Key Difference Between Kabbalah And Religion

laitman_214Question: What is the key difference between Kabbalah and religion?
Answer: Sciences of this world perceive nature with our material sensors. Therefore the space that surrounds us looks the way we regard it through our five organs of perception: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.
There is nothing we understand beyond this point. Our world consists only of the impressions that are given to us by our organs of perception that are enhanced by devices that were invented to widen or deepen the range of our sensors.
We don’t even suspect that besides our regular material sensors some other types of perception organs can be created. We don’t need a sixth finger on the hand, and therefore we don’t feel we might want to have it.
Similarly, we don’t realize that we require an additional sensor. That’s why we are placed in a “box” through which we perceive only this world, limited by our material sense organs.
Kabbalah studies the upper world that exists beyond our sensors; it allows us to develop five organs of perception that are opposite to the ones we already have. They are built not on our egoism, but on true bestowal and love. We can develop them without stepping outside ourselves, but absolutely on the same research principles as in our world.
A Kabbalist is a scientist, a researcher. A Kabbalist doesn’t believe in spells or mysterious phenomena. The most important condition in Kabbalah is the study of the facts that can be proven or tested.
Kabbalists study their sensations, explore them, get each other’s advice, and come to a unified conclusion. Only then does their research become a law.
Religion is faith, believing in something rather than doing research. Therefore Kabbalah is not a religion: not with Judaism, Christianity, or Islam. Kabbalah is the foundation of science. Ancient philosophers and medieval scholars wrote about Kabbalah as the source of all disciplines.
Question: Why should we believe that Kabbalah reveals the upper force? Any religion states the same.
Answer: Religion doesn’t reveal the upper force; they only say that people have to believe in it. Kabbalah brings a person to a state where one attains the upper world that is opposite to our egoism and allows one to exist in it.
Kabbalah discloses the space in which an alternative universe exists – the inverse of this world, the anti-world. When we say “anti-world” we do not mean the “material” it is made of but the internal state of a human being that is able to go against one’s will. Our desire is egoistic, whereas, the spiritual anti-world is altruistic. Mirror laws rule there.
Religion says “believe”; Kabbalah says: “Do not believe anybody or anything. Test everything yourself.”
Question: What makes Kabbalah a science?
Answer: The scientific method of researching the upper world makes it a science. If we explore this world with the help of our five material sensors, then by creating and developing five new organs of perception, called KeterHochmaBinaZeir Anpin, andMalchut, in Kabbalah, we can explore the higher realm called the upper world.
The upper world is investigated by clear scientific laws. Therefore Kabbalah is a science. It is not based on faith, spells, conventions, or symbols. It doesn’t bow to anything!

The Soul And The Upper Worlds

laitman_232_10Question: How do Kabbalists communicate with the upper world?
Answer: Kabbalists exist in it, however, not as people, but as souls. After all, a Kabbalist is a person who has transformed his egoistic desires into altruistic, which are called his soul.
soul is not something ghostly descending like a cloud from somewhere. It is not connected with the body. These are desires directed towards love and bestowal.
A person can sense the upper world, the system of the governing forces, within his corrected desires called the soul. The one who fills this world with pleasure is called the Creator. Everything is very concrete–in one place.
Question: And what is the Kabbalist doing in this upper world?
Answer: He is enjoying it.

How Can We Improve Our Lives?

Laitman_133Question: You speak about the upper system that controls our life. Will it help me succeed and improve my life and my fate if I begin to study the wisdom of Kabbalah and learn this system more deeply? Will I be able to control my fate?
Answer: On the whole, the wisdom of Kabbalah allows a person to discover what is going on and how to improve his life.
Then, with everything that he has learned, he can be on several levels of mutual cooperation, or he may know what happens and remain passive as he continues to flow with the current of life. But at least he acquires some peace of mind and understanding of why things happen, that everything has its own account, and where everything stems from. This is a great support for a person.
There are many such people. We cannot say that everyone reaches the level at which they can manage their life after studying the wisdom of Kabbalah.
There are those who don’t settle for passive study and who advance into greater depths. They actually can attain a state in which they improve their lives and manage it by themselves.
We are interested, of course, that people will advance to this level and that we will have such students who advance until the ultimate goal, but it all depends on the person himself.

