Summary
It is good to keep The Book of Zohar in every home because it brings people close to the essence of the wisdom of Kabbalah.
After the destruction of the Second Temple (Beit HaMikdash), Rabbi Shimon and his students wrote The Book of Zohar from the connection between them in a group of ten.The Book of Zohar explains how it is up to us to connect with each other to draw upon the good power of nature.
Today we require the good power just as we need to breathe air. So The Book of Zoharhas been revealed with the “Sulam Commentary.” It is written: “’And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart’ (Deuteronomy 6:5), with both of your inclinations” (Mishna Berachot 9:5).
This means that there is a power in The Book of Zohar to build the good inclination in a person, and with this trait he can build a positive force to balance between people who want to connect with love. When a person acquires the good force in addition to theevil force, he can penetrate inward to the divine system.
In the years of exile, the Kabbalists hid the wisdom of Kabbalah from the people because the people were not ready, while today they are ready.
The Book of Zohar is intended for every person, and so we have published an edition of Zohar for the People that is very approachable by everyone. The Book of Zoharbrings the power of the Messiah to our lives, the power that can draw us out of the ego to love.
