What Did I Do To Deserve This?

laitman_600.02People often ask: “Why do such troubles happen to me?” A person might get fired, be stricken by a serious illness, or experience the death of a loved one, and he starts wondering: “What did I do to deserve this?” I have heard it a thousand times from people who came to seek advice from me.
In fact, it is impossible to find out why a disaster occurred; one should not dig into the past searching for a reason, as if there is a connection between our actions, reward or punishment. If I try to connect the past and future, building a causal chain, that would be a very simplistic, material approach. It is how we talk to small children who are unable to grasp any more than that. As a child grows up (at 12-13 years old), he must develop a different way of thinking.
I do not know why certain things happen to me—it depends on the root of my soul. Each state is something completely new at every moment. Whatever happened in the past has no bearing on the future, everything depends on a common system for all of humanity, on the common soul. Everything comes to me from there and I am interconnected with an infinite number of variables that affect my destiny.
Quite possibly, parts of the soul that are very distant from me determine what is happening to me at this moment. Conversely, I can be the reason for what is happening to them. After all, we are all connected in the one common soul of Adam.
Obviously, on a simple corporeal level, I can predict the consequences of my physical actions. But suddenly something happens and I lose a direct connection. It happens because we are unable to take into account all the variables in our lives. It seems to us that all the reasons should be evident, but it is not the case.
The question is, what can be done when a difficult situation arises? We must not look into the past, but work with the state we are given now. A person is renewed every moment, every day. There is no moment that is like another. These are spiritual laws. Commands come to us from the spiritual world without any connection with what one does in this world.
This shatters our entire previous system of beliefs about reward and punishment and it forms a new system where we are connected with the real reasons—the upper governance that shapes our whole lives.
If something happens, do not look for the reason in the past. Even if I believe that I have found it, would it help me? Based on that, I will only make more mistakes in the future. Thus, it is best to say that each moment comes from above, based on the root of my soul. If I want to ensure a good, decent, and fast development for myself, I must affect the root of my soul so that only good directions come from there.
The past happened and sank into eternity; we are not concerned about it anymore. In my current state, I must look for greater connection with everyone. If I am not in a Kabbalistic group, among people who want to connect into the one common soul of Adam HaRishon, then I have no way of influencing my life. I will be merely executing the commands that come from the upper governance, not knowing where they come from.
If I want to connect with my spiritual root, I must be in the right environment in order to take care of the group and humanity, pulling them toward connection. Then the system that I am a part of, which is the source of all the commands, will be revealed to me.
If a tragedy occurs, one must not blame or devour himself. Instead, one must accept it as it is and from this state connect even more with the group. In order for this to happen, one must be among people who also want to influence, understand, and rise above their lives. It is possible.
We see that there is no reward or punishment for past deeds in this world. Criminals live beautiful lives while a simple worker, earning his bread by the sweat of his brow, suffers. Trying to find fairness means wasting your efforts in the wrong direction. There is nothing to learn from this world because it is built on falsehood.
The science of Kabbalah explains the only way to affect the world: to find a group of like-minded people and start uniting with them. Only by the power of our connection can we influence the upper force. Then it will change reality for all of us.
We can create such a revolution without a single soldier or shot fired, without any violence, only on account of the upper force. If we unite in a ten, we awaken the upper force to correct us and all of humanity.
Our reward is in our unity and the sensation of the ten of us as a single unit. Our punishment is in our inability to achieve that. Then, whatever happens to me, even the worst thing imaginable, I will say that it came from above and that it is the best thing possible because it pushes me toward love and connection with my ten. Every moment is a new life, a new state that I have to work with inside my ten. In this case, anything sent my way will be perceived as good.
I build my soul inside the ten. Ten friends trying to unite (“friend” –  “Haver” from the word “connection” –  “Hibur”), build such a mechanism between them called “a soul.” In the soul, they reveal the force of love and bestowal, unity, that which controls the whole universe. That is why it is called the upper force. Our whole lives, all events lead us toward the realization of this goal.