How Can We Get Rid Of Aggression And Rage?

laitman_622_01Question: Why do I sometimes have outbursts of unwarranted aggression and rage toward people?
Answer: It is because you feel that you are an egoist, and you are unwilling to accept it internally.
This aggression gradually will switch to love of people, but it will take a long time and many years of studying the wisdom of Kabbalah. So I recommend you start now since, otherwise, you will not be able to get rid of this aggression.
You are the one who suffers from the fact that you are so aggressive toward people. You hate people and relate to them harshly, and hate yourself because of this attitude. You don’t want to be in this position, but you cannot get rid of it either.

The Kabbalists And Their Students

laitman_528_04Question: Are particular skills and abilities required for attaining the wisdom of Kabbalah?
Answer: No, only a desire is needed.
Question: Are there people in our world who have reached the upper world?
Answer: Certainly, today in our world there is a certain number of people who have attained the spiritual world. In addition, many are engaged in our system and are on the way to attainment.
In the previous generation, these were people who studied the wisdom of Kabbalahunder the guidance of my teacher Rabash.
Before then, there were people who studied Kabbalah under the guidance of his father Baal HaSulam. And even earlier, if we go deeply into history, there were great Kabbalists from whom remain great writings for us. They all were involved with the discovery of the system of management and the way to use it in the way most beneficial for all of humanity.
There were even hidden Kabbalists who didn’t write books and didn’t have students. Their role was to create contact between our level and the higher level. In the sources, they are called the 36 hidden Tzaddikim (Righteous Ones). However, 36 is a symbolic number.

The Terrorist Within Us

laitman_293Question: What is your attitude toward Arabs?
Answer: I don’t relate to anyone or anything in any specific manner. I see everyone as puppets. Even the one who draws a knife on me is managed by upper forces. When someone threatens to kill you, you should kill him first, and so I have no choice but to neutralize him.
However, once I catch him and tie him down, I must think about how to connect and unite the Jews. Then, I will be able to untie the Arab, and he will dance and rejoice with us.
Question: Does this mean that if you kill him, you don’t solve the problem?
Answer: This has never been a solution to any problem. But if your life is in danger, it says in the Torah that, when someone threatens to kill you, you should kill him first.
Question: How long do you think this conflict will go on?
Answer: It will continue until we correct it by the connection and unity among us.
The conflict refers to the conflict inside us. The terrorists and saboteurs are inside us. They are our desires that want to destroy the connection between us. If we destroy our internal damagers, then they will disappear on the outside.

About Personal Conflicts

laitman_549_02Question: How do you solve personal conflicts with people?
Answer: I know that many don’t agree with me, but I am always willing to listen to anyone. I see that people don’t understand me and this arouses a feeling of hostility and rejection in them.
But I don’t feel any hatred towards them, and this is in something that corrects me.
According to what I am learning about the disclosure of the upper management, and accordingly my ability to change, I change.
I justify people who don’t understand me; I am not coming to them from above. I truly understand their nature.

“Do Not Trust Yourself Until You Die”

laitman_224Everything that happened with Korach and his companions was compelled to happen because the sons of Israel covered certain spiritual steps, reached the state named “Korach” and had to continue their advancement.
This is when Korach’s rebellion took place after which he and his companions were “ingested” by the earth (i.e., new egoistic desires were identified).
When a soul reaches a state where it is impossible to believe that any egoistic desires can be present in it, they suddenly appear.
It’s amazing how things happen in nature: a person seems absolutely pure, however it’s enough to add ten grams of egoism to his soul and everything is soiled. This situation reappears at every level. It is said: “Do not trust yourself until you die,” i.e., until one’s egoism vanishes.
Everything described in the Torah should be understood as internal actions of a human being that have to be identified, correctly evaluated, dealt with, and as a result, we should rise to the level of bestowal and love through our surroundings to theCreator.
Question: Is it possible to jump over certain spiritual steps?
Answer: No, it is impossible! By doing so, we would be robbing ourselves. One has to slowly and carefully explore one’s own soul and accurately calculate how much one can receive in order to become similar to the Creator. This is what the chapter “Korach” is about.

