Do Not Allow Another Catastrophe On A Universal Scale, Part 1

Question: Why, when one hears that there is no one else besides theCreator, the first thing he thinks about is all this evil that occurred in the world: wars, the Holocaust that claimed millions of lives?
Answer: A person does not agree with the fact that there is no one else besides the Creator because it seems that it eliminates the person himself, including his existence. He does not understand what it is all about.
To this day, people do not agree with the way the upper governance treats the people of Israel, the group that seeks “straight to the Creator” (Yashar-Kel), which Abrahamorganized as one people. Even today, people still cry about this disaster.
But it would be more correct to transform all the memory of the catastrophe into the basis for correction. The Holocaust Museum and Memorial should show why it occurred, from where this terrible fault came, and what it should teach us. It is meant to teach us how we can rise out of this affliction.
In place of the catastrophe, we can grow a new attitude of the people of Israel to the Creator that is more mature and purposeful. Just tears and vows that it will never happen again will not protect us from future disasters. At that time we could not prevent the disaster, and so we cannot today.
What can be done in order to be able to influence events and not allow this to happen again? How can we learn from the past and find the strength that allows us henceforth to act so that it actually never happens again? Today we must correct the damage that we were not able to eliminate in the days of the catastrophe. Therefore, it took place in order to make corrections by the path of suffering.
The oneness of the upper governance is a very hard fact, which is not accepted by an ordinary person with all the troubles and tragedies of this life he has to go through. People do not understand how it is possible that the Creator treated the nation of Israel so badly, which was the group “aspiring straight to the Creator,” guiding them through such suffering.
It is enough to look at the path that the people of Israel went through, at all the suffering experienced by us during the 2,000 years of exile. Why did this happen? What was our mistake and why haven’t we learned from it? Why to this day, don’t we want to draw conclusions? Indeed, with anti-Semitism growing day by day, today there might be a much worse catastrophe than the one that occurred in Europe 70 years ago.
This is a very painful subject, but we have to discuss it. There is no way out, and we have to look at what happened in terms of the purpose of creation and the forces acting in nature. Our sorrow for the perished is only the beginning step towards production of a practical action through correct, broad education for the people of Israel and the whole world.
This education should show people what terrible forces could be revealed if we do not turn them into good forces. The choice is in our hands! We ourselves choose who will take power over us: the evil force or the force of good, Pharaoh/egoism, or the Creator/bestowal; it must be one of the two.
We should explain this in television programs, workshops, and discussions. This applies not only to the Jews. Today, we have advanced so much that the whole world has to be included in the correction. That is why the upper governance begins to treat the world in the same way as it earlier treated the people of Israel.
In the past, the upper governance demanded only the people of Israel to come closer to bestowal, but now this is demanded from the whole world. Thus, the entire world is on the threshold of great suffering: the war of Gog and Magog, the third world war that was described by the prophets, to a multitude of problems and misfortunes. And all this could happen because the world is not advancing on the correct path.
Of course, the people of Israel will suffer the most because it has to pass the Light to the rest. But the whole world will also be involved in this disaster. It will not be like before, being a catastrophe only of the Jewish people. Riots, problems, and revolutions will occur in any location in the world. We can already see the first stirring of conflicts, which are destined to explode in the future and envelope the whole earth.

From the 1st part of the Daily Kabbalah Lesson 10/29/14Shamati #1

The One Who Sets Everything In Motion

During our study we first discover the actions of our ego in every state. This is called another god. It is when I think that I do things by myself and that my life is determined by others such as world leaders who keep law and order, those who are close to me, those who are distant, friends, and foes. In short, I see many operating factors, both positive and negative.
Each time I grow stronger I see that it isn’t so. I simply look at what is going on as wrong and attribute those actions to those around me. But when the situation clears up, I see that the Creator sets them in motion and that they actually don’t understand what is going on. He is the only one who operates them in order to influence me. Thus, I once again discover that there is none else besides Him.
That’s the way it is in every state. Each time I eventually discover that there is no other force before me but Him.
This also applies to me: Now it seems that I am exerting myself, acting or doing something, arranging my connection with others and that I am independent in my thoughts and desires, but it is all a lie. The Creator governs everything.
Why do we see a different picture? It is so that we will be able to correct the vessel, our desires, and our ability to perceive and see that there is none else besides Him and that only He operates in reality.
Where do I reveal that? In the states, desires, and thoughts that now make me feel confident in knowing that we are all independent. It is with regard to this notion that it is written: “as the advantage of the Light out of the darkness.” The more I attribute more definite and certain independence to different factors, the more clearly I eventually discover that there is none else beside Him.
By undergoing different changes that guide me for and against the uniqueness of the Creator, I eventually begin to discover Him, not only in different situations, but also in the intensity, in the thickness (Aviut), of my desire, not only to its width, but also to its depth. I see increasingly how it operates on me through every external detail.
Then it turns out that instead of the friends and the group, I am dealing with the Creator. But that doesn’t mean that I should disrespect them. On the contrary, in the meantime, they have attained equivalence of form and so I relate to them just as I relate to the Creator. Therefore it says: “from the love of the created beings to the love of the Creator.”
It turns out that in all the troubles and contradictions, and in all my quests for the source of this life of sorrow, I have been brought to the one and only source and I see that it is actually the Creator who presents this whole reality to me. Previously, the force against it confused me by showing me that others are to blame for everything that happens, including me, since I made so many efforts. Now it turns out that only the Light operates both for and against.
I, on the other hand, am only a spectator looking at God’s work, at the only force that operates in all of reality.

