A World-Wide Mutual Guarantee

 

Question: It is interesting that the law of mutual guarantee covers the whole world. Why is one nation not enough to achieve correction?

Answer: We are all part of the same system, and therefore, no one can escape from the law of mutual guarantee.

Question: Can I reach mutual guarantee in the ten or is it not enough?

Answer: Yes, you can reach mutual guarantee in the ten, but not an absolute one. Absolute mutual guarantee is achieved after all of humanity, being divided into tens, comes from tens, to hundreds, and so on, and turns into one single ten consisting of billions of individual tens.

Question: Do you see in the near future each country being divided into such tens?

Answer: How it will be, I do not know. I do not want to think ahead and let alone notify you about it. But I believe that the world is coming to this and will inevitably come to it.

Question: Baal HaSulam writes that everyone should contribute to creating a critical mass in order to achieve social harmony. So, a huge number of people must do it?

Answer: Yes. Everyone will agree. We are moving toward it. Nature will force us either by the path of suffering or by the path of light.

Mutual Guarantee Is What Love Really Is

 

Question: Is it right to say that mutual guarantee is a basic form of communication?

Answer: Mutual guarantee is the ultimate form of proper communication when we achieve a one-for-all and all-for-one relationship.

Comment: But you said that the final form is love.

My Response: This is when you can call it love. After all, to be connected to each other in such a way as to feel what the other person lacks and provide it for him is love.

Comment: In one of your books you wrote that the mutual guarantee frees everyone from any worries.

My Response: Mutual guarantee is necessary in order to take care of others. Everyone needs to be sure that they are being taken care of by others. Otherwise, they will have to break away from caring for others and think about themselves.

Therefore, society should be built in such a way that everyone thinks about each other. This is the reverse form of pure egoism.

Question: But still, a person must take care of himself to a necessary extent, right?

Answer: No. Why should he? He is in a society that thinks about each and everyone. And he also takes care of each and everyone, and in no way of himself.

He makes what is called a restriction (Tzimtzum) on himself: let the others think of me and I will think of others. In this state, we are completely connected to each other, included in each other, and achieve an absolutely integral state.

Question: Do you mean to say that, just as a few million years ago, nature combined cells into a complex organism, so it will force us into such an ideal state? It’s hard to imagine what you’re talking about right now. It’s not even a utopia.

Answer: This is the completely real, correct state of individual living organisms.

Dissociation Virus

 

The problem of coronavirus is not limited to one country because we live in the last generation when the Creator extends the same attitude to all of humanity, without exception, at all levels, at all degrees, and in all states.

Even on some small island lost in the Pacific Ocean, the coronavirus suddenly appears. It would seem, how did it manage to get there if the people live in isolation from the rest of the world? Nevertheless, the virus is transmitted there too.

Today, doctors and researchers are beginning to say that the virus is airborne. Does this mean that the virus is spreading thousands of kilometers in all directions? It appears simply from nature, from within it.

Due to the fact that there is no connection between us at a time when we were already obliged to unite, due to this lack of connection between inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature, the coronavirus appears. We will still discover its manifestations in plants, animals, and even in inanimate matter.

First of all, we will find that the virus has reached the most remote parts of the globe, without any human factor, and even affects animals and plants. Where does it come from? From the absence of connection that must exist between all parts of reality. People are responsible for this! Therefore, we should learn about it and think about it.

All that is required of us is the awareness of mutual guarantee, the feeling that we are in the last generation. Apart from this, nothing more is needed. If we understand that we are dependent on each other and are cooking in the same pot, this will be enough to begin gradually getting out of the crisis. We will already begin to see where the cure is.

With the help of mutual guarantee, we can save ourselves from the coronavirus. It all depends on the right connection between us. The coronavirus is a consequence of the lack of unity among us. For this reason alone, it manifests itself.

All problems and all kinds of viruses appear because there is no correspondence between the parts of nature, and therefore they cannot connect with each other starting from the level of atoms, molecules, and up to larger and more complex particles. Parts of nature cannot come together into one system, and this gives rise to all problems—like a cancerous tumor, a malignant formation that lacks the right connections with tissues.

Therefore, the fight against coronavirus can only be at the human level, if we think well of each other. After all, by our unity, we will attract the force of good that will unite everyone. This power is higher and stronger than all our adversity, and it will heal everything for us.

Our association is a cure for all problems, physical and mental, personal, and social. When it passes through all layers of connections between people, animals, plants, and inanimate nature, then the whole world will become one and connected with only one force, in mutual guarantee.

