, in connection with the group. I carry out actions and maintain various conditions. In the meantime, my evil inclination is not revealed. It is revealed, but on a human level, not on a spiritual level. Only after I prepare myself well do the “…seven years of famine…” (Genesis 41:30) begin. They don’t come just like that by chance, but rather as a result of a person’s effort.
A new king arises in Egypt. This means that I begin to identify that my desire, my nature, is evil. Until then, I didn’t think so. I didn’t understand that this was so. I heard that the ego is evil, and this is clear to everyone. However, I thought that I advanced, that I wanted to attain spirituality, and I didn’t understand that my nature is the evil inclination.
I, myself, must determine, recognize, that my entire nature, everything that is in me, is evil. It makes no difference what characteristic I pick.
But we are not talking about the desire itself, about the material, but about the intention. This means that I must understand and gradually reveal that the intention for every desire or all of my habits is the opposite of spirituality.
Seven years of famine is a critical understanding of the seven years of plenty. Now, I can examine and see that in truth there is not even one single characteristic within me with whose help it is possible to advance. Everything is under the control of an intention for the sake of reception. This is the work during the period of the seven years of famine.
However, I see this after I approach the Light, the Creator. I understand and feel what the spiritual world is more and more, meaning the intention for the sake of bestowal. There is a point in me called Moses that is connected to the force of bestowal. Thanks to that, I know that a force like this exists in the world.
Basically, I find it within me and not in other dimensions. This is my inner space, but, in the meantime, I don’t see it, I don’t identify it.
If I want to build an intention for the sake of bestowal on my desires that are found under the control of the intention “for the sake of reception,” under the dominance of Pharaoh—in other words, to have the Creator rule over them—this is called moving from slavery in Egypt to becoming a servant of the Creator. I see how difficult this is and that it is even impossible because in every desire and thought in mind and heart I am totally an egoist. I didn’t think this before!
Now, I constantly try to act for the sake of bestowal and see that everything goes out for the sake of reception. This is called the children of Israel passing through the 49 gates ofTuma’a (Impurity).
This is revealed to a person slightly, gradually, so as not to give him despair and so he would surrender. It is up to him to continue to check again and again, until everything is clarified to the end, and he would see that there is nothing in him that belongs to the sacred. So, his prayer will be complete, and his scream will be a true scream.
Only then will this be called MAN (prayer), and not before then, and help will come from above, which is called spiritual birth, the exodus from Egypt. Immediately, all at once, I will receive the ability to leave the dominance of the intention for the sake of reception that is called Pharaoh. I leave the control of Pharaoh and begin to acquire an intention for the sake of bestowal, and it is clear that this intention is clothed in the desires, in the characteristics, that were previously in me.
In the beginning, I only was preparing and had to be in a state of the “children of Israel,” in the immature state, in the right line (Kav Yamin) and even the middle line (Kav Emtzai). It is up to me to conquer Egypt, and I begin to be connected to it, in the meantime without understanding that this is the Egyptian slavery, and after that, the true Egypt is revealed to me with the seven years of famine, and then I get the power to escape. It is because I invested all effort in the right line, as it is written, “He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again…” (Job 20:15).