Soon Everyone Will Want His Own Planet

Regarding money and questions about the economy in general, countless books have been written by Nobel Prize winners in this field. Interestingly, despite this, they are frequently mistaken.
The ability to profit from a connection with other people, to buy and sell and create special relationships with them changes a person intoAdam (human). Before this, people acted only through the use of force.
But today, anyone with money is found at the top of the social pyramid.
If I don’t have money, I cannot get food, establish a family or buy a house. In exchange for money I buy power, respect, and all my means of communication, because everything depends upon how the amount paid. It turns out that money is a cover, with it I can fulfill any desire.
There are some things that I cannot buy, for example, wisdom, or other kinds of characteristics I receive from nature. But it is possible to acquire them with money by buying people possessing those characteristics. For example, I can pay a person to write a book that will be signed with my name.
Not long ago, there was no substitute for money. But in the 1960s, a community of people appeared who related to wealth with contempt. They wanted to be happy about other things and wanted to be happy internally.
And even though the ego thirsts for fulfillment, many today no longer agree to a life of constant tension. A poor person has no happiness because he has no money, and a rich person has no happiness because besides money, he has nothing. And this is not a problem of money, but a problem of the society that gives us these values.
When a person has the possibility of getting everything, he loses his desire. In this sense the poor are more successful than the rich. If I have a need that I can cover througheffort, if it pulls me forward, if I see pleasure through working for it in a future that shines for me from a distance, then I am happy.
A wonderful example of this need is the yearning of lovers to meet each other. This illuminates their entire lives; they wait for this meeting and are ready to overcome all difficulties for it.
If we could exist without dependence on society, let’s say, on some deserted island, and we could educate our children as we truly want, then we could get them accustomed to a simple way of life. Then they would live without tension, without crises and tragedies.
Today the world is experiencing an economic crisis. But essentially this is an ideological crisis: We have developed artificial desires in people, and after that, it turns out that we cannot satisfy them. With our claims and demands soon everyone will want his own planet. But even then he will not relax because he will immediately envy a neighbor whose planet is bigger.
The time has arrived to scrutinize how to utilize the power of covering, the power of money. On the one hand, it is necessary to educate a person such that he will bring his needs to a necessary level that we can satisfy.
On the other hand, it is necessary to think carefully about how to organize the economy so that it will be ready to create everything needed and a system of education that will move a person towards rational needs and ways to fill his spare time.
It follows that in the new economy people will be involved with the creation of money coverings for the rational balance of physical desires as well as the higher spiritual desires that will be discovered in them. This is how they will advance.

So Time Doesn’t Slip Through Your Fingers

Question: In our time, most people feel that time seemingly slips through their fingers. We deal with urgent, pressing matters, and the most important we leave for later. How can we use time to realize every minute optimally? Is there a concept of a “waste of time”?
Answer: Of course! But everything is relative. Humanity has been evolving throughout history for many thousands of years. The question is: Can I grow faster than my generation, accelerate time as if I jump over decades? If not, then can I successfully realize time in my generation?
I live in the time period in which I was born. Can I use this time most effectively? And what does it mean “most effectively”?
Suppose, I can fill my life by satisfying the basic desires—for food, sex, family, wealth, fame, and knowledge—inherent in every person in a certain combination, depending on what importance he attaches to each of them. This combination of six desires, defining the purpose in life, makes us different from each other.
But if we talk about the realization of my general desire in which, for example, 10% of the desire is for food, 20% – for sex, 10% – for family, 20% – for wealth, 40% – for power and knowledge, the question arises whether I stay in the same desires I was born with? We see we don’t. My aspirations depend on the society I am in, on the measure of its influence on me.
I can use my properties, inclinations, and desires according to the environment. That is, the environment influences the way in which I will use all my inclinations to achieve pleasure. Indeed, the desires for food, sex, family, wealth, honor, and knowledge are the sources of pleasure with which I want to fulfill myself. In essence, I am the desire to enjoy.
The question is how the society I exist in affects me. The surroundings can suddenly increase my desire for science, power, or money and food, sex, and the family will lose their former importance to me, and I will use them only in order to achieve fame or power. And it may happen the opposite way.
It depends how a person realizes himself in society. Although his natural inclinations are very important and over time they still direct a person to a certain niche, peculiar to him.
But there is always a struggle between the individual and society. The individual wants to realize himself as much as possible with the help of society, and the society wants to absorb the identity and use it for its own benefit as much as possible and not take into account the personalities at all. After all, the person does not have intrinsic value to society; it only matters how they are integrated in it.
If I want to manage my time, I should be developed as much as possible both in personal and social terms because only in connection between them or on their border will I find my optimal self-realization.
After all, I should feel where society is heading, what its goal is, where I am directed according to my natural inclinations, what the goal would be if I could change the entire world for my own benefit, what could be in the connection between me and society, and how I realize myself with the help of society, in which I exists.
This means that I am going to manage the time of my life, to realize it in the most effective manner.