The Perfect Formula For Life

Mutual guarantee is the general law of the correct connection of all creation, and therefore, by fulfilling it, we will correct all problems.

If we will take care of the mutual guarantee between us, we will affect all particles of matter on the physical and chemical levels, which will connect correctly as well. By doing this we will neutralize all microbes, stop all epidemics, and disarm all our enemies, from people to small insects.

The mutual guarantee will protect us from everything: from harmful radiation, from extreme heat and cold. The Earth is ready to explode from climate changes, but we can calm all nature by tying all its parts with mutual guarantee. It all depends only on how we implement this law ourselves.

The law of mutual guarantee is the perfect formula for connecting all parts of nature, on all levels: inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human. We have nothing else to worry about.

We will not have to go deep into the study of all the subtleties of nature, its ecological, zoological, biological, and physical laws. There is no need to descend to the quantum level because from our human level we influence all the lower layers of nature.

Besides, we influence the higher nature from our level. We are between two worlds: the higher world and the lower world. If we reach mutual guarantee, we begin to live in both worlds.

The entire universe is one system. Therefore, by our attitude, we influence all of nature. Through our attitude, we can blow up stars, evoke wars, and establish peace. It all depends only on our attitude to the unity between us. If we want the world to feel good, we need to establish good relationships between us. The closer we get to each other, the better the world will become.

The world is not at fault, it acts according to the laws instituted into it by the Creator. But we can bring these laws to the correct connection by inserting our resistance between plus and minus: restriction, screen, and reflected light. Then there will be no confrontation and short-circuit between the positive and negative poles, between the right and left, between all conflicting sides. After all, we will put a buffer between them, the correct adapter.

Everything depends on us; only we can connect all pluses and minuses on all levels for peace to prevail in the world. That is why, first of all, we have to achieve mutual guarantee with the intention to help the whole world and thereby bring contentment to the Creator.

Inside The Law Of Mutual Guarantee

We are inside the law of mutual guarantee and moving forward in accordance with it. Our whole life depends on the fulfillment of this law whether we want it or not, whether we understand it or not. All of humanity is moving in the direction of mutual guarantee.

Even if you look back only three months ago, an insignificant period in comparison with human life, you will see how our ideas about our development, about the present and future have changed. We have made a huge leap forward.

Until three months ago, we thought that the coronavirus pandemic would end quickly and allow us to return to our previous lives. But no one thinks that way today.

Look what a revolution is taking place in all of humanity, in billions of people, and how their attitude to life is changing. They begin to realize that they are in some kind of a mandatory process from which they cannot be freed. They are not in charge of their lives but life controls them and pulls them and not toward the goal they have set for themselves.

Life will not be the same again. We are in a process where in a very short time we can see dramatic changes between the past, present, and future. It turns out that everyone has made very important discoveries about their lives: they realized that today will not be like yesterday, and tomorrow will not be like today. Thus, nature, the Creator, raises us to another level of perception of reality.

We are becoming partners with the Creator, participating with Him in the same process, although only passively for the time being. Nature makes changes, and we are in this process watching it as it unfolds before us.

We already see that we do not control the world, and we cannot change it. Even if the future appears black, we still understand that there is no choice and that what should happen will happen. And then the question arises: is it possible to change something?

We are more and more ready to accept the conditions the Creator sets for us if we want to change the future. We may still be passive, but we are already participants in the process unfolding in front of us. This is noticeable in the media, in people, and in families throughout our lives, and this is a huge achievement.

Everyone gradually bows their head and is no longer as confident and sure of himself as before. We understand that we are inside a flow that is designated by nature. Nature has established for us the law of mutual guarantee and it will become clearer every day that only through the right connection can we organize our lives and that only the lack of a good connection between us is the cause of all our misfortunes.

All this will soon become clear to everyone and we will understand that the law of mutual guarantee is binding and there is no choice but to follow it. It is better if we strive for it ourselves, hasten time, and bring it closer and closer in order to fulfill it before it overtakes us and compels us to fulfill it by force. We want to fulfill it voluntarily, at our own will.

Day by day, humanity is moving closer to mutual guarantee, opening its eyes more and more.

Mutual Guarantee—The Law Of Nature

Mutual guarantee is a global law of nature, the most important and defining. There is nothing higher than it. The Creator wants the creatures to know this law. And the creation can only attain something through the contrast of opposites.

And so the Creator created us as opposed to mutual guarantee, that is, separated, unconnected, shattered, and full of all forms of egoism. We must rise above these egoistic forces of separation and begin to connect the creation anew.