What Will Happen To The Common Soul If Humanity Dies Out?

laitman_600.02Question: What will happen to the common soul if all of humanity comes to a global catastrophe and becomes completely extinct?
Answer: Do not worry, humanity will not come to total extinction, although a portion of humanity could. Therefore, we need to think about helping people start the process of correction before a problem occurs.
In principle, the state of complete correction already exists in a spiritual form. The only thing we can do is to quickly implement it and be in it.

Two Incarnations Of A Great Soul

Baal HaSulam is the greatest Kabbalist of our time. It is very difficult to speak of such a tremendous force because we do not really understand what it means to be a Kabbalist. He lives alongside us and at the same time in a different world. A Kabbalist actually lives in two worlds.
For a Kabbalist there is no confusion. He sees the upper world and the lower world. But what interests him most is their interdependence: how it is possible to make corrections in the upper world from the lower world such that it again influences the lower world and our world rises to the level of the upper. This is the task of every Kabbalist.
A Kabbalist is coming from that desire which characterizes him in the general system of the soul called “Adam.” Each of us has a different root. It is called “point of reference” or “point in the heart.” And that’s why each reveals the upper world in their own unique way.
However, all points in the heart reveal this system in a relatively similar fashion. Nonetheless, all those who wrote prior to Baal HaSulam, for example, had a very difficult time writing a commentary to The Book of Zohar.
And prior to the appearance of The Book of Zohar, no one was able to write anything even resembling it, despite the fact that many Kabbalists knew more than Rabbi Shimon. They just couldn’t describe it the way he could.
That is, in Kabbalah there are many such conditions: you can be great, a spiritual genius, but cannot describe anything, you simply don’t have the ability.
But Baal HaSulam had both of these qualities. It’s amazing! In the entire history of Kabbalah there was practically no Kabbalist with such ability.
Moses was the greatest Kabbalist, and still the Five Books written by him are written in such a way and in such language that everyone can interpret them in any way they want.
And what was written by the Ari in his work The Tree of Life cannot be understood at all; here, a clear attainment of the spiritual world is necessary for one to even begin to understand what he is talking about. In this book, purely physical data are laid out, just as in any physics textbook.
That’s why when the Ari started to teach, the only one who was able to appreciate him was a great Kabbalist of his own time, the Ramak. He sent all the other students to the Ari as well, emphasizing that this material is something new. But neither they, nor he, were able to understand the system of the Ari, not even to the day he died. And that’s because the Ramak belonged to the previous generation of souls, those who came into this world prior to the Ari.
That’s why Baal HaSulam openly says: “All that I attained, I attained following the Ari’s soul incarnating in me,” in other words, he was the Ari’s next incarnation. What is meant here is not the physical body, since it doesn’t exist and neither does our world. The only thing that exists is the shattered, scattered desire in a tremendous egoistic space.
In this space there are drops, like raisins in a cake that have inclinations toward unity, toward adhesion with the Creator. But we don’t feel these inclinations because we exist in an ocean of egoism, we sit in this dough, that’s why we don’t even sense our ego. Each “raisin,” each point in the heart, constantly undergoes all types of corrections.
Baal HaSulam happens to have been the outcome of that same “raisin,” which was the Ari, that same soul who was the Ari, who continued his work. This is called an “incarnation.” In other words, this is not a separate soul, but that same soul continuing its work, only under different conditions, in a different generation.
And what does a “generation” mean? It is not what happens to us in our world. When many points in the heart, embryos of a soul, even though they are changing constantly, while they still exist in a wrong kind of connection between them, they imagine themselves ostensibly experiencing our world.
That’s why it is most important that we think not of this world, presenting itself to us through our five animal sensory systems, but instead about that which is happening through the point in the heart.
Question: When a soul reincarnates, is the individuality preserved?
Answer: The soul engages through various external conditions. The Ari brought into our world The Tree of Life. The next time that same Ari came, he was called Baal HaSulam and brought into our lives Talmud Eser Sefirot.
Question: In other words, he held the same spiritual level of attainment as the Ari?
Answer: Even greater.