The Only Evil Person In The World

From, Shamati, 1, “There Is None Else Beside Him”: And as much as he overcomes, he always sees how he is farther from holiness than others, who feel that they are one with the Creator.
But he, on the other hand, always has complaints and demands, and he cannot justify the Creator’s behavior, and how He behaves toward him. This pains him. Why is he not one with the Creator? Finally, he comes to feel that he has no part in holiness whatsoever.
I see that all my intentions and my desires are in order to receive. I want to connect to the friends and reveal the Creator among them in order to bestow unto Him, but after all my attempts, I discover that it isn’t my nature at all.
Although he occasionally receives awakening from Above, which momentarily revives him, but soon after he falls into the place of baseness.
This means that I perceive my ascents and descents judging by to what extent I worry about the Creator through the group and through which He will be revealed, and to what extent I yearn to see in all that there is none else beside Him and that He is good that does good. I discover corresponding attributes in the group, but I understand that I cannot participate in it by myself.
It turns out that there is no one to blame but me. Ordinary people on the street are totally managed by the Creator in a natural instinctive manner. Therefore, they are not responsible for anything and are absolute righteous since they only carry out the Creator’s orders without any participation on their part.
The friends that I see invest all their powers in order to bestow and the only evil person in the world, who wants to exit his ego but cannot do so, is me. It turns out that the general state of the vessel, of the general soul, depends only on me.
Thus, the Creator’s state depends on the outcome of my efforts. The Creator can enjoy the created beings and be revealed to them only if I add my penny. Without that, the Creator cannot be content and this is my fault!
A man must always try and cleave to the Creator; namely, that all his thoughts will be about Him. That is to say, that even if he is in the worst state, from which there cannot be a greater decline, he should not leave His domain, namely, that there is another authority which prevents him from entering holiness, and which can bring benefit or harm.
That is, he must not think that there is the force of the Sitra Achra (Other Side), which does not allow a person to do good deeds and follow God’s ways. Rather, all is done by the Creator.
On the one hand, we have to accept all the actions we undergo. There is only one thing I cannot accept: the fact that I cannot justify the Creator in all these actions and thank and praise Him. This is the only thing that hurts.
Of course, I don’t feel sorry for myself but for the fact that I cannot add my missing part, my penny, to the whole general vessel in order  that the Creator will be able to be revealed within it and to enjoy it.

From the 1st part of the Daily Kabbalah Lesson 10/29/14Shamati #1

Love Neutralizes The Ego

The convention is over and we are about to return to our groupsin order to connect with other people. We are about to go outside this big hall and separate from our group of ten.
Of course, we should keep in touch with them, but we should see that anything that is added to my group of ten or what it lacks when I go back home is calculated from Above and this is actually what I should work with.
The Creator has given us such conditions on purpose and I should not feel sorry that I am not next to the same small group that I have grown so accustomed to for the last few days and with whom I want to stay forever. No! I am going to work with the whole world and with my local group.
We should attain a state in which there are several people I can work with everywhere, whether virtually or physically. There can be different groups of ten in the morning, at midday, and in the evening. This is only the beginning and we stick to a certain group of ten in order to feel that there we can find an answer, warmth, closeness, and mutual understanding.
But we can feel the same almost immediately in any other group. If I am surrounded by friends from all over the world who are advancing towards one goal, I can sit in any group and immediately feel that these are the same friends.
It makes no difference whether I know these people well or whether I don’t know them at all in the corporeal world. If we have a common goal, I can connect to them as if I have known them for years. It makes no difference at all how well we have known each other previously.
It is very important to express love to all the friends, so that every person in the group, in the group of ten, will feel that he is loved. The feeling of love neutralizes the ego if a person wishes to annul his ego. This is because the love of the friends evokes in me such a peaceful feeling that I cease worrying about myself.
Then I can ascend above my ego! I am free of worrying about myself and so I can bestow and give my love as a present to others because I no longer have to think about myself.
It is a very important point. We can agree that we will intentionally show our love to one of the friends and thus free him from his troubles and worries.Try it and see and how well it works, even if we don’t work that way on purpose with regard to one of the friends, each of us should still feel that the group worries about him.