The Wisdom Of Ascent

Question: The modern Israeli society suffers from divisiveness. People feel that they are strangers to each other, really to the point of loathing and hatred. Sometimes, you simply want someone to disappear, board an airplane with your family and depart forever.
Answer: This is what we felt at the time of the Egyptian exile. This is the slavery when the ego dominates us, “plays” with us more strictly, and creates relationships like these among us.
As a result, we find ourselves in a position where we simply have no where to go. Today, some still think that they can flee somewhere to another country, but nothing will help.
Question: So, Israel will become a boiling pressure cooker in which people are locked up, totally unable to tolerate each other?
Answer: Right, that is how it was in the past and it is what will also happen in the future. There will be no other choice for us besides attaining unity. In addition, being unable to find the exit, we will agree that unity is possible only above the hatred.
A Bridge Above The Abyss
Question: The chasms that divide the people have taken shape and crystallized for years. Today the impression is that it is impossible to build bridges over them. Is it possible to forget all of the differences and insults? Is it possible to take control over the negative potential?
Answer: It is possible. I don’t ask you who and what you are, to what community or party you belong. It’s nothing like that. I know only one thing: I am with you, we are with everyone, we need to be together, and this is what I am going on. Certainly, we are different, opposed. We even hate each other. All of this is completely unimportant. Rather, what is important is only one thing: We must begin to connect and unite between us.
We demonstrate this connection and unity through workshops where we sit very different people, strangers, reflecting the entire social spectrum. Let’s take one representative from each party, sit them down together and arrange a workshop and you will see that even in such a mixed composition, they will suddenly discover ways of connecting. They would discover this on condition: that no one tramples on the others and foments his hatred in this ground. On the contrary, each is ready to unite and connect with the others above all the previous thoughts and desires.
So, we actually realize this, and in the center of the circle some kind of new force is revealed, warmth, mutual understanding, an ability to support and maintain a mutual connection. This is the second fundamental force latent in nature itself, the power of love. It is not the love that breaks out between a man and woman, but the same force that penetrates through interpersonal relationships.
Steps Forward
Today, we are in the dimension of hatred and egoism. I do not tolerate others; I always search for superiority above them and want to see them below me, under my control.
But, it is impossible to continue this way. We have reached a point in our development where egoism is devouring us from within. It won’t let us live as before, neither the people of Israel nor humanity as a whole. So, for the first time in history, the wisdom of Kabbalah has been revealed to the world. Its function is to teach us how, under new conditions and in spite of the opposition, we can hold and maintain a good, mutual connection.

The First To Receive The Religion Of Bestowal

Baal HaSulam, “The Last Generation”: It is a fact that Israel are the most hated nation in the world, either because of their religion, because of their race or because of capitalism or communism, or cosmopolitan reasons, etc. Since the hate precedes all the reasons and each one deals with his hate according to his own psychology, there is no other way but to bring the international altruistic communism, the religion of bestowal to all the nations. It is Israel that has to accept the international altruistic communism first and be a symbol showing all the beauty and goodness in this regime.
Israel should be the example for everyone, and thus we can prevent the spread of evil in the world. If we had tried to do so since the days of the first Aliyah (immigration) to the land of Israel onward, we would certainly be in a totally different state today and all of history would have also followed a totally different course all over the world.

What Is “Repentance”?

Rabash, “Letter 66″: And indeed we do say in the PassoverHaggadah: “From the start our ancestors were idol worshippers and now we approach the Omnipresent to serve Him” and so forth.
To understand the idea of teaching us what they were before, we have to explain this through ethics. A person must know when he is involved with the idea of the departure of a person from the Egyptian exile, we see that all of theMitzvot (precepts) depend upon this concept, for with all of these things we say: “A recollection of the Exodus from Egypt.”
All of the Mitzvot are corrections of the desire to receive in small portions that can be implemented only after the person rises above the Machsom (barrier). After he passes through the Machsom, he begins to pass through the parts of the desire to receive above the Machsom.
What Is “Repentance”
First of all, the person himself passes through the Machsom and transforms his desire to receive into “for the sake of bestowal,” and after that he turns downward and elevates desire after desire. All of this activity is called repentance, in other words, he returns the desire to receive to an intention of for the sake of bestowal. Every acton like this is called a Mitzvah and is done by the Torah, meaning by the Ohr Makif (Surrounding Light) that transforms the corrections into possibilities. The first action is called the Exodus from Egypt.
When I am under the Machsom, I don’t have a connection with the Light. However, above the Machsom, I already have Light, the power of bestowal, and I can use it for advancement and correction. I have the consciousness, feeling, intelligence, and power as a capable, mature person. I transform myself into an expert on correction on condition that there is Light in me. Light is the power of bestowal that is acting in me, and with its help, I can connect more and more new desires, one after another, and correct them. I turn to a higher level and receive additional power from it for the lower part that I want to correct, correcting it and connecting it to me.
In this process there are three partners: the Creator – the origin of the power, me – the one who wants to correct, and desire – the place that I want to correct.
With the Light that is in me, thanks to my connection with the Creator, I see exactly what is ready for correction in me and ask for this power from Him. I work with Him as a partner, for I am no longer found under the Machsom. Rather, I am together with Him, feeling Him. Therefore, I begin to clarify how it is possible to work with the damaged desire, how it is possible to awaken and elevate it. This means that I want to transform it from for the sake of reception to for the sake of bestowal. So, I ask for that.
I don’t get any pleasure from this activity myself while I feel it as my desire. For me, it becomes more precious than my desire—as it is written, “Make that His will should be your will” (Pirkei Avot 2:4)—like a mother does with her child. I wrap His desire within my desire and that is how I begin to elevate it, asking the Creator to correct it for me, as I would for my baby.
Then, I get the required power, intelligence, and feeling. After all, I don’t know how to correct what is below for this is a completely separate system, the AHP that is built within me, the spiritual womb.