Levels Of Spiritual Work

laitman_232_04The Torah, “Numbers,” 18:25 – 18:29: The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to the Levites and tell them, ‘When you take the tithe from the children of Israel which I have given you from them as your inheritance, you shall set aside from it a gift for the Lord, a tithe of the tithe.
Your gift shall be considered for you as grain from the threshing-floor and as the produce of the vat. So shall you too set aside a gift for the Lord from all the tithes you take from the children of Israel, and you shall give thereof the Lord’s gift to Aaron the priest. From all your gifts, you shall set aside every gift of the Lord, from its choicest portion, that part of it which is to be consecrated.'”
The sacred part of the offering to the Lord is one or two hundredths parts of the total tithe.
The issue of tithing is explored in many Talmud treatises because it is a calculation that a person must produce in one’s desires by comparing them with the Creator’sproperties of bestowal.
Therefore, while correcting our desires, we should categorize and split them in levels that we can work with: bestowing for the sake of bestowal, rejecting and transferring everything we have to others.
There are levels at which we still receive, but it is done as if we bestow. For example, when one’s life is dedicated to the quality of bestowal, even if one continues receiving in order to support one’s existence it is not considered to be receiving. There are many nuances in this matter.
The Torah speaks of correction at still, vegetative, animate, and speaking levels. In this world, correction at the first three levels occurs when people deal with plants and animals. In spiritual work, all three levels are inside each of us separately and in all of us together, in the common soul.
The fourth level is the level of “man,” (Adam) the speaking level. This state already includes such notions as slaves, foreigners, the people of Israel, Levites, and the Cohen and the interaction between them.

No Knowledge – No Faith

laitman_549_02Question: I cannot go above reason. Doubts and concerns “drill” my brain… Eventually, I find answers to my questions, but who knows if they are correct.
My question is: What are the cases where I should go above reason? Never in my life would I not trust you, dear teacher, just like that, not agreeing with everything you say, but extremely speculatively. And where I do not understand, such as Talmud EseSefirot, I’ll simply trust your words because when it comes to things that I do not comprehend, it is as you say, anyway. It is faith above reason?
Answer: No, because when there is no knowledge there is no faith that can be built “above reason.”
[169193]

Once Again About The Soul

laitman_610_2Question: What is the soul and how is it born?
Answer: A soul is a certain space inside a human being in which one senses the upper world.
In an ordinary person living in this world, there isn’t a soul; there is only a point, an embryo, a drop of semen, from which develops the speaking level.
If one starts developing him or herself, submitting oneself to the Upper Light’sinfluence, the Light transforms the drop into a soul that develops from ourReshimo (spiritual informational record).
Question: Does a soul have a gender?
Answer: No. There are various modifications of the soul, but it doesn’t really matter. Each one of us has a soul. But at the same time, there is one common soul for everyone.
Question: How do we calculate the number of souls? Is it possible that is an excess of them?
Answer: What does “an excessive of souls” mean? The soul does not exist apart from a human being. If one develops it internally, then one has a soul. If not, one doesn’t have a soul. Each one of us is granted a chance to cultivate a soul and feel the next level of existence, the future world.
Question: What do souls do after death?
Answer: Souls do not die and have nothing to do with life or death of a physical body.

How To Convey The Knowledge Of The Spiritual World?

Laitman_060_02Question: Why can’t the Kabbalists describe the spiritual world in such a way that we can understand that it is worth aspiring to it?
Answer: The problem is that it is impossible to describe the spiritual world because none of its properties or sensations exist in our current desires. The laws of the spiritual world do not coincide with the laws of our world.
Therefore, Kabbalists describe the upper world using a special language, thelanguage of branches, which is not intended to provide an explanation because we still cannot even imagine this world, or depict it in our egoistic properties.
For example, your computer has one program and suddenly you receive an email composed in a different program that you don’t have. Whatever you do, you won’t be able to receive this message.
Instead, it will open as confusing information in the form of various characters. You will not understand what was sent to you. You will not be able to absorb it or receive it in your computer.
The same is happening here. The Kabbalists tell us something about the upper world, but we look at them like an animal looks at the human. In order to understand them, one needs to obtain the property of the upper world, and then it becomes clear what they convey.