Why Do I Get All of This?

laitman_555Question: Why do numerous troubles pour onto those who live virtuously, never hurt anybody, and make every effort to help the others? Is it a punishment for their prior lives?
Answer: People came up with many theories about punishments for their prior lives and future rewards. In fact, nobody knows why we get blows from destiny.
We all depend on each other. We all are in one network. All of us represent one common soul of Adam; we are one whole! The overall system we exist in is called “Adam.”
Each of the system’s parts is responsible for the others. Our body works similarly: if there is a wound on the foot, it hurts the whole body aches and can’t think of anything besides the wound. In this case, head and nerves depend on the sore foot. Our interdependence extends to this degree.
Our world is an integral system. That’s why it is necessary to improve the entire world, mend our inclusion into each other and the rest of souls. If you do, you begin sensing yourself in a perfect and absolutely comfortable state.
Question: What does the correction of our inclusion in other souls mean?
Answer: It signifies the state of “loving thy neighbor as thyself.” Before we completely correct ourselves, entirely and mutually, we will continue asking questions about the reasons for earthly afflictions without being able to find suitable answers.

The Physical And Spiritual World

Laitman_712_03Question: How does the physical world influence the spiritual world?
Answer: It doesn’t. Everything descends from top to bottom: the upper world affects the lower. But under certain conditions, we can influence the upper world, and through it—the material world.
As we correct our egoistic desires, we affect the properties we have mastered—the properties of bestowal and love. By matching these properties with the altruistic properties of the common soul, through it, we influence the impact it has on our world.
Question: Is there danger that by bringing oneself closer to the Creator and mastering the governing system, Kabbalists could abuse their knowledge?
Answer: It is impossible, because when you fall from the property of bestowal and love you immediately lose your connection with the upper world and, therefore, its impact on our world.

The Sin Of Adam Is The Cause Of All Of Our Troubles

laitman_929Question: Why in these days, from the beginning of Rosh Hashanah, is a completely unique atmosphere felt?
Answer: These are days of judgment, and we see this when we look at the events that are happening in Europe and Israel. The world requires our correct participation.
In the days of judgment we need to judge ourselves, our behavior, our deeds, to clarify the cause for all of the failures and the unfavorable fate.
It is always necessary to examine ourselves in relation to the origin, and our origin isAdam HaRishon (the First Man). The sin of Adam HaRishon is the reason for everything that happened after it.
Twenty generations after Adam, one of the great sages of ancient Babylon Abraham began the correction of the sin of Adam HaRishon; he called for all the Babylonians to unite and rise above the mutual hatred, which is called the Tower of Babel that led to a crisis.
Some of the Babylonians heard the call of Abraham and joined him. Abraham taught his students “to love your neighbor as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18), so that love will cover all crimes, over all hatred. So Abraham gathered a group that later evolved into the people of Israel.
These events are directly related to what is happening today. After so many events we have experienced throughout history, we are still in the same situation of Adam HaRishon; we must correct his sin.
The people of Israel were chosen from among all the other peoples for this purpose because they had the desire for unity, spirituality.
These are a unique people possessing a unique desire, a special readiness of mind and soul that can achieve such a unity between them by which the whole world is then united. The great Kabbalist Baal HaSulam wrote about this in the article, “Introduction to The Book of Zohar.”
The sin of Adam is the basis of the breakup of humanity, all of its suffering and troubles. All of our problems come from this sin because of which one great desire, one soul, was shattered into a multitude of fragments. In each one of us there is a tiny fragment of the collective soul.
If eight billion people are living in the world today, there is a part of the soul of Adam HaRishon, of Adam in each one of them. So we need to connect with each other so that all of these parts will merge together.
But the realization of this function isn’t imposed upon eight billion but upon the people of Israel. If the people of Israel will correct themselves and unify according to the conditions of “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” then all the nations of the world will automatically be integrated within it.
This is specifically what Abraham taught the ancient Babylonians who joined him and created the people of Israel. They were selected from all of the humanity that existed then, when for the first time the shattering, the first crisis after the shattering of Adam was discovered.
Abraham gathered around him all those who wanted to correct the primordial sin. These were unique people who yearned for the goal of creation, the attainment of the meaning of life, and Abraham taught them the method of connection and unity.

