Why Does The Creator Hide From Us?

 

It is written: “You have made Me.” Yet, how can this be if the Creator is the only force that exists in the universe? This force contains everything, and apart from it there is nothing, nothing extends beyond its borders. Everything comes to life within the Creator, including us.

How can we create the Creator? Didn’t the Creator create us, because there is no one else? The Creator faced a difficult task: to create a creation and develop it so that it becomes independent. It is what we do when we want to foster independence in our children. The Creator, however, had a more difficult task because there is no other force beside Him.

Let’s say we grew up and found out that there is no one else beside the Creator and we are inside this force that influences us. Then what can we do by ourselves?

Therefore, on one hand, the Creator fills the entire universe and controls everything, but on the other hand, we do not see this because He is hidden. This is what we sometimes do with our children, we don’t want to help them so we hide so that they can work on their own and learn how to build something. Apparently, the Creator is concealed because He wanted to make us independent.

On the other hand, we need to learn to live in the world as if the Creator is present. And if He were revealed, we would do exactly what we are doing now when He is hidden. This state is called complete faith. First and foremost, we must reach it: faith above reason, bestowal above the force of reception, above the force of our egoism.

It is possible to overcome egoism only if there is something bigger than it, the force of bestowal. We are made of the of the desire to receive pleasure, and it is not impressed by words but bows to power. If my egoism feels the greatness of the Creator, it will do everything that the Creator commands. Yet, if my egoism feels its own greatness, it follows all the orders of egoism. It is obvious that either one or the other force governs: either the force of our egoism or the force of the Creator’s bestowal.

We behave according to the one that influences us. If egoism were openly active in us, we would obey it in everything and would be called wicked, complete egoists. In fact, this is what is happening now.

And if the Creator were revealed and allowed us to see that He fills the world, if the force and superiority of the will to bestow were revealed, we would immediately bow before it and obey its orders in everything. Sometimes it even happens; suddenly the greatness of the Creator is revealed a little, and we are ready to give and love for a while until this miracle disappears.

Such impulses come and go in order to show us that this is possible, but only if we are more impressed with the greatness of the Creator than with the greatness of our egoism. In other words, the question is who will rule: the will to receive or the will to bestow? There are only these two forces in nature.

However, if we behaved in this way, we would either be criminals who follow only our will to receive or angels who act according to the will to bestow. One or the other force would fully govern us, and we would remain animals, either predatory or holy, acting according to inner instinct. In this form, we are not similar to the Creator, we are not human, Adam, because we did not choose to be egoists or saints.

Then how to make us free so that we can choose whether to receive or to bestow, whether to be opposite from the Creator or like Him? The Creator was faced with the task of making man free so that he will choose what he prefers: either to be an egoist like creation or an altruist like the Creator and become His son, partner, ands similar to the Creator.

The Creator thought and found a solution: put an intermediary between the will to receive and the will to bestow, between the two opposite forces, so that the creation can consist of the will to receive, but will be able to shift to the intention for the sake of bestowal. The Creator created a situation where the creation can be impressed with the greatness of the Creator, the greatness of bestowal, but not directly from the upper force so as not to bow before it, but to study this state to the extent of its desire.

If a person really wants to recognize the greatness of the Creator, but not as His slave, then it is necessary to build a special state for him called the group. In the group, he has the opportunity to decide how much to surrender to his friends, and to this extent to be impressed by the greatness of the Creator.

The Creator is always present in the group but in a concealed way. To the extent that a person yearns to feel the greatness of the Creator through the group, he can feel Him. However, he will feel the Creator and His greatness, not directly but through his friends, through his subjugation before them. In this way, he acquires the force of bestowal and gradually becomes man, Adam, similar to the Creator, an independent person and not an angel.

By connecting with his friends, with the ten, a person shows his desire to be included in the quality of bestowal and operate with this quality received from the Creator through the ten, gradually growing in spirituality. He uses the quality of bestowal creatively, not under coercion, and builds himself as an independent individual similar to the Creator.

This will be true love and bestowal, not forced like in a slave out of fear or under pressure, but as a free person.

Make Room For The Creator

The most difficult thing is to imagine a love that is always based on hatred, and both of them support each other, strengthen and exist only thanks to this.

This is how the spiritual differs from the material world where one cancels the other. We are used to our world where we can only love when we forget about hatred. And then hatred flares up again, and we forget about love and are ready to kill each other.

This does not happen in the spiritual world; there is both hatred and love at the same time. Both of them come from the Creator, and it is through hatred, which is the basis of this world, that we can rise to love, to the nature of the upper world. We exist in this sandwich, both in hate and in love, and these two lines, right and left, exist on equal terms. One can’t be bigger than the other.