Discovering The Management System Of The World

laitman_254_01Question: There are many different currents in the world. Why should we believe you?
Answer: Don’t believe anyone, not even yourself! On the other hand, come and explore why and how the world works.
When you attain the proper, independent, and totally objective revelation, then you will begin to understand the general system of management and balance of the world.Kabbalah is the science that reveals this system.
Today, if you are certain that you can’t do anything, and all of humanity is convinced about this, all of the great ones of this world, then you are invited to uncover the system of control. This is real and completely clear, without anyone believing anything.
First of all, you need to correctly configure your conceptual apparatus. The study of Kabbalah opens these possibilities for you.
You begin to understand how they are limited, why you only perceive our world, and how to expand the range of your sensitivity to feel the upper world. The upper world is the system of management of our world, and you learn how to influence it.
You discover that in the world today are people that Abraham chose in ancient Babylon. These are people who sense the yearning for the discovery of the upper world.
It is not an obligation for them to be Jews. It is all who sense the yearning for correction, the comprehend the purpose of life, who can enter into the feeling of this system and influence it. Only in this way do we bring our lives to a good state.

The Upper World Is A World Of Information

laitman_219_01Question: In modern physics, the law of the conservation of information has become the most fundamental law. If before the main law was the law of the conservation of mass, energy, now it is information.
As a general rule, physics defines information as inversely proportional to entropy, that is, chaos. How is the soul/consciousness associated with this information?
Answer: This information is a clear comprehension of the relationships between the parts of the world we reveal in  Kabbalah.
The perception of the network of forces, their dependence and the interconnections between objects in this network and its connections, is information. Moreover, it is clearly calibrated and constantly changing, spilled from one place to another as in an ocean, between all the particles of the levels of the still, vegetative, animate, and speaking nature.
Information is found in every point of the network of forces, on all the levels that we specify. It aspires to fill the volume by itself, i.e., to transform not into a network but into a ball, a sphere, and when it reaches its full volume, then the creature reaches wholeness. In fact, complete information is what we call the “Creator.”
Everything that exists beyond this, besides knowledge, is a network of interconnections between the creatures that makes it possible for us to discover the information that fills this volume.
The information itself is originally there, in full, and its discovery is only relative to us. It is attained by us to the degree of the expansion of our consciousness, making it possible to discover this network.
In our world we always divide this information into completely different arbitrary sectors: physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, etc., into anything possible. But this indicates only the narrowness and the weakness of our perception.
In fact, information in the spiritual world is not perceived as existing in fragments, in various sciences. It is perceived as a single whole, and so even the perception of a small fragment of it is called the revelation of the Creator. In other words, the law of conservation of information says that in a closed system the amount of information is fixed.
In our world there exists only a weak glimmer of the information that descends from the upper world. Scientists are attracted to it, but they encounter a potentialbarrier between the two worlds.
Question: Is there some kind of feed that is descending from the upper world to our world?
Answer: Without a doubt! Our world is constantly gaining more nourishment from the upper world.
It is set on a particular program and encourages us to further development. If not for this illumination and its manifestation in our world in the form of more and more information, we would not aspire to it. A person cannot even subconsciously be attracted to something that doesn’t exist. So the information comes first and later the awakening of a desire for it.
This means that the physical world is an open system into which knowledge from the outside constantly streams. This contributes to the qualitative development of humanity.
So I hope that more and more Kabbalists will move through the potential barrier(Machsom) between our world and the next level, and this will produce such a good, beneficial connection between those below and above this barrier so that we will mutually help each other transfer more and more people through the barrier, or more precisely, their perceptions.
And then we will understand that even physical bodies actually have no place in our world because this is just one of the subjective feelings of physical existence.