A Group Of Ten As A Tool For Adhesion

If you want to explore the upper force, the wisdom of Kabbalahsays that you must create a tool appropriate for this. This is just like scientists who create measuring instruments: microscopes, telescopes, particle accelerators, and the like. But they are appropriate only for physical substances. So how can we explore the force that works within us, in our essence?
For this the Kabbalists recommend building a structure of ten people (Minyan) who try to create complete interconnection between them. They stabilize the characteristic of Light in their environment, whether they are ready for this or not, by wanting to make a single whole of themselves above their egos.
Such a structure already contains two forces within it: our natural egoistic force and the general force of bestowal, meaning the Creator. And the calculation here is simple: The more we overcome the force of separation with the help of the power of unification, to this degree we match, resemble, and equalize with the Upper Light.
Even when bestowal rises to a value of one percent, to that degree we resemble the Light and feel it. We feel it to the degree that the desire to bestow dominates the desire to receive.
If we try making an effort, in spite of our inability to overcome our egoistic desire, we begin to pay attention to where there is a shortcoming, how weak we still are, why we don’t succeed. And then a scream, a request, a prayer develops in us for the Light to help us, give us strength, and then we connect. Certainly we don’t have the power to connect on our own. It comes only from the Light.
That is how we advance: The Light acts and influences us according to our request; we overcome our desire to receive, absorb more of the desire to bestow; we connect between us more strongly again and again…. It is written about this: (Baba Batra 9b) “A penny and another penny accumulate into a great sum.”
And then the moment comes when we truly can unite. Then everyone feels how he disappears into the common connection between us.  “I” and the “friends” no longer exist; all merge into one. And at the moment in this state of “togetherness,” we feel fulfillment, the Upper Light, the Creator dwelling among us.
And then we can investigate Him. In other words, we have built and activated a device called a “group,” a “group of ten,” (a Minyan); and we can now advance forward by stabilizing ourselves more and more in various forms of connection. And the Creator, in accordance with our mutual connection, will be revealed more and more.
Through its influence, the Light will also awaken us to deeper and deeper layers of ego. We feel resistance, descent, and all kinds of disturbances, that makes it possible for us to turn towards the Upper Light with even greater force so that it will come and acquire the power for us to see our defects and the methods for their correction.
This is the way, 125 levels, that by ascending through them we ultimately reach “equivalence of form” with the Creator. And in this way we discover how important the characteristics of fear and anxiety are to us. After all, it is only concern and fear, “Am I capable of bestowal?” which pushes us forward.

Short Stories: Climbing Mt. Sinai

Having gone through all the stages of life in Egypt and the exodus from Egypt, the people of Israel reach a state called Mt. Sinai. They begin to understand that they are facing a huge mountain of evil, the word “Sinai” stems from the word “hate” (mutual hate) in Hebrew, the deep repulsion that people feel towards one another which is much greater than what they felt in Egypt.
While in Egypt or in ancient Babylon they didn’t understand it and were not fully aware of it; now the evil is revealed to them to it’s fullest.
As a result the people feel perplexed, helpless, and cannot even imagine what they should do. But Moses eases their mind, promising them to arrange and fix the connection between them and Creator. This is his role since he is the link between the people of Israel and the upper force. The people wouldn’t be able to do anything without his help and guidance, without his connection to the Creator.
He climbs Mt. Sinai while the people don’t feel this connection and are ready to go back to Egypt. The main thing for them is to feel that they have something, something to hold on to! Hatred scares simple people.
Imagine you are living in an apartment building in which everyone hates you deeply. You are afraid to come out of your apartment, to open a window, you feel currents of great hatred on all sides, you cannot sleep, and are losing your appetite. This is a terrible situation! This is exactly what the people standing at the feet of Mt. Sinai feel. The true nature of their ego is revealed to them and they see that they cannot overcome it in any way since the connection with the Creator who helped them not long ago is gone.
But Moses promises them that he will ascend to this level of connection, establish the contact between them, and take them out of this hatred. Only he can ascend above the mountain of the ego, but it is only one small attribute in us.
The moment he detaches from the people they lose hope of connecting to the Creator and the only hope they see is in creating the golden calf, which they believe can bring them together. There is nothing else they can hold on to.
They are ready to take off their gold jewelry and to donate it so that something will unite them. Because compared to the deep hatred they feel, the small ego that is embodied in the golden calf egotistically connects them at least to some extent.
When he comes down from Mt. Sinai, Moses comes closer to the people wanting to connect them to the Creator through him and to establish the contact between them, but he sees that once again they bow to their ego (the golden calf). Then he breaks the two tablets of the covenant received on Mt. Sinai, which is now unsuitable for the people since they have fallen to a different level.
Moses climbs the mountain, meaning the ego again, and when he connects to the upper level of love and bestowal above it, he receives a second instruction from the Creator. When he descends from this spiritual level he brings the people the plan for unity: the revelation of the Creator by their getting closer in the inner unity between them.
The plan includes all the major laws of the Torah, and the most important one is “love thy neighbor as thyself,” and the people are ready to keep it and to unite.
The day that Moses descends the second time from Mt. Sinai is called Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). He brings the people the two tables, which means the ten conditions in contrast to the ten plagues of Egypt. By fulfilling these conditions on the spiritual level, they reach a level of unity between them in which the Creator is revealed and they merge into complete unity with Him. This is the purpose of their correction.