And then we will feel the middle line revealed. It can’t be revealed yet because otherwise we will cancel one of the two lines. Only if there are two lines and we understand that one cannot be without the other, through our desire to preserve both of them, we create a middle line.

Do this exercise: Where I see my egoism toward my friends, I try to remove it, to uproot it. I cut it out as if with a knife, and I keep the space that is left and want to fill it with the Creator. I want the Creator to be revealed in it, otherwise He will not be revealed. If I want to reveal the Creator, it is possible only in those places and qualities where I have made room for Him.

Toward An Altruistic Connection

Question: When I studied at MAK online, [Bnei Baruch’s Russian Education Center] I decided for myself that I should stay away from all the material problems of a friend, because this could hurt my spiritual progress.

But at the congress some kind of connection was awakened between us, a greater involvement in each other. For example: I got a headache, and a friend was already poking around in his pocket and giving me a pill. But at the next meeting, I was ashamed to look in his direction, awkward, I felt obliged to him.

What is the role of such expressions of caring and concern between friends in spiritual advancement?

Answer: You must reach a state where you will not be uncomfortable with one another. On the contrary, it will bring you together completely unselfishly, without any calculations. I gave a friend the opportunity to help me, and I am very happy about this. I am glad that I have such friends who immediately felt that I needed their help.

There is no giver and receiver here. Everyone gives and everyone receives. That is how one should strive to consider such states.

In the general network of relations between us, there are no states at all when I give to you, but you don’t give to me, or I receive, but you don’t, because both bestowal and reception are absolutely equivalent, one and the same. When I give, by that I receive. A friend gives me the opportunity to give to him. Maybe you give him a pill or something else, but in fact you receive from him. This is partly what you felt in your relationship at the congress.

There is no such thing: I receive or I give. These are all actions for the mutual connection between us. In an integral connection, the actions themselves have no meaning. What matters is only the construction of this absolute network, when all the strings of communication, and there are an infinite number of them, get aligned and are transformed. And on this level the quality of the Creator reigns.

Can People Who Keep Up with Nature’s Plan Contract the Coronavirus?

Question: Thousands of people united at the recent Kabbalah convention in Israel. Immediately afterward, the global outbreak began. We connected and look at what happened. Did we cause this?

Answer: No, we did not cause this. First of all, the outbreak started before the convention; it just was not that obvious.

We were sure that nothing would happen to the convention participants. Since tens of thousands of people all over the world were connecting with each other physically and virtually through good efforts, there was no danger here.

I am sure that none of our friends, wherever they were, wherever they went to participate in the mirror congress, fell ill. There were no problems with anyone.

And how could there be if we were gathering in order to connect with even better connections between us. We move together with nature’s plan; therefore, we cannot be affected by the virus that affects egoistic connections between people, societies, and countries.

Question: Is it possible to deduce the following formula: people who will learn to connect with each other correctly won’t be affected by this virus?

Answer: Yes. I can give you my word for that. We just need to understand that this is not 100% because there are individual cases that we can analyze and see why this happened in our ranks. However, I do not think that we will hear about a huge number of Kabbalists being affected by the virus. It is impossible. We will just wait and see.

“What Will Happen To Israel During The Coronavirus Pandemic?” (Times Of Israel)

The Times of Israel published my new article “What Will Happen to Israel during the Coronavirus Pandemic?”

As the coronavirus spreads around the world, making entire populations feel small in its presence, conditions have been set by which humanity can undergo a major shift from its emphasis on the self-concern of individuals and nations, to an emphasis that is more balanced with nature—where we all consider humanity’s benefit.

And indeed, many nations’ citizens have exemplified tremendous mutual responsibility in aligning with the new conditions. In particular, China’s people have carried out their government’s regulations with great care and strictness, and they already show signs of recovery from the crisis.

Discipline and mutual responsibility of a country’s citizens in response to governmental lockdowns, travel restrictions and social distancing measures is indeed key to recovering from the pandemic. There are such countries that have a characteristic disciplinary quality, China being one of them, also Germany, where I expect those countries to recover sooner than others due to their diligence in maintaining their government’s guidelines.

Where is Israel in this process? Israel is a completely different animal.

Even in the face of a crisis that corners everybody, Israel—both at the governmental level, where its leaders show no motions toward exiting the political deadlock, and also on a societal level, where large segments of the population ignore health department guidelines to avoid large gatherings—demonstrates itself as the last nation in queue to overcome its differences and join its forces in the presence of a greater threat.

Israel’s reluctance to band together even during a global pandemic exemplifies what the Torah has written about the nation, that the people of Israel are a “stiff-necked people”[i] who follow the “stubbornness of their evil hearts.”[ii] In other words, the egoistic human nature residing in every person—which the Torah describes as “evil,” since it leads people to harm others in its emphasis on self-benefit over benefiting others—is distinguishably bigger in the people of Israel.