Question: Is it important for people who are engaged with dissemination to have passed through the Machsom?
Answer: It doesn’t seem to me that the person who has passed through the Machsomwill succeed more in the external dissemination. I am not sure that Rabash would have been more successful in dissemination than the average person in our group.
So, Baal HaSulam writes that it is even possible to pay professional people monetary compensation. After all, it’s necessary to get as close to the people as possible. Certainly, it is clear that they would need to know the direction, the purpose, a bit of the explanations, but not too deeply, only according to the level of the people to whom they turn.

The Time Of The Exterior Effect Is Over

Question: We cannot take an example from the group because I don’t see anyone around me that deserves it. The only person I can take an example from is the teacher. Is it correct to do so or not?
Answer: This is not correct. You need to make efforts to see the friends in a nice way, but you look at them in an incorrect form, according to your idea, they are stupid and lazy.
You describe them in such a way, otherwise the ego and your pride will not let you live. You will be disappointed all the time because your friends are higher than you, and there are those that already have crossed the barrier (Machsom), and you haven’t achieved anything. If you would see the truth, you wouldn’t be able to stand it. Therefore, you are not shown it, and you can disrespect all the others. You have no possibility of seeing them in their real form and receiving aspiration. You cannot work toward the teacher as you work toward the friends. Your work toward the friend is to make him great in your eyes.
Question: But you said that if the student does not adhere to his teacher, he will not learn anything.
Answer: But what exactly does one need to learn? One learns from the teacher (Rav)how to adhere to the friends in order to reveal the Creator between them. The teacher is the guide that points to the direction to go. He does not call you to come to him; rather, he tells you to go in a certain direction! This is his role.
In our days we have reached a new and special situation that does not have a holy leader as was customary with the nation through generations because today the entire nation must reveal the Creator.
People need to be directed to the Creator and not worship their leader. This was once, but now completely different times have arrived. Before, there was no other way. The nation needed some leader that would take care of them so that a person would know that someone great prayed for him and would arrange his life.
However, today times are completely different because now we all must recognize the truth at least a bit. Someone at the level of first grade and someone at the level of fourth grade and someone at the level of university and someone at the level of a professor—it doesn’t matter which level—each one needs to attain the truth somehow.
We already exited those days, and the past will not return. There will be no other leaders for the spiritual correction of the world because everyone needs to reveal and know the Creator. Therefore, there is no place for Hassidism because, as it is written, “…for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them…”
One comes to adhere to the Rav by constant and internal devotion and not by ritualistic actions. There is no room for that in our times. Or, you perform virtues, use amulets, or you help people to understand what the work of God is for them. The world needs correction, and for that we all need to work according to the same system, one for all.
The time of exterior effects is over because everything is concentrated internally. Of course for the simple person it is hard to stay on the road if he does not have the help of the influence of a “holy man,” including all his exterior signs. A person needs someone to take care of him like a big and important father, but this deflects him from his path. Therefore, there will be no more exterior effects because with them it is possible to attract those that are not capable of working on their correction.

Escape From The Angel Of Death

The Passover Haggadah tells us that a person has the opportunity to plan his life and become its master. It explains the goal that he must achieve, the means of accomplishing this, and what he needs to change within himself. It gives us all the details.
The Passover Haggadah, in the first place, gives a person the means to understand what his life is today and how much it is limited and dead.
It reveals how one can make a breakthrough and escape this dead life and rise to the state above our current nature in order to achieve the perfect level of freedom.
This is called liberation from the angel of death because we rise above death.
Question: What does it mean to rise above death?
Answer: It means to live an eternal life.
Question: Does this mean that I will never die? I have not seen a single person who has lived forever.
Answer: Only bodies die. But we discover another entity in ourselves, which is the inner human being, my “I.” This inner “I” is removed from my body and does not feel death.
Anyone who really wants to obtain freedom and eternal life can learn how to realize this using the wisdom of Kabbalah. It is quite possible, as it is written: “You will see your world in your lifetime,” that is, we are able to reveal in it the upper force, the Creator. Everyone is able to achieve this since the doors are open to everyone—only a desire is required.