From KabTV’s “Short Stories” 10/22/14

Two-Sided Work

Our connection with each other indicates that we have established a covenant that requires us to be concerned in general about the whole group, or at least in the meantime about our group of ten.
According to this criterion can I examine whether I am disconnected from that concern or not?  Do I think about them all the time or don’t I? How much I am attracted to them and holding onto my thoughts about them shows where I am.
Thanks to our being able to carry out physical actions within a small group (a group of ten), spiritual work becomes simple physical work, visible and accessible for scrutiny, analysis, and examination. I can count how many times per day I have thought about thefriends, how I have been concerned about them, how I have lifted their mood and have given them upliftment and excitement about the goal, and have nourished them with confidence and happiness.
I need to examine myself as to how much I adapt to the principle: “The end of the action is in the initial thought.” The final state is connection with the Creator. For this I connect with the friends now. So I need to check whether I am truly thinking about my connection with the Creator or have I forgotten about Him completely?
If I forget about the Creator, then my entire connection with the group of ten is not good. It doesn’t lead to anything except harm. This will be the regular egoistic connection where there is no spirituality, like between soccer fans or a military combat unit.
So I must be concerned about this enough to speak about it, at least, if I have no feelings about it in the meantime. I must remind myself that I am ready to connect with the friends in order to attain adherence with the Creator. This means that I am connected to attain the characteristic of complete bestowal.
And so already now, from the start, I show the friends how much I want this; I am ready to invest lots of energy in them; to inspire and serve them, I am ready to do anything for them, the main thing being to reach the Creator.
On the other hand, I can turn to the Creator with a request to help me to work with the friends so that I will be able to help them, to connect and elevate them. For it is clear, that I myself don’t have the strength for this, I can only ask on behalf of the friends.
It means that this is two-way work: through the group to the Creator and from the Creator to the group. In work through the group to the Creator, I am the bottom, for me the group is a higher level, and the Creator is above that higher level. The difference is who serves as a conduit that connects, the transmitter.
If I want to reach the Creator through the group, I use the group as a channel that connects me with the Creator. And If I get energy from the Creator to bestow to the group, then I am that conduit that connects the group with the Creator.
I must constantly imagine this scheme, to see most correctly and precisely where I am found, especially during the lesson.