It is not that Israel is unorganized in its reaction to the pandemic. Due to Israel’s extensive experience and preparedness for war situations, its systems are always on guard to respond quickly to emergency situations. Thus, Israel’s rapid response to the coronavirus has nothing to do with its citizen’s level of mutual responsibility, but is merely due to Israel’s need to coordinate immediate responses to its neighboring countries’ war moves.

Also, in relation to restrictions imposed by the government, we still see certain segments of the population ignoring the guidelines and continuing to gather. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that by the end of April in Israel, the number of people infected by the coronavirus could reach 1 million, which would mean around 10,000 fatalities, if its residents fail to uphold the restrictions.

Therefore, in the near future, we can expect to see the outcome of countries’ populations that successfully apply efforts to protect themselves, and those that fail to do so. For the time being, Israel shows signs of setting itself up for a major spread of the virus. For instance, while Israel’s Ministry of Health sets guidelines, it is a pity that they are not enforced more assertively in order to better restrict the virus’ spread.

In short, we need to isolate ourselves from each other in order to stop the virus’ spread, for a short period of time, because it is indeed expanding in every direction.

I myself nearly never leave my room, and if I do, I make sure to maintain a two meter distance between myself and others, exactly as the Health Ministry guidelines stipulate. I do so because I witnessed first-hand the example of my teacher, Kabbalist Baruch Shalom HaLevi Ashlag (the Rabash), seeing how he followed government regulations and recommendations in a very exacting manner. He accepted conditions set by the government as if they were laws of nature, because he had contact with the complete system of reality, and saw how all is controlled from a single force that passes down rules and recommendations for the public to follow through the world’s leaders and experts.

Therefore, for Rabash, it was not merely government officials that he was obeying, but the higher force of reality. Likewise, today, from above there are conditions set for us to socially distance ourselves for our own protection and because we endanger others if we fail to do so. As such, we would be wise to follow such guidelines.

If we manage to sustain the social distancing conditions, then, as I have written and spoken about extensively, we can make optimal use of our time in order to learn about nature’s interconnectedness and interdependence, about how we are inseparable parts of nature, and that in order to experience a harmonious response from nature instead of pandemics and other problems, we need only positively connect above our differences.

In other words, while nature has sent us to our respective rooms, we should ideally think about how we can create a new atmosphere in society, where we think about benefiting others over personal benefit. If we succeed in doing so, then we will experience a whole new kind of harmonious reality the likes of which we have never before seen or felt.

Don’t Let Go Of Him

The goal is to gather and connect in a corrected ten that strives to achieve balance and contact with the Creator, equivalence of form with Him. To this extent, they will be able to connect with each other like cells of one body and organize more correctly in order to bestow upon the Creator. Then, at least this part of the broken body of Adam HaRishon will come to life and pull the other parts after it, causing the correction of all the systems of this common soul.¹

In order to reach the Creator’s palace, we need to unite and build it. The hidden palace of the Creator does not exist; it will appear only if we build it. And so, we build one vessel from our selfish desires. We all feel mutual rejection and do not want to unite. This is our nature. But if atop this nature we demand the power of unity from the Creator, then He draws us together, glues and dresses in the vessel created by Him.

All this is called the work of the Creator, but it is generated by our demand. Therefore, we must join the group and feel what kind of mutual rejection that we experience. But this hatred cannot be felt unless we have made efforts to unite and have revealed that we are incapable of doing so. By fighting rejection, we build our common appeal to the Creator, demanding He unite us. And if our request has reached the right force, depth, and number of people asking, that is, a ten, if we are able to demand it, then the Creator does the work.

Therefore, the whole work of a person is to bring about the work of the Creator. We oblige the Creator to complete this work, and He performs; as it is said: “My sons defeated Me.” Children ask and the Creator does, just as we fulfill the requests of our children. Children know how to beg from their parents, and we need to learn from them how to beg the Creator so that He can do His work. He is waiting for us to ask.

Therefore, we are going to the congress to build an appeal to the Creator, called prayer, asking Him to correct what He has broken. But when we ask for corrections, we begin to learn what our defect is, what we need to ask for, how the Creator should correct us, how we will feel the perfect state inside the corrected vessel made up of selfish desires, and how then He will fill this vessel with the force of love and unity.

It turns out that we use each fragment of the vessel, deliberately shattered to let us learn, assembling it as if from Lego pieces like children who, thanks to this, develop and grow until they receive a real spiritual Kli.