Israel – A Mystical People

laitman_749_02Question: In your opinion, will negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians and the leaders of the Arab nations bring improvement to the situation in Israel?
Not long ago, negotiations were arranged for maintaining the status quo of the Temple Mount, and it was expected that this would bring some calm. However, the next morning, the Arabs carried out three terrorist operations.
Answer: All these talks will lead to nothing. Humanity will not calm down. Our Arab neighbors will not calm down as long as the people of Israel themselves haven’t united between themselves integrally. This is the only solution and means of resolving this conflict.
If we want peace within our borders and security in our nation, we need to achieve unity among the Jewish people themselves. This may seem strange, but nothing else will help.
If we do this, the Arabs will stop their activities because the good relationships between us will be reflected in them and will obligate them to have a good attitude toward us.
Question: Isn’t this like some kind of mysticism?
Answer: Is the anti-Semitism all over the world, the general hatred toward this small people that totals several million people not mystical?
Is it not mystical that such a tiny people has brought culture, education, and all the elements of modern human society to all the peoples? Is it not mysticism that it hasn’t disappeared after thousands of years of exile?
The entire world has become integral and round, acting according to the laws of connection between the forces of right and left, plus and minus, and hot and cold. Everything is in balance, and it is only human beings who act only according to a negative force.
In humanity, there is no positive force! We need a positive force that will balance ourego. The method for awakening the positive force within a person is the method of Kabbalah discovered by Abraham.
He founded his group on its basis by gathering around him those Babylonians who agreed to connect and unite according to the principle of “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18).
That is how Abraham created a group that eventually grew and became the people of Israel. The Jewish people are not based upon an ethnic community like all of the other peoples, but on an ideology, on an idea. We are all different but connected above these differences, as it is written, “…love covers all transgressions” (Proverbs 10:12).
Only thanks to this principle have we existed for all these thousands of years, as soon as we separated, we immediately began to to be killed. In the Scroll of Esther, it is written that Haman, when he was a minister in Babylon, said to the king, “There is a certain people scattered and separate among the peoples … let it be written to destroy them…” (Esther 3:8-9).
So Mordechai came and united the people, which helped them to be saved, and today we again are facing the same need to unite.

The Need For Spiritual Search

Laitman_109Question: How does our reality help us advance in spirituality? Can we consciously pay attention to any signs so that we can advance according to them?
Answer: There is only one sign that clearly shows that a person can begin to engage in attaining the upper world. It is the emergence of the most serious question about the meaning of life and the yearning for the world that will help him know what he lives for. Otherwise, he simply has no reason to live! It isn’t indifference or depression, but a yearning to discover the essence of our existence.
In this state, it seems that a person cannot do anything, “Leave me alone! I don’t want anything.” But this isn’t a descent—although it may be what we expect—but a state in which he is drawn upward toward where he can attain the source of his existence, the source of life.
Question: Will everyone feel the yearning for the search of the meaning of life, for reaching the upper world?
Answer: Gradually, more and more people in each generation feel the need to discover the upper world. Forty years ago when I began studying Kabbalah, very few people were interested in it. And today there are hundreds of thousands. I hope that there will be millions in the near future.
We see this in the number of people who are depressed, use drugs, and are detached from life. These are all signs of the lack of meaning in life.
So I think depression is a normal disease because a person’s physiology is healthy while his psychology, which means the soul, begins to feel the need of spiritual search.
[168546]

Objective Experiments

Question: The starting and ending point of the spiritual path are predetermined. How is it possible to reach the endpoint?
Answer: The fact is that when we attain the wisdom of Kabbalah, we grasp it in our personal internal Kelim (instruments), and even though we are repeating the results of the scientists, the previous Kabbalists who already went through these experiments, we discover them in our own way.
Ultimately, they are identical, yet not identical because here enters the connection between the rigid experiment and psychological inner perception, and this is individual.
Thus, the understanding of a Kabbalist is simultaneously both objective and subjective.
Question: What is the difference between the concept of objectivity in the wisdom of Kabbalah and in conventional science?
Answer: A normal person perceives a scientific experiment outside of himself, on some material, for example, on a screen where he tracks what is happening.
And what the researcher sees, others also observe because all of this can be measured and compared. If it requires special training, it is possible to be taught, and completely the same image will be observed.
It is not important if your observation, of say of a certain glow, is slightly different from the observation of another person. You don’t take this into account.
In Kabbalah, the perception and the attainment happen within a person. And as each one of us is created from a different set of properties, our perception of the revealed field we discover for ourselves.
On the one hand, the gradations and characteristics of this field are identical for everyone; on the other hand, each one perceives them differently within himself. In addition, there is the further possibility to combine these perceptions to reach an even greater external and higher attainment.