Joseph Will Bring You To Egypt, And Moses Will Bring You Out From It

Question: Where do the “seven years of satiety” end and the “seven years of hunger” begin?
Answer: Seven years of satiety belongs to spirituality and not to corporeality. In the beginning of the study a person is happy that he found the friends, the study, the teacher, the goal. All of it illuminates to him and that is why he is happy, full of strength, and ready for all the heroic actions.
But after that he must understand in an emotional manner that his progress depends on connections with the others. Seven years of satiety in exile is not a simple state. He didn’t even enter Egypt. Seven years of satiety begins when a person understands that he must progress and meet all the conditions indicated by the Kabbalists and agree with them.
He is willing to connect with others, willing to study, to disseminate with the understanding that only if he reveals unity inside himself will he find the spiritual world. This means that Joseph brings his brothers, the sons of Jacob, to Egypt.
There is no other way. There are no different paths because there is only one law of equivalence of the Light with the desire. Everything is determined by the four phases of direct light and nothing else can be.
Question: If I am now satisfied with everything and I am in the period of seven years of satiety, what should I do: to want it to be over as fast as possible and that the seven years of hunger will come?
Answer: To yearn only for realization of what is written, that we will find ourselves in our unity that comes in the study, in dissemination, and all of it directed to bring contentment to the Creator.
Think only about the connection, and Joseph will bring you to Egypt. Joseph is the point of connection between us and the Sefira of Yesod. When after all your search and experiences to avoid connection, you will agree and will start to connect, meaning correct your soul, then you will find yourself in Egypt.
The brothers of Joseph come to Egypt only when the famine starts in the land of Canaan; it means that they cannot progress. Each one of them grew, but the future growth is possible only thanks to the connection.
It is similar to what is happening with our world that grew in our ego, achieved full abundance, but it is not understood what to do next. Now only the general connection can save the world, but we see how difficult it is to reach it.
We will need to go through the state of famine in the world, also in the physical aspect, the corporeal, and the spiritual. Then it will be ready to connect. The descent to Egypt is a descent for connection. And this is not desirable for a person’s inner qualities and for all the people. The brothers agree to accept Joseph’s advice but with many doubts; they have many fears.
They don’t want to enter Egypt because it obliges them to be one nation, one group, one family, united, because they will live among the Egyptians, meaning, we must be ready to work so the connection will flow from the desire to bestow.
Yesod is a point that bestows upon Malchut and can bestow only when all the previous qualities and all the Sefirot connect to her. Let’s ask ourselves if we are in such a state or not? Do we want to connect in order to be the bestowers, that this is the field whereMalchut will be revealed between us?
It is spoken about the group called “the sons of Jacob” that they go and progress towards bestowal, they don’t want to enter Egypt, and therefore, they must enter such states.
But the goal must remain constant through the whole path, and it is to reach bestowal, mutual connection; in it we will reveal the Creator and then we will feel how to bring Him contentment. And by that we will reach adhesion with Him.
About these questions I can answer only one thing—do the effort in order to exit your Egypt and you will see that everything will succeed.