Therefore, the Creator says: “You have made Me.” We create the Creator by assembling the vessel from broken fragments, that is, from ourselves, asking the Creator to connect us and fulfill us.²

Obviously, we are unable to exit our egoism. It is impossible to do anything with it. But if we try to include the strength of our friends in us, then everyone receives the strength of everyone, and only on this condition can we overcome our evil inclination.

After all, evil was created in us as a result of breaking the connection between us when we were in the system of Adam HaRishon. Therefore, when the connection was broken, our evil became ten times greater than the individual strength of connection of each one. That is why evil in the world exceeds all the forces of good.

But if we join together with a small force of bestowal of each one of us, then our power of bestowal becomes greater than the egoistic forces that arose during the shattering, and we can provide this force of bestowal to the Creator so that He can reveal Himself.³

Mutual integration has a unique property. Although I alone had a single force in the system of Adam HaRishon, after the Creator broke us, I integrate with everyone above the force of separation. And then each of us becomes ten times stronger than the force of connection that existed in this system of Adam HaRishon. If we were in the first degree in the system of Adam HaRishon, today, after the correction, each of us can rise to the tenth degree.⁴

Working against the desire, we cry, we do not rejoice. It is difficult to work against the desire and nobody wants it. If I hoped to gain something, I would work with joy. But if I do not see any gain and work without desire, then I am sad.

“Divinity is present only in a whole place, and not in a deficient place or a flawed place or a place of sadness, but in a proper place—a place of joy .” It is written: “Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with singing. There is no service of the Creator unless out of joy.” It is so written in The Book of Zohar.

After all, this means that we want to work. If I do and shed tears, then it is not considered that I did something because it is not the action itself that counts in spirituality but the intention. And intention is measured only by joy, according to my desire: whether I want to work or not. If I work forcedly, under a stick, then it is generally not considered that I worked. I can do many actions during my life in this world and it will not be considered that I did anything. After all, I did not do everything of my own accord.

This is a very big problem; we need to pay attention to it. Otherwise, you will ask: “I have done so much, sacrificed so much! Where is my reward?” But did you really earn a reward? Did you really want to give, and love, connect to others, integrate with them? Or did you do your duty working without desire, without intention, so this work does not count? Therefore, many leave this world with the same thing with which they came, that is, empty-handed.

The Creator can only be served in joy, only if I want to be a bestower. But I do not want and cannot bestow? Right. The Creator deliberately made it so that I could not. Ask Him for the power of bestowal. Why didn’t you ask? Don’t let go of Him until you get it.

And when you receive the force of bestowal and see how the whole world needs your help and can receive it only through you, you will be happy about your every action. Everything is going well, we just lack the understanding that we need to demand from the Creator the force of bestowal, to whine and beg from Him like a little child.⁵From the World Kabbalah Convention 2020, “Connecting To The Root of Life,” “Day One” 2/25/20, “We Have Gathered Here,” Lesson 1

“We Have Gathered Here”

Spirituality can only be reached through connection. We are in the spiritual world, but we do not feel it because we only feel ourselves.

Therefore, we need to make a leap in our perception, transfer it from the personal one, in which everyone feels themselves in this world, to the feeling of existence within the upper force of bestowal and love, which connects all of us together into one vessel, one desire.

All souls extend from the soul of Adam HaRishon because after the sin with the Tree of Knowledge this soul was divided into 600,000 souls. And one light that filled this vessel, this single great desire, was divided into many parts, many bodies, individual desires.

That is why we see this world consisting of billions of people with conflicting, disconnected desires. If we want to reveal the spiritual world, the world of truth, we must connect.

That is why the first lesson of the World Kabbalah Convention 2020 is called “We Have Gathered Here” because there is really nothing else that can be done. If we gather and connect into one soul, as it was before the shattering of Adam HaRishon, before the sin of the Tree of Knowledge, we will return to the upper world, to the spiritual state, becoming again the first man Adam.

Therefore, a person has nothing to do in this world, except to look for ways to connect with others. Of course, this is against our nature, there is nothing more repulsive and opposite to it, and therefore, we do not want to hear about it.

Yet, the Creator, the upper light, influences us again and again with infinite patience, in order to teach us that nothing will change for the better until we decide to connect in a good way.

This is how humanity learns. People do not yet understand what is happening to them, but the impressions of the global crisis and growing problems penetrate our sensory organs, our memory, and whether we want it or not, they make us wiser, more experienced. One day we will be wise enough to agree that there is no way out but to connect.

However, if we study the wisdom of Kabbalah, it becomes clear to us what needs to be done. After all, we reveal not only the disease and its cause, which comes from human egoism, but also the remedy that allows us to escape egoism. If I suffer so much because of it, then I need to get rid of it.