The Solution To Terror, Part 5 – The Condition For Attaining Peace

laitman_600_04Comment: You say that the solution to terror should be to strengthen the foundations of the Jewish nation. But I think that terror will stop only when we create two countries between the sea and the Jordan River.
Answer: This isn’t a feasible solution. Even from a perfectly corporeal perspective we see that there is no one we can talk to about peace agreements, not to mention the fact that it is not a solution if we look at things from a higher spiritual level.
We have to take into account that the world is advancing towards unity whether we like it or not. We will eventually have to connect with our Arab neighbors either along the path of the Light, called “I will hasten it,” hastening time, or along the path of sufferings, called “in its time.”
Suppose we were given twenty years along the time axis in order to reach complete peace with the Arabs. Let’s assess our chances realistically: Is it possible to do it in this time span or not? Is there anyone with whom we can reach a peace agreement? Do the Arabs agree to that?
They don’t agree to any of the conditions except that we will also become Moslems and that the Caliphate regime will govern all of the Middle East and the whole world too. Only then will the Arabs put an end to terrorism.
No other solution will satisfy them. We will soon see how this takes place in Europe: Christianity will disappear and instead of the cathedrals and churches there will be mosques.
Therefore, consider whether you want this to happen in Israel or not. If you don’t, we have no other choice but to start implementing the method of the wisdom of Kabbalah. After all, from the Arab’s point of view there cannot be two states here but only one Caliphate.
We should carefully assess whether we have another means to oppose that besides the wisdom of Kabbalah.

The Solution To Terror, Part 4 – A Spring Of Goodness

laitman_936Question: The nation of Israel has never been and never will be united. It is time to wake up from these childish dreams. Your call to unite is nothing more than propaganda. The nation of Israel is so divided that there is no turning back.
Answer: Of course, because the separation of the people has been going on for two thousand years. The Temple was destroyed because of unfounded hatred.
There is no connection between us, only hostility and estrangement. And we don’t even feel how terrible our division is, because our hatred has been so disguised over the past two thousand years that we don’t even feel we hate each other.
The hatred stems from the fact that we come from different peoples that lived in ancient Babylon. This hatred was revealed among the Babylonians in its most extreme, critical form, but then we realized that there is no other choice and that we must unite. This is the reason we gathered around Abraham who taught us the method of unity.
The same thing is happening today. We must fulfill Abraham’s method together, but I am glad the nation of Israel has recognized this inner hatred and can see its true state. We hate one another, and we feel distant from one another. There is no mutual care among us, and there is no power in the world that can correct our situation.
It is a good thing that the truth finally has been revealed to us. We finally have stopped deceiving ourselves, talking enthusiastically about the extraordinary friendship among our people.
I can bring much more convincing evidence to show how unrealistic it is to attain any form of unity among the people of Israel with the means at our disposal. All of our dreams about such unity are baseless, and it is a good thing that there are people who understand that.
But there is another means to attain unity that people don’t know, and I am happy to tell them about it. If we establish a certain unity according to the advice of Kabbalists, we will feel how effective it is and how such actions generate the force of unity.
We spur the source of unity from the inside because, after all, it exists in nature. The positive force exists in nature! We only need to be like it, and then it will burst into this world and gush from the ground like a spring of goodness.