When You Correct Everyone, You Correct Yourself

laitman_929Baal HaSulam, “600,000 Souls”: “Even if one man came before his Master in complete repentance, the Messiah King would come at once.” This means that whoever it was, even if it were only one man in the generation who was rewarded with extending that soul by himself, he will be able to reward his whole generation, since all who are obliged, exempt the public through their duty, and he can do much praying and hold his own until he rewards his entire generation.
In the article “600,000 Souls” Baal HaSulam tells us about the structure of the soul in its whole and integral form, when all its parts are mutually interdependent, when they are not separate parts but a whole structure that we see as split up, broken, and scattered to great distances only because of our corrupt ego.
The truth is that we are all in one wonderful system, in one soul called Adam. At first this structure was called Adam HaRishon (First Man), and it was the structure that the Creatorcreated, and then it broke.
We have to reconstruct this structure, which means to reach the same feeling, the same recognition, but by ourselves. This is the reason that we don’t attain Adam HaRishon’sform but the form of Adam that is 620 times more understanding and who feels the Creator inside him.
Because all the parts are interdependent and connected to one another each one corrects everyone, because one part cannot be corrected without correcting its incorporation in all the other parts, until they all respond to it and become incorporated in it.
This is the reason that each part becomes whole only if the whole structure is whole. In this structure there are different important roles, but these roles are fulfilled in the mutual incorporation. There are prophets and Moses as their head, priests, and Levites—Kabbalists of all the generations who have already reached the attainment of the whole soul and are incorporated in it, which means in roles that are different spiritual levels according to their importance in the system.
There are several phases in the mutual incorporation: three times two thousand years, or125 levels. Each one has to be corrected so that everyone can be corrected. Only if each one corrects everyone except himself, can he thus correct himself. This is his intention.
He has to subdue himself before everyone in order to correct everyone. This is his role in taking care of them, in acceptance, in submission. On the other hand, he has to raise himself above everyone in order to see that everyone depends on him. After all, the Lord has chosen him and he has to correct himself because no one else can correct his part.
It makes no difference who he is: whether the one sitting behind the millstone stone or a prince. After all, there is an opposite correlation between the Lights and the vessels and in the general vessel all the parts are equally important with regard to the end of correction. If one part is not corrected, its incorporation with all the other parts is not corrected.
Consequently, all the other parts are not corrected because of this part and cannot correct their incorporation in the other parts either. It is a chain reaction, and eventually the whole system can be corrupted as a result of one small, uncorrected component.

The World Of One Soul

laitman_944Baal HaSulam, “The Peace”: Thus, in our world, there are no new souls the way bodies are renewed, but only a certain amount of souls that incarnate on the wheel of transformation of the form, because each time they clothe a new body and a new generation.
Therefore, with regard to the souls, all generations since the beginning of Creation to the end of correction are as one generation that has extended its life over several thousand years, until it developed and became corrected as it should be.
And the fact that in the meantime each has changed its body several thousand times is completely irrelevant, because the essence of the body’s self, called “the soul,” did not suffer at all by these changes.
Question: How does the population on earth keep growing if the number of the souls that reincarnate from one generation to the next is fixed?
Answer: The souls are divided according to the number of bodies. Basically there is one soul that is divided into many parts, but this division doesn’t really exist and we only perceive it that way.
In fact, reincarnation is a change of form of the desire to receive. There are many such reincarnations at every given moment.
There is only one soul, which seems broken. We see that it is dispersed in different bodies and divided into seven billion people and besides there are also animals, plants, and inanimate rocks. The whole world is part of the desire to receive that undergoes changes or reincarnations in their desire.
A Kabbalist writes about the reincarnations of the corrected desire that is equipped with an anti-egoistic Masach (screen).
Question: So what is the meaning of the corporeal world that we see, changing it in time?
Answer: The meaning of this world is to use it correctly to ascend to the spiritual level, that is, to add the spiritual essence to the corporeal picture that we see. By that we sanctify this world and it becomes spiritual.
We discover the connections between all the parts of creation: the inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature, and most importantly, the speaking that are increasingly more connected by ties of love and mutual support until we reach the picture of one whole reality.