How To Win A Man’s Heart

Question: I would like to ask about how to win a man’s heart, how can I buy his heart?
Answer: A woman begins by letting a man understand that she loves him, admires him for being great, clever, and a hero. She encourages him like a small child.
A child and a grown man are exactly the same when it comes to this. They should constantly be given the feeling that they are strong, great, and clever. The only one in the world!
Thus, a woman ties him to her, like a puppy with a leash. He will follow her wherever she goes because he needs her admiration like a breath of air. This is how you tie a man.
In addition, she begins to gradually tame him, by teaching and showing him in different ways what she likes and what she doesn’t. He is constantly interested in getting a confirmation that she encourages, loves, and appreciates him. So he should understand that he will receive all that only if he treats her the way she likes; I am revealing all the secrets to you now…
A woman begins to convey to a man her impressions of him based on the way he behaves towards her. Thus, she teaches him how to treat her by showing him what pleases her, which in return invokes actions on her part that will be pleasant for him.
Question: How can I make him feel great and at the same time not annul myself? How can I make him feel that he is the king as long as I am the queen?
Answer: This is too difficult and too obliging. A man doesn’t want a queen by his side. She needs to appreciate him without any preconditions, like a mother treats her son. A mother always loves and appreciates her son regardless of how he behaves.
If a woman tells a man that he is great, he is really great and not on condition that she is great. If he is clever, it isn’t because she is clever. Her appreciation of him has to be independent, but no one will tell him the words that she tells him and so he will be tied to her.
Then she begins to set conditions. If he does something wrong she already shows her dissatisfaction and her face saddens. He is very sensitive to her mood since he wants to see her appreciation each time and to feel that he is a man, macho, and if not strong then clever and if not clever then a hero.
If she shows him that he saddens her by his attitude and therefore she cannot appreciate him and expresses her impression like he is used to, he will begin to look for a way to win her admiration in order to keep on receiving her continuous praise.
A man needs compliments more than a woman does. This is how you get him used to the right and good attitude. Then he really gets used to it and treats the woman the way she wants and according to what she likes—proper treatment, respect, and appreciation. He doesn’t actually appreciate her but her attitude towards him. This is how we buy each other’s heart and that’s the only thing we need.
So we don’t need anything special in advance for love to flourish in a family. We simply need to feel good being with one another, to see one another, to touch, to eat the food that the other has prepared, to court one another. Everything else is established as a result of a game.

In Exile From Connection

Question: A person should feel the darkness of Egypt as an intolerable state so that he would want to exit it. What should he do so as not to simply escape the unpleasant feeling but to accept the domination of the Creator?
Answer: According to our nature we are not able to remain in an unpleasant state, unless we have no choice: if someone pressures me and holds me. I want to run away but can’t, so I remain in the unpleasant condition. This can be physical when someone holds me to give me an injection, for example, like we do with babies. Or society can put pressure on me, and then having no choice I do what is required of me. That is, I am in a condition that I suffer, but I am being pressured and cannot escape.
By nature I run away from anything that I don’t like. This is the desire to enjoy. If I feel even “one gram” of discomfort, I want to get away from it. However, there are different compelling circumstances, problems, and calculations that force me to continue to suffer, having no choice not because I wish to, but because of the pressure that is put on me. This pressure is called exile; I am under pressure and remain in that state and suffer.
You are asking is the opposite: How can I feel greater suffering so I could feel I am in the Egyptian darkness, in such great evil, so I will want to exit it? Then it seems to be no problem if I put myself into a state of suffering.
But I can’t bring myself to such a state of suffering; it must be justified somehow: by public pressure or a cause that illuminates from afar, like a gift or reward. If I am a desire to receive, I cannot cause myself harm unless I will receive a reward that exceeds the pressure I experience or the efforts I make in return. How can I bring myself to feel the exile in Egypt?
First, I bring myself to the exile in Egypt in different ways that are not related to spirituality. This means that I don’t inflict pain upon myself or live a hard life. I cannot do that. Egypt must be a very special state for me in which I suffer because I cannot connect with the other shattered parts of the one soul because Pharaoh dominates us. This state pressures me and there is nothing I can do. I cannot get rid of its presence in the connection between us despite all my efforts. This is called Egypt when I am ready to give anything to kill Pharaoh, to get him out of my system, or to rise above him.
There are many inner discernments here: inside him, outside him, why does it say “Let my people go,” why is it impossible to be free in Egypt, how do we come out of Egypt, and why do we take the vessels with us and only Pharaoh remains in Egypt? Indeed, nothing remains in Egypt except Pharaoh. Everything else is taken out of Egypt. These desires die there or are taken out.
All these definitions have nothing to do with earthly sufferings, but are about one thing only, the connection between us, in order to discover the Creator in it and thus delight Him. After all, the Creator wants us to discover Him. Therefore, we must work continuously on this point in the group and feel that the only thing we lack is connection. If you simply want to exit your ego (and perhaps this is indeed what you want), it is only because it brings you many troubles. Then, you try to switch the small ego to a bigger, more sophisticated ego, but you still want to work for Pharaoh.
Working outside Pharaoh is possible only if you yearn for connection in order to discover the Creator’s attribute and thus delight Him when you take on His form and wish to resemble Him. You must examine this point carefully.