From the Convention In Los Angeles “Day Two” 11/1/14, Lesson 4

An Adventure On The Mountain Of Ruminations

Question: When we rise above ourselves, above our egoistic essence, does this inner ascent change the connection with external nature?
Answer: This ascent makes it possible to truly connect with all ofnature.
When standing on the summit of Mount Everest, a person sees himself as a great and strong conqueror having attained his goal. An egoistic longing for control has been satisfied. Now he will have something to talk about and remember. And what is next?—Nothing. Now he begins the descent.
Spiritual ascent is completely different. Here the mountain (Har – הר) means doubt (Hirhurim – הרהורים). I am full of doubts and I debate whether to ascend or not, whether to overcome or not. This is a complete process. To be able to move through it, we have been given the wisdom of Kabbalah. It is a guide that will help us.
It is important to understand that I rise above our world, above the universe, above everything. Then I look at the Earth  and see all of it, all of nature, all of the mechanisms and interrelationships within it that cannot be disconnected. In the moon and the sun, the stars, our galaxy, and everywhere, I see threads of connection and begin to feel true wholeness. But I don’t control any of it. I identify with it all, and I connect to the system.
So it is impossible to compare this adventure with anything. After all, we attain a wholeness not found on any of the summits on the face of the Earth or depths of the oceans.
Question: Doesn’t a climber, when he climbs a mountain, overcome himself and then look at the world from a height above the whole world? The idea here is that he doesn’t just physically conquer the summit. Exactly how does this overcoming differ from spiritual overcoming?
Answer: Every athlete must overcome himself when leaping to a new height, rushing to a finish line, lifting a weight. Even in ordinary life, I must overcome various difficulties and continue on at every moment. This is a natural state for us.
But in spirituality, overcoming is not directed against nature but with it, adding balance, unity, and connection between me and all of nature at every moment. So while I advance in this direction, I am never get into trouble, I ‘m not buried under an avalanche, or drown in a turbulent river.
On the contrary, I discover that nature is more and more dear to me because I approach it and connect with all of its levels of the still, vegetative, animate, and speaking. Specifically, the main thing here is the human (speaking) level, where I must reach the state of loving others as myself.
So it follows that in such a manner I reach new forms of connection and have nothing more to fear. No disaster will ever happen to me, I will never cause damage, to myself , to others, or to humanity as a whole. This is the way to balance and harmony, despite the heroism of everyone who surmounts mountain peaks and descends to the depths of the oceans. Their overcoming them, it is essentially an aspiration to control, which is the characteristic of Pharaoh.
Question: In what manner are disasters prevented?
Answer: Due to equilibrium. Humans are the highest link in nature, so if they create balance, then all of nature is in balance. On the contrary, if a person creates imbalance, then the lack of balance that he creates in nature ultimately harms the person himself more than anything else.
Question: How exactly does a person create balance?
Answer: This is through the desire that all of human society will dwell in balance. Here participation, connection, equality, and mutual concern are required. It is when the whole world becomes one loving family. Without a doubt, balance between people will lead to the right attitude towards all of nature.
And then we attain its comprehensive power, the formula for harmony that penetrates it, the universal law of all of nature. We attain “there is none else beside Him” and that “He is the good and beneficent.” We identify with this overall energy of the entire system and we attain it in its wholeness. This is the goal of our development.
We must reach this in the coming years with the help of the wisdom of Kabbalah. I am sure that this will happen soon, and hopefully in the best way.

From Illusion Of Perfection

Question: How does a Kabbalist feel our life?
Answer: A Kabbalist feels our life only as a means of entry into a higher dimension and rising on the ladder of spiritual degrees.
Everything that exists in our world and in it life itself are just a condition for further spiritual elevation. Therefore, a Kabbalist relates to our world in a practical, clear, strict way.
Of course, he can enjoy all the material things: music, literature, art, nature, etc. But inside of him, there is always a very clear directive: I do it in order to advance in the attainment of the higher world. He feels all the fragility, insignificance, and illusion of our world, and understands that it arises in his mind on purpose.
Just like the pictures that we see on the computer screen are nothing but electric signals that create images on the plasma, in the same way, various human feelings are only electric signals, nothing more. A Kabbalists understands the illusion of any material feeling: either positive or negative. He sees that all that surrounds us exists only in our perception, within us.
Therefore, he has no fear of death. He knows that his physical body must die, but the attainment of the upper world, the so-called the soul, will exist to the extent that it has been corrected while still in the body and can continue its correction further.

The Secret Practices Of A Kabbalist

Question: Why is the wisdom of Kabbalah called a secret wisdom? What is the hidden work of a Kabbalist?
Answer: The practical work of a Kabbalist amounts to this: he can go up and down in the levels of his ego or bestowal like in an elevator.
He can descend from the bottom floor down into the ego and then he can rise to the ground floor and begin to climb up the 125 steps.
Together with this, all kinds of inner changes happen in a person. He has the opportunity to rise from the level of a child to the level of a youth, an adult, or an old man, and after that he can consistently descend back to each one of these levels to the lowest.
In ascent or descent on the Kabbalistic ladder, it is possible to change all kinds of parameters and characteristics within you, to sort and switch them within yourself. We are as if programmers, directing ourselves, and every time we see the world in the same cut and style specifically towards which we aim. And this these are called the secret practices of the Kabbalist.
When we are found within the framework of our world, we can travel in time, space, and worlds according to the timeline; we can find ourselves in the era of the dinosaurs and watch all of these states among us.
The great Kabbalist Baal HaSulam described the history of the creation of planet Earth and all the periods of its formation in his writings. But he could do this, not because he studied geology, but because he saw all of these states.
It was not difficult for him to enter them. It was as if he took binoculars, a microscope, or telescope, and according to his personal internal instruments, he correctly directed himself to see and attain every era.
This amounts to the so-called secret Kabbalistic practices. In fact they are not secret, but the Kabbalist cannot convey them to others. He can only use them himself because they are his inner characteristics. Everyone can learn to expand the range of his inner vision if he would methodically and seriously become involved in the wisdom of Kabbalah and transform himself into a Kabbalist.
So by directing himself correctly, he can go out of himself and travel above our world, in all aspects of creation. For our world is the smallest, insignificant and gray, and according to the wisdom of Kabbalah, exists only in our uncorrected perception and imagination.