The wisdom of Kabbalah helps us in this, we just need to organize a small group of like-minded people and attract the reforming light. Kabbalah teaches us how our desires can connect with each other and work together, and perform actions called “restriction,” “screen,” “reflected light,” “Zivug de Hakaa” (coupling while striking), and “reception for the sake of bestowal.”

By studying what happens in our desires, we gradually correct ourselves. When we learn and talk about it, the force that gradually changes us is shining upon us.

As it is written, “Penny by penny joins into a great amount.” We have a system that can include us in itself, connect us, and draw the reforming light that will influence us. Even if we do not really want it now, in the end, we will demand that the force of bestowal, altruistic relationships above our egoism, will be revealed between us.

All souls come from the one soul of Adam created by the Creator. After Adam‘s sin with the Tree of Knowledge, that is, after the shattering of this single desire, which ceased to be like the Creator losing its altruistic intention and becoming egoistic, it was divided into 600,000 private souls.

The one light that filled Adam HaRishon in the Garden of Eden, that is, in the state when he was connected into one soul and held within himself the force of bestowal, Bina, disappeared after the shattering, and only a tiny spark of it remained in each part.

Now, when we find ourselves inside bodies that were added to the broken parts of the soul, we feel the inclination to connect all the spiritual sparks together. That is why we are gathering and working on our connection, thus bringing back the upper light that will shine within us.

When the light returns, it becomes 620 times stronger than before because we are acting against the distance that appeared between us and therefore, we reach adhesion with the upper force, with the Creator.

One common desire was on the degree of Bina, which is called the soul and when it shattered it fell down to the degree of Malchut. We need to collect all the particles that fell into Malchut and raise them to Bina, the Garden of Eden. Malchut is called this world and Bina is called the next world.

Therefore, through our connection, we must raise ourselves from this world, in which we feel ourselves now to the future world, to the degree of Bina, where we will feel our existence as eternal, perfect without any hardships and problems, all of us together, permeated with the force of bestowal and love for each other.

The upper light intensifies its glow all the time, and when we feel this illumination from the spiritual force of bestowal and love, we feel more and more opposite to it. It turns out that every day we feel worse and worse, the world becomes more and more corrupted. There is nothing left but to correct ourselves and become like the force of bestowal that shines upon us from above.

That is why we see this world in crisis, helpless, and not understanding what is happening. Perhaps tomorrow all the volcanoes on earth will wake up and start spewing billions of tons of ash into the atmosphere so that we will not see the sun. The world will freeze and sink into darkness.

We ourselves activate these forces because we live in an integral system and we must know how to bring the forces of nature into balance. If we become kind to each other, then nature will become kinder to us.

There is no other way to influence inanimate matter, plants and animals, these forces in nature, if not through a human. A person is a thought, an intention. The physical body is just an animal, but by our attitude toward each other, we can elevate ourselves to a higher degree: from animalistic level to human level. The human being, “Adam” means “similar to the Creator.”

Therefore, we must understand that all the disasters and problems in the world are sent specifically to oblige us to move and begin to put the world in order, establishing a balance in it. To do this, we just need to get closer to each other and work on your egoism.

Then from the human level, from the highest level of nature, we will oblige all the other forces of nature that are below us on the animal, vegetative, and inanimate levels to come into balance, and the whole world will find peace and happiness.

The state of our world Bnei Baruch group is exceptional; after all, out of all the billions of individual souls, we were chosen to be in the system of Israel, that is, the system directed “straight to the Creator,” which pulls all of humanity to correction.

Coronavirus Vaccine

The coronavirus has already spread to eighty countries, and shows us how much we depend on each other. We are searching for the way these viruses are transmitted from one person to another through airplanes or physical contact.

But in fact, they do not spread in this way but through our thoughts. After all, we are connected in a single field, and if I think badly of you, then with my thoughts I awaken thoughts in you that cause all kinds of manifestations and consequences in you.

This phenomenon is known to people who are engaged in international security. The science of Kabbalah explains that our thoughts possess either the most destructive power or are the kindest of all the forces of nature. But unfortunately, we are acting using only destructive thoughts.

Therefore, neither preventive measures in the fight against coronaviruses nor the invention of new antibiotics will help us. If not this virus, then another one will appear. We must finally understand that we need to cure the relationships between people. If our relationships and thoughts become good, then no virus will break through.

Unkind thoughts about others or disunity clothe into the human body and manifest as disease. This is a disease at the highest level, which we are unable to defend ourselves against because we do not have power over our thoughts. We do not know who is thinking about what, and we cannot control even our own thoughts.

Therefore, this is a big problem. One must be taught how to control one’s thoughts so that they are good for everyone. This is the only way we can defeat all viruses. For such correction, we need the science of Kabbalah; there is no other way.