Work In The Generation Of The Messiah

laitman_281_02All the work until the generation of the Messiah is in self-annulment, although there are differences according to the destiny of each soul. In every generation there are high souls that have special missions.
This continues until we reach the time of the Messiah, which we are in today. The whole world becomes on soul, one family, and so we have to perform actions according to the time we live in.
This doesn’t mean that we have to sit and wait for the Messiah and hope for some miracle from Above. There are no miracles. There is only one miracle: the spark that awakens in a person. Everything else depends on one’s efforts and on his work, and there are no concessions here on the part of the upper system. Our mission is to draw the Light that Reforms unto ourselves and to correct the incorporation of all in all.
Today it is fulfilled by dissemination, using all the opportunities we have.  After all, it is the most real and practical action of correction that we can perform. This is the reason that we cannot escape this work. We should understand that all our study and all the systems we have built are all meant only to continue the dissemination of the method of correction and connection.
This is the major part of our work through which we will be rewarded with a corrected soul and will attain the form of Adam (Man). Then we will discover what the height of 600,000souls that make that Malchut is. All the souls of Israel are included in Malchut of the world of Atzilut and rise with it to the height of GAR of Atzilut, called 600,000, ,which is 620 times greater, or the complete attainment from the minimal Light of Nefesh of Nefeshof Nefesh until the attainment of the complete Light of NRNHY.
This is our work, and the most important thing is not to forget that our mutual incorporation is the fulfillment of the correction. Its practical embodiment is the incorporation of the whole nation, as it says: “The Creator dwells among His people.” It is there that we find our corrections and the correction of our soul.
We must not forget that this requires continuous work and caring about people. There are different levels here: the still, vegetative, and animate nature and man, and even a poor beggar is as important as a prince. Those who are on the level of the whole nation have the power from their great mass of billions of people. On the level of the vegetative there are fewer parts, and there are even fewer on the animate level, while on the human level there are just a few.
Eventually we meet with the whole world, with all the people of all sorts that will later be clarified. We cannot identify them immediately. We see that people are ignited at first and then they cool off or that they follow the right path along a very thin line and then they suddenly divert and are attracted to an unknown direction.
We have to take care of everyone, like children, until they grow up. We must remember that it is actually thanks to this care that we correct ourselves and grow. We can attain the one soul only by dissemination; this is our mission.

The Twelve Tribes Of The Common Soul

Dr. Michael LaitmanThe Light emanates from the East, for there the sun rises. From there comes the eastern wind, the most harmful of all winds. From the west comes snow, hail, heat, frost, and heavy rains.
The South, a source of blessing of dew and rain. is the source of the blessed dew and rain. From the North is sent “darkness” and malicious forces.
(The Torah, “Bamidbar”)
The location of the banners of the camps of the Jews corresponds to the four sides of the Light.
A unified system called the common soul consists of twelve parts (the twelve tribes) that relate to and are connected with each other in accordance with the four sides of the world that signify the four parts – Hochma, Bina, Zeir Anpin and Malchut.
And the banners must stand against each other:
Bina – Hochma
Malchut – Zeir Anpin
Each part consists of 3 lines, a total of 12 parts (12 tribes). Their location represents the pairing of the vessel of the common soul.
The Torah specifies which banner they have to be under. The banner symbolizes the private purpose of each camp that has its own characteristics and properties. Therefore, the one common goal is expressed in them in a slightly different focus, from a different angle.
As an example, a human body consists of various organs. Each in their own way senses the body’s movements, supports, etc. In the same way, thanks to the variety of properties and the way they connect among each other, the properties of the general force, the Creator are shown.
The property of bestowal shows up as a result of huge egoistic differences. Bestowal is as absolute like a mother’s love: Do whatever you want; I still love you.

Soul—One For All?

Dr. Michael LaitmanQuestion: Does each person have a soul of his or her own or is there one common soul for all?
Answer: In fact, there is only one common soul that is shared by everyone. Each person perceives a different angle, from his or her part of this great soul. It is ready to be perceived by all of us.
The Creator made one desire to enjoy, as it is written: “I created the evil inclination.” And we must act together to correct all this evil. In any case, we all are bound together as one body of integral as one man with one heart. Therefore, we will correct it all together will to receive together and reach a state that is called “soul.”