“Tamagotchi” – The Game Of The Future?

Question: One of the common phenomena among youth is the constant updating of their status in social networks. The more often I post my pictures, the more friends I have. These actions are seemingly an expression of a tendency to connect, but in fact, it is a process for its own sake.
Answer: Since a desire for connection has been awakened in people, they feel an attraction to communications media. In the meantime, this process is in a transitory phase because they don’t know how to utilize these tools correctly. Their desire has not been examined enough, is not yet ripe, and communications media are still not compatible with the right needs and demands that are being discovered.
When we begin to mold a connection between us like a virtual “Tamagotchi” into which everyone contributes his concern, warmth, and beauty, then we will feel our lives are found precisely there within this connection. Our bodies are here, and my consciousness, my true self, is there.
Comment: The Tamagotchi toy demands my concern, but doesn’t give anything back in return.
Answer: Clearly, plastic remains plastic. Whereas a human level exists above me and is greater than I am. From that I receive a million times more than I invest. Moreover, I don’t stay in my place, but with my soul, I am found there, in connection with everyone. And we are not just many, but together we become something that melts and becomes one body.
From many parts, thanks to the warmth between them, one body is created. And everyone receives the awareness, understanding, feeling, and warmth of everyone. The new level of existence of humanity is like this. And I hope that communications media will help us attain it as quickly as possible.

Conquerors Of Spiritual Summits

Question: Israelis love adventure. Many of them travel to the ends of the earth to hike along the “extreme” trails. They love the call of nature, whether chilling rafting or even trekking in the Annapurna Circuit, not the most dangerous tourist trails, which suddenly became a tragedy as recently reported in the news.
In general people try to subdue nature, to reach its summits figuratively and literally, which can even cost them their lives. Where does this desire come from?
Answer: There are truly those who are very attracted to the challenges of nature. For example, someone really feels that he must cross the ocean on a frail raft or sail around the world.
The awareness and conquest of nature gives a person a sensation of inner satisfaction. Despite the difficult obstacles on the way, nature doesn’t exhaust us mentally, but on the contrary, it fulfills, renews, heals, and revives us. After all, we are physically its children, and only in our development on a human level do we move away from it and want to be above it.
Regarding journeys and adventures, I suppose that no nation can compare to Israelis in the number of tourists going on extreme expeditions, in “escapes from civilization” or in the timeless penetration into places where one can test oneself through nature. You can run into Israelis at all ends of the earth, and sometimes it is difficult for people to believe that our [Israel's] population totals only six million.
This impulse is the result of the nation being very small but with very developed desire. We want to know and to feel more. Yet in principle, people are satisfied with a trip to Paris or London, and yet it is a deeply rooted desire. We want to know about the world we live in, and through it, the higher reality, the force that manages the world.
This drive is rooted in us, since in the past we touched the universal force. We built a connection with it and the entire system of creation. And now, this memory called a Reshimo (reminiscence) of the wisdom of Kabbalah, is latent in us and awakens us to aspire to that connection.
So looking at the modern adventures of Israelis responding to the call of nature, I see this as a transitional stage that will ultimately awaken us to a recognition of nature, not only in breadth but also in depth.
With the passage of time, people will understand that there is nothing special about these tours; they are pretty empty, devoid of content. Instead of becoming familiar with waterfalls and exotic shops—although this has its charm—one can become familiar with the mighty global system of nature that rests upon a higher, divine harmony.
To become familiar with this system, to be integrated within it, is truly a wonderful pleasure. The development of humanity leads to this, and we hope that there isn’t much more to do until then.
So in searching for new paths, people will turn to a new guide: the wisdom of Kabbalah.
Question: In other words, it is possible to replace the challenges associated with physical dangers with something else?
Answer: Yes, this is in spiritual challenges, journeys of the soul and elevations to spiritual peaks. This is an incredible adventure, yet it requires more courage and heroism than climbing in the Himalayas. Because when a climber ascends Mount Everest, he in fact satisfies his ego, going hand in hand with his inner egoistic drive. here he has to struggle with himself in his ascent to the spiritual peak.
This spectacular summit opens before him an infinite world and an endless life. It reveals areas of nature that are not found in our dimension. However, in order to get there, a person must change his foundation, work against his ego, leaving the mountain of his nature below him by hating it.
Mountain climbers also rise above themselves, experiencing a type of hatred towards the mountain they are climbing and want to conquer. This partially reminds one of spiritual ascent in which I must conquer the mountain of my ego, hate it, yet not so much that it will be nullified. Instead it will be possible to rise above it. For me, this is the greatest challenge.
It is hoped that people will understand what wonderful treks await them, what dazzling peaks assure them of adventure, so that they cannot be compared to what mother Earth can offer.
Indeed, I have not conquered 8,000 meter high mountains, but during my life I have seen just about all the wonders of the world. I can say that the adventure that we experience when we conquer the mountains within us is much more wonderful than that.