After all, human egoistic nature makes us think only about ourselves. Therefore, a special science, a unique method, and work in a group are needed to teach a person to think about others. It seems so simple, but it is the absolute opposite of human nature.

As we begin to correct ourselves, we will see that the world is changing in relation to us. We will begin to feel that there is a special power around us called the upper light, which acts and organizes the whole world in the best possible way. We enter this force and live in it, and then we have no fear of any coronaviruses or other diseases.

Not too long ago, we held a large international Kabbalistic convention in Tel Aviv. Every day there was a fear that the Ministry of Health would forbid us to attend the congress.

After all, this was a huge meeting with more than 5,000 people gathering together in a big city, sitting together, hugging, eating at the same table, breathing the same air, and spending three days in the same room. All the air was filled with different viruses, but no one was infected.

This is because through our connection we made the most correct and effective vaccination and disinfection. This can serve as an example for humanity of how the power of unity cleanses, settles and sanctifies everything.

By the fact that we want to unite in a single thought, for the sake of one goal, we create a force field, each with our own thought. Thought is power. Connecting all our forces, we create a force field, which is the highest of all fields existing in the world, physical or biological.

If we set this field above ourselves and want it to connect us, all of us wanting to connect with this field, and become “as one man with one heart,” all as friends and brothers, then nothing can harm us.

This is how it works, because one’s thought is the highest impact one can make. Therefore, it destroys all the viruses existing below him at lower levels: inanimate, vegetative, and animate. This field radiates love and unity, which together create a global positive force that destroys all negative factors.

Therefore, there is nothing to fear. We can drink poison, and if we are aimed in the right connection with the spiritual field, then nothing can harm us. People can protect themselves by being in good contact with us, and then they will constantly receive an antivirus that will protect them from disease. I wish you all good health!

Take Care Of Wider And Wider Circles Of Humanity

The entire universe comes from one single point. Thus, the Creator, the upper force of bestowal, is revealed in relation to the created beings. The Creator is the central point of all creation. The wisdom of Kabbalah has emerged from all the attainments of the upper force that the human being has ever achieved. If we follow the advice of the Kabbalists, we can achieve the same revelations. Kabbalah is a genuine, practical wisdom that deals with the revelation of the Creator.

We can only see what we receive from the Creator, and this is the basis of our entire wisdom. This is how we discover what prevents us from revealing the Creator: our egoism, the desire to enjoy, which limits us. At first, we do not feel any hindrance in egoism. Yet, when we try to recognize and feel the upper force acting upon us and to feel the barrier, the inability to perceive it with our heart and mind, then we understand that the cause is in the egoistic force, which resists the revelation of the Creator.

But after correction, the force of egoism turns from evil, harmful, and concealing into the opposite, into the revealing force, and becomes our helper. By restricting this egoism, covering it with a screen, and raising the reflected light, we can reveal the Creator in this light: the quality of bestowal, love, and connection—all those properties that we do not have by nature.

Thus, the concealing force becomes the force of revelation, the force of rejection becomes the force of connection, and we find ourselves standing before the Creator. At the same time, we find out that we have become similar to Him after all the corrections we have received. This is how our connection with the Creator is revealed. As we gradually attain the degrees of perfection, we come to know the Creator, and in accordance with this, we feel that all the light, the whole common soul, shines in each of us.

Therefore, the force of rejection is necessary; after all, it is because of it that all revelation later takes place.¹

If I am afraid to fall, I must always take care of the ways to renew our connection. The force of inertia does not work here. As soon as I cease to make an effort, I immediately stop. So even to stay in the same state, I have to think about renewing it every second. Even more so if I want to strengthen this state, I must constantly look for ways to add love, connection, and awaken others to feel a new taste, additional strength.

Fearing a descent, I keep adding effort, and every second I feel a little more air, more taste. This is a very important feeling that you constantly add and taste in the addition.²

To the extent that I think about the advancement of the group, I accelerate my advancement in spirituality. By expanding my spiritual vessel (Kli) more and more and taking care of wider and wider circles until it covers all of humanity, I move faster and faster. This is a very simple system; the only problem is that the egoism does not allow us to act.³

Impressions From The 2020 Israel Congress

Question: What are your impressions of the past congress?

Answer: This congress will be felt by us for a very long time to come. We cannot yet evaluate it. There has been a powerful and serious connection between people, groups, and, I would say, continents. Moreover, it happened at a time when the whole world is in panic from a spreading virus and other problems: “What will happen to us?”

I think it is a wonderful time. We live in a special era. For the first time in human history, we are entering a new state, a feeling, awareness of the upper world.