Our Strategy Is The Unity Of The Nation

laitman_629_2Question: I understand that, when you speak about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, you reveal the root of the problem, but if I’m attacked with the intent to kill me, what am I supposed to do?
Answer: You should kill the assailant first, but that doesn’t help solve the conflict. You only temporarily get distance from the problem, but don’t get out of the situation.
After 2,000 years of exile, we were returned to the land of Israel in order to unite and become a single people. Only in this way can we change the world in giving it a new system, a new paradigm, a new view of humanity.
Today, humanity has become integral, global, connected, and completely closed around this small planet. We are experiencing a single system that is mutually dependent, and only our good, mutual relationships can save humanity from destruction.
The correct relationships are found within the Jewish people, and we must reach unity and connection, as it is written, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” It is possible! Only in this way can we become compatible with nature and reach a normal, calm, and good life. Nature doesn’t agree to less than that, and it pushes us to this.
Question: But man who is on the level of this world demands death to the terrorist! He wants to stop the conflict with force because the terrorists are only afraid of force.
Answer: It won’t work! Because the world has its own laws, which are more internal! We see that America, Russia or any other country is able to do what it would like to do.
Moreover, no one will come to protect us. To the contrary, everyone is ready to trample on us, and we have no friends in the international community. However, they will appear if we begin to realize the system of integral, mutual cooperation between us. Then, everyone will change their attitude toward us immediately! We are not dependent on anyone else for this.
Question: As much as I understood, our tactic is as follows: If someone comes to kill you, kill him first.
Answer: Yes, this is because if you are killed, you won’t be able to realize yourself, you won’t be able to begin to unite and connect with others. So in this case, you need to get ahead of the attacker.
But our strategy is to unite the nation.

Sorting Desires

Dr. Michael LaitmanThe Torah, “Numbers,” 17:12 – 17:15: Aaron took [it], just as Moses had said, and he ran into the midst of the assembly, and behold, the plague had begun among the people. He placed the incense on it and atoned for the people. He stood between the dead and the living, and the plague ceased. The number of dead in the plague was fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those who died because of the matter of Korah. Aaron returned to Moses at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and the plague was checked.
The Torah doesn’t speak about people and their physical death, but about our desires and attributes we think that we can correct on the current level but suddenly discover that some of them cannot be corrected. The ego is divided into 613 attributes, which together are called our ego, characterized by hatred between people, rejection of one another, and directed against our unity. No one wants to get close to anyone else and if he does, it is only in order to dominate others.
These attributes usually appear when we begin to get close to someone. But this level is yet to be reached. When we learn to get close to others and connect to them in one common heart and one common mind, we begin to feel how the forces that oppose this unity arise in us. These forces are revealed in a person as 613 attributes, desires, called Mitzvot (commandments). A Mitzva is the correction of a certain attribute we have, and the Torah tells us how to correct the forces that divide us to forces that bring us closer, connect and unite us.
But before that, we need to feel that such desires for connection and unity do exist. This is exactly what happened to Korach: he aspired for unity but believed that it was possible to reach it in a different way. When this and the other 250 desires that clung to him manifested themselves, it became clear that they were impossible to correct.
This is the reason that he fell from the level he was on, which means that the attribute of Korach in a person fell. That is, it cannot yet be corrected on the current level of the spiritual ladder. Later Korach will be born on an higher level where there are other, stronger and more accurate forces of correction that will be able to correct these desires with his method and they will be moved from their place.
Question: Does this mean that he becomes righteous?
Answer: Of course! Everything reaches the correct form. People also undergo the same “inventory”: some of the desires, attributes and intentions called people can be united with the Creator and some cannot yet be connected
At the same time, everyone takes his specific place and so some desires die because of a plague, others just suffer, and others feel that they are in a more or less normal state. This division between the attributes is necessary since without it a person will not know what is inside him and which of his attributes are focused on the goal of creation. After all, everything is measured according to the ultimate goal: which attributes I have to correct in myself in order to get close to others and reach complete adhesion with the Creator.
Everything in the Torah is described as terrible actions in which thousands of people seemingly die in a plague, but at the same time, the numbers are gematria (numerology) by which the same volume is calculated, the same density of the desires in the general soul that are put to death at the moment. This means that they are neutralized now and are not taken into account for the time being. These desires fall to the bottom, and when the time comes, they rise. This is how the sorting of desires takes place, and only those that can be corrected under the influence of the Upper Light advance.