Perceiving The Future Together

Question: Do animals feel nature as one system in which everything is connected?
Answer: Yes, they feel it at their level.
Question: And can they feel the future, for exactly that reason?
Answer: Animals can only feel some kind of threat to their life, but they are not able rise above the worry of their regular, beastly existence. This is called instinct.
Animals feel the connection to the general system, but for them it provides only the information at the level of animate. Animals know what will happen, thus they are more careful than men and their behavior is more logical.
Animals don’t make mistakes! They have all the required information in order to exist, which is called natural instinct. Man is lacking this.
Question: If I had such instinct, would it be possible that my life would be better? Maybe I wouldn’t be overdrawn at the bank, wouldn’t have an ulcer, and wouldn’t be living in constant tension.
Answer: That’s a good question. What is preferable? Since if you had such instinct, then you would be an animal and not a man. Animals have all the information for a good life, i.e., the feeling of connection with the goal of creation. And man doesn’t have this at all. Why? Because at the speaking level one doesn’t automatically receive connection to the goal of creation, but must acquire it through self development.
Every person has this potential, but one needs to advance gradually. You cannot catch the occasional passerby and begin to convince him that he needs to do this. A person needs to be ready for this. If he feels that he must know the future, then I am able to teach him how to do this.
Comment: I am ready for learning! I really must know the future because that will solve all the problems for me, and explain to me how to behave towards my children and my wife and what profession to choose.
Answer: You will know everything! If you have such a burning question that brings you to despair and demands a reply, then this is a sign that you can do this.
At the end of the course for integral education (the wisdom of connection), you will come to the sensation that all people are inseparable parts of the same system, without any difference between them, including yourself. And in the beginning, it is enough to reach this feeling towards a stranger, not towards a family member.
Question: Meaning, if I feel towards a stranger as I do myself, then based on that I will create within me the ability to see the future?
Answer: Yes. You will feel the integral sensation, exit from within your ego, and sense me, for example. You must feel me as you do yourself. If you are able to feel something outside yourself as yourself, then the whole of reality opens up before you. You open your senses and you can see all your surroundings in a real way.
Question: Why can’t I learn integral thought by myself with the help of my intellect, without needing someone else?
Answer: For whom do you exit yourself if not for someone else? This is not abstract philosophy, but it requires a lot of practice and many actions with whose help we examine all the “pros “ and “cons.” It isn’t simple. After all we need to exist beyond the feeling of our “I.” That is the first condition of integral thought.
When I exit my “I,” I begin to feel who is outside of me, and to the same extent, I feel everything else. I open the extent of my feelings, from the level of my five senses to a complete reality.

A Convention By The Method Of Abraham

Question: Will whoever comes to the congress find his soul and begin spiritual life?
Answer: He will try to do this. Perhaps, it will be accomplished not at one go, but he certainly will move in the right direction.
Therefore, Kabbalists invite many people from everywhere to their congress in order to unite together. We sing, dance, listen to talks, lectures, hold workshops in circles, and have  assemblies of friends (Yeshivat Haverim). Thousands of people gather from all over the world, from the most remote locations, such as Australia, New Zealand, South America, Japan, and China.
Kabbalists gather all these people together and teach them how to connect with each other in accordance with the same method, which was founded by our forefather Abraham.
So, we increase the power of our connection with each convention. Gradually we come to such a connection, which will be enough to reveal our next state, the higher degree, the spiritual world. This is the goal of Kabbalistic conventions.

How Can I Control the World?