It was only revealed once in a small group of people when they came out of Egypt. However, what is going to happen now, starting from scratch, in all the nations of the world after the shattering, mingling, and so on, is, of course, a special state.

I am very happy about it. You have no idea how great, special, and lucky you are. After all, out of billions, a small group of several thousands of people have been chosen. It’s amazing.

Now the post-congress period begins. It’s time for overcoming, and time for real work. Certain falls and descents are inevitable. In fact, the descent is a special state of the soul and body when it grinds, chews, and absorbs what it has received.

And we have had a lot of impressions. We could not even get through them. We grabbed them with, what is called, our mouth open. Now, these impressions are gradually accumulating in our mind and soul, slowly starting to be stored in a certain archive.

Using the absorbed material, we are already climbing to the next stage. All our previous knowledge receives elevation.

Prepare For The Convention—Invest In Your Soul

By investing in preparation for the convention, a person invests in his or her soul. It is unfortunate that not everyone understands this.

When a person comes to study the science of Kabbalah, one still does not understand where one has arrived. It seems that this is just some kind of a course where one will gain new knowledge and understanding—one will learn and then leave. A person fails to realize that the science of Kabbalah is unlike all other sciences that leave us in the same world where we live with our relatives in a familiar reality. We do not realize that we enter the door that opens to a new reality. And we receive there not after death, but during this life by expanding our perception, and as a result, start to feel reality at a different level.

This is not a simple extension of impressions like the difference between the perception of a dog and a person where a person understands what is happening to a dog and a dog cannot understand the intentions of a person. Here, we talk about a totally different reality, that is, all the forces acting upon us on a spiritual level are revealed to a person. The common force is called the Creator, and we will learn how to connect with Him and establish mutual relations: He bestows to me and I bestow to Him.

This perception does not change with the death of the body. The bodily state has no effect on the spiritual state of a person because one reaches the perception of the true reality.

A person who has come to study knows nothing about this, and even if this is explained to him, he will still not understand since this goes beyond one’s perception and sensation. Now we have been given the opportunity to move on to the perception of a new, spiritual reality: to feel the force with which we must work and establish mutual connection.

And all this depends on how we now increase our common strength together. It is not a matter of everyone’s individual strength. Specifically when a person breaks free from internal isolation and wants to exit oneself to one’s friends, to one’s group, to the world, a person gradually acquires a new perception and feels that outside of oneself there is a force, the Creator, who fills everything. To do this, one needs the help of one’s group, one’s friends, because a person is not able to exit oneself alone and needs external power.

Therefore, a person forces himself to be in a group, to connect with his friends and follow the majority even against his desire because it is clear that from birth, he has had no desire for bestowal and unity. If one manages to do this with help from above, then the person will continue. But many cannot endure and quit. This work requires a lot of patience and, most importantly, not to leave.

There is no other way to get to the truth; otherwise, you will end your life without becoming a person (Adam). The choice is yours. The Creator pushes everyone, but only to a certain border beyond which pressure is no longer possible. Otherwise, you will not be a human being but an angel, that is, a spiritual animal.

Therefore, you need to put yourself in a clear, iron-clad framework and not allow yourself to escape it. In this way, we provide the Creator with an opportunity to work on us. Part of the work is entrusted to us, and the other part will be performed by the Creator. But the Creator works only under the condition that we have completed our part; that is, we have attended the lessons and participated in them to the extent that we could and even beyond, until we have filled up the measure of the effort that was assigned to us.

Our time is special because everyone is looking for a way out of a corporeal and spiritual crisis. A man or woman in the modern world, with all their intellect, achievements in science and high technology, is entangled in worthless games and vile addictions. The Creator pushes us to spiritual development and that is why He disallows our successful development in the corporeal world. As a result of our development, each time we find ourselves in a deeper crisis in order to finally understand that only our egoism is the main enemy that disturbs our life. If we do not correct it, we will never live a happy life. Each temporary improvement will be inevitably followed by a fall, a war, or a catastrophe.

Therefore, the whole world must understand where we are, where we must go, and how we can advance toward this goal designated by nature. What does nature, the Creator, the upper force want from us?

Our group Bnei Baruch has clarified the final steps before entering Lishma (bestowal) and is right on the threshold of spirituality. Of course, it is not easy to take this last step in Lo Lishma and the first step in Lishma—this is the Machsom, the border of the upper world. But we are approaching it and starting to feel the transition from the state of receiving to bestowal, that is, from the power of the egoistic force to the desire to be under the influence of the force of bestowal.

The egoistic force does not disappear; rather, it is balanced by the altruistic force added to it. Then we will work with two forces of nature: the negative and the positive, the egoistic force of the created being and the altruistic force of the Creator, which clothes in us.