There are four degrees in creation that allow you to fully reveal the Creator. In this way they were created by the force of unity, which came out of the Creator and created the four stages of direct light. Then they descended further, breaking apart and separating, creating degrees and worlds until they reached this world and turned into all kinds of substances. The substances broke down further: into molecules, atoms, subatomic and elementary particles.

But the main work of man is not to delve into physical or chemical research, into elementary particles, but to connect all the parts of creation on all levels: both physical matter and its spiritual embodiment, into one whole, and to return to the original state from which it was broken.

Creation, equivalent in form to the Creator, fully follows the law of mutual guarantee. By the same degrees that the worlds descended, shattered, and divided, creation now rises back up, binds, and connects, first transforming itself from physical material into spiritual. Spiritual matter is one where the law of unity, mutual guarantee, is fulfilled more and more.

The separation and descent of the worlds to the very bottom, down to physical matter, was done in order to enable us to bring the entire creation to unity through our own efforts because “One” is the name of the Creator. In other words, we need to recreate the law of mutual guarantee between all parts of creation.

If we do not do this in time, the process of breakage continues, and we experience more and more new problems and diseases in our lives, that is, separation at all levels: inanimate, vegetative, animal, and human. On the animal level, separation manifests as diseases of the body, on the inanimate and vegetative levels, as natural disasters.

The only thing we need is to comply with the law of mutual guarantee. We have only one task: to connect all the parts of creation into a single integrated system, into “One, Unique and Unified,” except for whom, there is nothing. This law binds all parts of nature by a simple formula called Mutual Guarantee, (Arvut) by which everything exists in perfect harmony. The feeling of this harmony is called the attainment of the Creator by the creation.

The Creator has deliberately shattered this law of mutual guarantee in order to give everyone a point of his “I”—the point of shattering from which he can feel himself existing and attaining unity, mutual guarantee. This is how we embody the name of the Creator, reveal Him, and put him as a king over creation.

Greater And Greater Mutual Guarantee

There is no more important action than the practical implementation of mutual guarantee. In this aspect, it is necessary to consider any state, the entire process we go through and its final result. Every moment of life should be directed toward a single goal: toward more and more approximation to the concept of mutual guarantee.

And if we establish this correctly, we will immediately see how our whole life takes on a completely different color, and all problems, including the crisis caused by the coronavirus, disappear one by one. After all, they come with one purpose: to awaken us to the mutual guarantee.

Therefore, for any breakdown, small or large, there is only one way to fix it—only by strengthening our mutual guarantee. We should try to think about this every day, especially after the last congress where we have already begun to build this mutual guarantee between us and all the inhabitants of this world, and we will continue this path.

The Creator does not exist until we build this concept through our union and mutual guarantee. And then He is revealed and begins to exist for us.

The Creator is what unites us. If I treat the group as one whole in which there is no difference between us, then within this concept I begin to feel the Creator. The Creator is the power of unification that we can generate if we strive for unity and support. There is no Creator without creation. This power is the purpose of our union.

We know in advance that there is such a state in which we are united together in mutual guarantee as one person. We turn to this state with prayer, we want to extract strength from it. This state already exists and lives because it is eternal. We only need to reveal it in practice.

This is the difference between the mutual guarantee, which is still developing and changing between us, and the mutual guarantee that we strive to achieve as a result of our absolute unification.

The mutual guarantee is the general law of the right connection between us. And the concept of the Creator is revealed when we really join each other as one. And then, within this unity, we comprehend the ideal of complete, perfect unification, which is called the Creator.

We cannot achieve this complete connection with one jump, and therefore, there are 125 steps, 125 steps created by the upper light when spreading from top to bottom. Therefore, we have the opportunity, step by step, to achieve an ever greater degree of mutual guarantee between us and, as a generalization of this state, with the Creator.

One can only judge about the Creator within the Kli, and therefore, within the concept of a guarantee; a guarantee with the Creator is attained in a group. This means that all the work goes between us.

A surety is a condition for the flow of life in a common body, metabolism, the flow of forces, lights, desires, a condition for life. And therefore there are no small and large in it.

All nature acts according to the law of universal mutual guarantee, otherwise it could not exist. But this is an unconscious step, to which the natural instinct obliges. Whereas people who are above the inanimate, vegetative, and animate level are obliged to fulfill the law of mutual guarantee at the human level of their choice, through their efforts, prayer, and mutual assistance.