The Power Of Motherhood

Question: We know that motherhood leads to a great change in awoman’s life. What exactly changes in her? What does she have to give up? What new process takes place in a woman when she becomes a mother and what does she have to prepare for?
Answer: A woman who becomes a mother gradually moves from the level of an individual person to a level of a system, which she enters. If previously she felt that she was an individual and not connected to anyone except her home, her parents, and her husband, she feels that she becomes dependent the moment she has a baby; she becomes connected and even captivated by her baby, who is now by her side, obliging her, tying her down, absorbing all her attention, and enslaving her to such an extent that there is nothing more important in the world for her than caring for him.
When I stroll in the park, I see young women sitting on benches with baby carriages speaking to one another. Each one is constantly looking at her baby while speaking to the others: “Perhaps he needs something or perhaps I can do something for him.” This goes on continuously. The baby doesn’t need that much attention, but her motherly nature obliges her to constantly care for him.
Imagine what would happen if we had to post a policeman next to every mother to make sure that she didn’t leave her baby alone. It would be impossible.
But the natural force that awakens in a woman after she gives birth is a great force. It is a force that spurs and gives birth to life. There is no more powerful force that creates dependence, love, connection, and care other than the force that is born in a woman who becomes a mother. It gradually grows weaker later on and takes on other forms because a mother can have more children and has to pay attention to all of them.
Still of all human desires, the dependence of the baby on her and her care for him is above everything else by far. It is because of all the other desires for food, sex, family, wealth, and respect, the desire to care for her baby, to be connected to him, precedes all the other desires and is more important than them all.
I emphasize this because in order to bring humanity to a state of harmony with nature and on which the positive advancement of humanity depends to reach a bright future, we have to use this force. It is because it is natural and we don’t have to look for anything artificial.
We only need one thing: to bring mothers together and explain to them in a simple and convincing manner that the integral method we recommend to the world is the best thing and is the only way that can promise their children a good, safe, and healthy future.
We should explain to every mother, for the good of her child, what the system of connections we have to establish in society, what we all have to prepare so that her baby will have a wonderful world to grow and develop in as every mother dreams of.
We don’t need to convince them any other way other than to simply explain to every mother what will create the best world for her baby and what we have to do so that her baby will have the right environment. We will not need to do anything else.

A Toolkit Of Light

The wisdom of Kabbalah, in contrast to other wisdoms, investigates the highest internal matter, the desire that is on the human level.
Desires on the still, vegetative, and animate levels appear to us in this world. We can investigate, understand, and use them. On the basis of investigating them, we create a science.
But there is no science that investigates desire on the human level. Psychology tries to reach this, yet unsuccessfully. Why? Because the investigator must be on a higher level than that object, the subject, which is being investigated.
Being a person in this world, I can explore inanimate matter (physics, chemistry and the like), the vegetative (botany) and animate matter (biology, zoology, etc). After all, I am standing on a higher level.
However, the matter of the human level, our inner world, cannot be investigated from our level. And so psychology and psychiatry are devoid of a real, solid, scientific basis.
But with the help of the wisdom of Kabbalah we can create this basis, and thanks to this, we can more truly and objectively investigate all the rest of the lower strata of the still, vegetative and animate levels. For now, we have the opportunity of taking into account the mistakes and errors in the investigations of the nature of these lower levels, where we make distortions generated by our own human nature.
So the wisdom of Kabbalah, is specifically a science in the full sense of the word, and it is much more precise than other sciences. For with it we investigate the substance of creation, the desire to receive, on the levels of the still, vegetative, animate, and speaking, and we use a unique apparatus called the Upper Light.
When physicists study matter in a particle accelerator, they induce collisions and observe their results.
And so with us, it is the same thing: The Light comes and makes a collision, meaning that it carries out a Zivug de Hakaa (coupling with striking). First the collision is made and after that, the coupling. With the help of this experiment, we examine and learn about what is happening in the encounter between the desire to receive and the desire to bestow, between the Creator and creation.