And all this work is possible only through the environment. That is why Adam HaRishon, the system of creation created by the Creator from the desire to enjoy, is shattered. And we want to be people, that is, children of Adam, and restore this system, reconnect it. We connect it with the help of the Creator who shattered this system and is ready to fix it at our request. And due to this work, we become similar to the Creator and merge with Him.

This is our state before the convention, which poses a unique, inspirational task in front of us: to enter the spiritual world, the first sensation of the upper reality that is beyond our current thoughts and desires. This is a very exciting anticipation, a heavenly aspiration out of this world, because we are entering the true state that exists in nature. And today, we are in the preparation stage, which is created artificially and actually does not exist in nature. This world is needed only in order to reach correction in it.

We gather in the convention to celebrate our entrance into spirituality, which is in front of us. Therefore, we need even greater unity and mutual guarantee for each other. Without the friends, none of us can do anything; every advancement takes place only due to connection and unity.¹

African Unity—The Key To Their Real Freedom

Egypt, the land of slavery for the people of Israel, is located in Africa. Africa is the birthplace of Pharaoh, global egoism. 400 years of Egyptian exile enabled the people of Israel to receive the Torah and to reveal the Creator. Therefore, all the nations that developed in Africa and became enslaved no longer to Pharaoh, like the Jews, but to the European nations in America, are more prepared for the correction of the soul. I hope that soon we will see that people in Africa are more receptive to the method of Kabbalah.¹

The whole of humanity needs the science of Kabbalah in order to reveal the upper force. Thus, all of human development has been accompanied by problems, disasters, plagues, and wars all in order to force a person to think about the meaning of his life—what are we living for? Humanity could find no answer to this question until the science of Kabbalah became revealed and provides the answer that the moment we attain the upper force which controls our whole life, we realize what we live for and what the essence of our life is.

The question is how to reveal this single upper force that governs the universe. We have no means of changing our lives except with the help of the upper force. The moment we reveal the upper force, we receive the answers to our questions. This is the uniqueness of the science of Kabbalah, the method of revealing the upper force, which gives the answers to everything.²

The consequences of European colonization are still felt in Europe. Slavery has been long abolished, but European countries still try to use the natural and human resources in Africa and ignite conflicts there by selling them weapons and facilitating emigration. This is a difficult issue for Africa, but I feel that Africans will eventually understand that only through unity of all can they achieve the upper force. Then they will feel free rather than oppressed as they do to this day.

This solution for Africa can only come from the science of Kabbalah and nothing else. The genuine freedom of Africa is impossible without the sensation of spiritual freedom. After all, the African nations have always had financial independence, but European and other countries from all over the world have always meddled in their lives. Nothing will help until the Africans feel genuine, spiritual freedom.

They will then have the power to resist those who are trying to influence them, and will be able to feel inner freedom not just from the Europeans, but from all external powers, from philosophies foreign to Africa.

It is impossible to achieve freedom before establishing connection with the Creator. Until then, it will only be imaginary, material freedom. We can call the African nations free even now since there are no slaves there, but they are still being exploited, used in all sorts of ways. It happens all over the world as each country wants to use the other and squeeze all the natural resources out of it.

In this regard, African countries are no different from other states. Anyone who wants to become independent nowadays must reach closer, correct connection with the Creator. Freedom in the upper world will bring us freedom in this world because this is not just spiritual, forces are projected down upon us allowing us to stand up against everyone. Then, nobody will be able to hurt us.

It is enough to look at the people of Israel and their path. Various nations tried to oppress and destroy them throughout history from Pharaoh onward. But no one succeeded in ruling over the people of Israel, not Pharaoh, the German Nazis, the Spanish Inquisition, the Russian Tzar, etc. This is because Jews have a connection with the upper force. I advise the same for the African nations: to receive the same support from above and then nobody will be able to harm them.

There are many different religions in Africa, but the science of Kabbalah contradicts none of them; it only explains how to achieve connection with the upper force, which is above all faiths and religions, through unity. Such unity, which existed a long time ago among the people of Israel, kept the nation together to this day and disallowed their becoming slaves to any nation.³

Evoke Envy In The Friends

Question: I see that no one in the group follows the good example you want to show. What should be the example and how can one see that it is really perceived and followed?

Answer: Through envy.

Question: It does not work. They aren’t envious. Why?

Answer: It means that you are not working correctly with your friends. You have to evoke envy. There is no way that envy does not work.

You just need to find out what or whom a person can envy so that they will be unable to escape from feeling it. He can say: “It does not matter, he is a beginner, does not understand anything, and this one has been studying for 30 years, what can I do?”

It has to be done in a way to make a person jealous of any envy: white, black— no matter what. This is the only way.