Question: We often observe how there is a certain state of mind among people. The desire to change, lose weight, and the feelings of happiness or depression are transmitted through those airborne droplets. How can one perceive such sensations as personal sensations or as those imposed by the environment?
Answer: The more we delve into the nature of the system, the more we see that everything depends on everyone else. This is a deep, mutual relationship, consisting of thousands of relationships between us. Of course we do not realize it, but the connection remains; it is constant and can’t be ignored.
I can be separated, hidden on a desert island or in a deep forest, but as my distance from society grows, I condemn myself to a limited, miserable life. For example, if I were in space by myself, I would soon find that all of my senses had atrophied like a cell or a small piece of flesh that was cut off from the body.
The study of a measure of our communication with each other is very important because it puts us in a position that is relative to the true environment. First of all, it concerns human society and how I am supposed to be associated with it.
How can one discover such connections and learn how to feel them? In what form should we give and receive? in principle, that is our goal, and this means that we must study theintegrated system—the means to achieve a happy life.
Comment: When something in us is uncorrected and we feel the reason, then we instinctively begin to care for ourselves.
Answer: We do not have any physiological or mental illnesses, or personal, family, or common global problems. There is only the fault of the system in which we find ourselves. Therefore, we see that politics, economics, finance, and the lives of nations and peoples are mixed and depend on each other.
If I try to dominate someone, then I definitely get the opposite reaction. At one time, Europe wanted to rule Africa and Asia, but now it is at the mercy of its immigrants.
Question: So, if I have something uncorrected, should I look for the cause within myself?
Answer: The interesting thing is that I am not the reason for this! I do not blame myself for the fact that I am who I am or the entire system for the way it is. However, I can help change the system, and then it will affect me. Actually, the method of integral education gives people an understanding of how the world works and how it can be managed.
Question: Suppose that I realize my condition is caused by the general state of the system. What should I do with such an understanding?
Answer: You come into a group of people who want to improve their quality of life as you do. For example, there are ten of us, and we begin to communicate with each other through a variety of exercises and games.
If we will connect properly, then we start to feel the connection over our egoism, personal motives, and habits. Sometimes, this feeling arises in a group of people bound by a common mission or in a family in which personal interests are inferior to the collective.
At that moment when we connect and become as one, this “one” becomes an integral feeling. Through such feelings, we begin to pick up the integral force contained in the world, just as a satellite array absorbs signals from space.
Question: How can such information help me in life?
Answer: Society is a closed system. If small parts are balanced, like the tenth we talked about, it will certainly make all of human society healthier. People will gradually see that with this approach, it will be possible to correct all human shortcomings.

We Need To Pray For Everyone

Question: How do we direct ourselves correctly at the time of readingThe Book of Zohar to heal all the problems of every individual person, the people of Israel, and the whole world?
Answer: It is necessary to pray, to ask, to be integrated into the pain of the people closest to us and also those who are far away. But we don’t pray for a particular person who is sick, but for correction of the general illness that is revealed before us now through the problem of a particular person.
One should pray for general correction, because what we see is only a particular expression of the general problem. This is how the prayer must be organized.
Question: Why is a prayer for everyone more practical than a request for a particular person who is closer to my heart?
Answer: A request for a particular person is closer to your ego. On the one hand, you are stimulated more by what is closer to you. But on the other hand, what is the difference if the desire to bestow is bestowing to someone close or someone far away?
There are no limits to the Ohr Hassadim (Light of Mercy); it extends to all places with the same intensity. So why do you want to pray for someone in particular?
We know that everyone is connected with everyone and there is only one soul. So every defect that is revealed in someone is the result of the general illness. So how is it possible to heal a particular person without healing the general illness? It is necessary to pray for everyone.
If you are ready to correct everyone through your prayer, then the person in whom you saw some kind of illness will also be healed. Otherwise this doesn’t work. After all, we are in a global system, a single system. Suppose that someone is sick with the flu, you cannot heal just him; rather, you must heal the epidemic throughout the world because it is a general system.
It cannot be that there is a defect in one place, even if it seems to us that we see only one damaged component. The damage is not only in him, but also in the whole system. And only in regard to you is this presented as a defect in a friend. You must take care of society in general, and the particular problems that you see are only a response to the common problem. An isolated component doesn’t exist in any form, not in me or anyone else. If I see it, it is an indication that the system is sick.
We see this in the world. If we want to correct some part of the government or the society, then nothing will help because we don’t approach this correctly.

Spiritual Concepts As Perceived By Ordinary People

Question: You use terms like a soul, the upper world, or spirituality that are also used by many religions and different spiritual methods. But I feel that they give these concepts a different meaning.
Can you explain more accurately what the wisdom of Kabbalah refers to by concepts like the upper world, a soul, or reincarnation?
Answer: The wisdom of Kabbalah was founded 5,774 years ago. The first Kabbalist was called Adam.
He wasn’t the first human being on earth, because humans had existed and developed tens of thousands of years before he appeared. The only thing special about Adam was that he discovered the system of forces we are living in and described it in his book The Angel Raziel.
An angel is not a winged creature that can fly, but a force. Adam called it a hidden force because we cannot perceive this force in our corporeal senses but only can perceive the implications of its consequences. Adam was the first to attain this force that manages the whole world and he was the founder of the wisdom of Kabbalah.
Modern science can discover many forces by means of research in physics, chemistry and other sciences. But there are forces that we cannot discover because we don’t have the tools to do so. These are basically forces related to thoughts, the mind, and desires. These forces exist, but we cannot perceive them.
We can identify, with the help of measuring brainwaves how a person concentrates thoughts, but we cannot examine the quality of the thought, especially if these are ideas that relate to humanity and are part of nature. Today, physicists say that our world and the whole universe seems to them like a thought and that we exist in the universe in a thought. This thought is the thought of creation.
The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us how to feel this thought, this force, the thought that existed before the creation of the universe and which created the universe through theBig Bang and leads it to its final definite form. There are no coincidences in nature. Everything is accurately connected and defined.
The wisdom of Kabbalah helps us develop additional senses through which we can feel the forces and the attributes that our body doesn’t feel. In order to do so, we must exit our body and connect to other people, be incorporated in one another, and create a kind of a collective emotional, energetic, mental platform that is not in each of us, but among us.
Thus, by the cooperation between us, we can begin to perceive the force that exists around us, the thought of creation, the thought of our evolution. According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, it is called attaining the Creator because this force created and develops us.
The wisdom of Kabbalah revealed this long before religions appeared. People began to read Kabbalah books, but at the same time they didn’t engage in practical fulfillment by way of self-correction, development of the connection between them, and in ascending above their egos. They couldn’t understand what the books said exactly, and all religions stemmed from this as a result of this lack of understanding.
They took the names of the forces that exist in nature (spirits, angels, demons, etc.) and began to embody them in different images. Kabbalah books speak only about forces, but because people perceive these concepts through their corporeal senses, they began to imagine reality through these concepts.
The point is that everything we see and feel inside us are only forces that are perceived by our mind and are depicted in our minds like electromagnetic forces depict different images on a computer screen. In fact, nothing really exists.
By putting together a picture of the different forces and placing electrodes in a person’s brain, we can change this picture and do practically anything. But does all that really exist externally to us? No. It is only a fictitious reality that we perceive in that way.
The wisdom of Kabbalah tells a person how to correct his perception of the world and feel it, not with his body, but by using totally different senses. We are gradually approaching this level.
As for the spiritual concepts, they were really taken from the wisdom of Kabbalah by different spiritual methods. Many people use them without any reference to the wisdom of Kabbalah and this is very confusing for a person who demands correction. The right perception of reality requires a great deal of work on myself.

A Good Place For Developing The Soul

The reincarnation of the souls is like the recycling of water in our world. This is a constant exchange that takes place between different energy levels in which are found our energetic characteristics called the soul.
A soul is something ephemeral, an energy state of a person that is constantly rising and falling. Cycles like these are necessary to realize the constant blending, adhering, and division of all the souls with each other. They constantly create mutual correction, mutual integration, and bring all the individual souls into a single, generally shared state of one single soul.
This state is called the completion of correction, and we must attain it soon. Therefore, both the wisdom of Kabbalah and the crisis have appeared in this world. Not much time is left for us to reach this state, either through the blows of nature, through huge problems, or through learning and proper use of the method of  the wisdom of connection (Integral Education).
Question: In our world are there any energetic places that can fulfill the soul?
Answer: No, there are no places in the world with such unique characteristics. They influence our mental, physiological, and even our emotional attributes, but not the soul, not spirituality, meaning not the ascent of a person to the characteristic of bestowal and love.
Only in a strong group that is created correctly and in which people mutually cooperate in the right way is the focus of a state like this to be found where a person can enter this society and develop very rapidly.
This is not a geographic location; rather, it is simply an energy that is accumulated by many people yearning to discover the central force of the world. Only a Kabbalistic group is a good place for developing the soul.