Man In An Interconnected World, Part 5

Nature Is a Strict Teacher

Question: Baal HaSulam writes that the blows of nature occur precisely and in accordance with the level of development of society. That is, as society develops, nature corrects us.

How does the current correction differ from those viruses and cataclysms of 100 years ago?

Answer: In accordance with our development, we get more and more blows from nature. It seems to us that nature is punishing us. But this is not true. It teaches us, shows us at what level and to what extent we are mistaken. We deviate from the striving to integrate between each other and uniting with the global picture of nature.

It turns out that we are, in general, unteachable, clueless participants of nature. We don’t understand what we should do. Or we understand, but we don’t want to hear it.

As a result, nature always points a finger at us, pokes our nose at our mistakes, and we don’t seem to see them. It turns out that the most successful among us seem to be those who notice these mistakes less, who do not care about the inconsistencies of a person with the world around them. They do everything in their own way, and at the same time, in the understanding of others, they are considered the most successful.

Comment: But nature still pushes us toward partnership, cooperation, solidarity. We see that when some cataclysms occur, people begin to treat one another more sensitively and gently.

My Response: Not because they realize something, but out of necessity. And as soon as the threatening state passes, they immediately return to the stand against each other.

Question: How can nature lead us to solidarity, to sensitive relationships, if blows don’t help? What’s the point of them?

Answer: Nature leads us nevertheless to see how integral it is and to feel, by analogy with itself, how integral we should be.

Question: So, nature still requires us as human beings, as the crown of creation, to recognize this on our own and to want to connect with each other sensitively?

Answer: Yes. In order to unite at the highest level, we create a system in which we feel all the internal, driving force of nature and become the same as it: eternal, perfect, and attain everything.

Question: So there should be some kind of reset of values in society?

Answer: Of course. In each and every one.

Man In An Interconnected World, Part 4

The Element of Freedom in the Rigid Program of Nature

Question: According to Baal HaSulam, the law of mutual guarantee is the basis for the interaction of all living organisms and is built on the balance between reception and bestowal.

Moreover, the law of reception is that each member of society tries to get everything he needs to live in the way his individual, egoistic system requires. And the law of bestowal is that each person cares about the welfare of the entire society.

If a person does not observe the law of bestowal, then he is hit by disasters and problems sent to him by nature. How can a person observe this law?

Answer: How to observe is one problem. And the fact that a person is obliged to observe this law follows from the image of nature that is revealed to us.

We see in front of us an absolutely integral picture: one single nature in which man is included with all his egoisms, scientific and anti-scientific “isms.” It turns out that we can not dodge and escape from the integral picture of nature. Whether we want it or not, we are inside this system and cannot exist outside of it.

This system is constantly evolving: from the inanimate level for hundreds of thousands of years, to the vegetative level for tens of thousands of years, to the animate level for thousands of years, and at the human level for literally decades. In other words, the higher nature is organized, the faster the stages of development occur in it.

The only question is when do we begin to discover ourselves in this system? We see that we are opposed to it for a very simple reason. We are not instinctively involved in nature because it affects us with the element of freedom.

We can agree or disagree with the way nature works on us, and to this extent, we determine our fate. It turns out that we are unhappy people. Nature is given to us, we can live in it, work, reproduce, create anything imaginable—unlike animals—on the next, conscious level. And we do not know what to do with it.

We create everything based on our natural egoistic nature, acting to the detriment of others and ostensibly for the benefit of ourselves. We do not understand that integral nature forces us to become different. For the benefit of oneself means for the benefit of others.

Man In An Interconnected World, Part 3

Humanity Is a Single Organism

Question: We live in an interconnected world, and this connection manifests itself at all levels. Everyone knows such phenomena as the butterfly effect, the domino effect, collective intelligence, the wisdom of the crowd, etc.

There is even a discipline called “crowdsourcing,” using the wisdom of the crowd to solve all sorts of problems. It defines that interconnection as a state of mutual responsibility, dependence on each other of someone or something, a relationship in which neither party can do without the other.

In Kabbalah, this law of mutual guarantee was described 3,000 years ago. What is this law?

Answer: Mutual guarantee (Arvut) is when we all represent one unified integrated system.

We are not talking yet about all the people of the earth, but, in principle, nature moves us to realize that we are fully integrally interconnected. Therefore, we must change in our attitude to each other, in our attention and mutual assistance, so that we are an absolutely united single organism. A body!

This means that just as I take care of my body and instinctively wish for the best for it, I must take the same part in nature and strive for everyone to reach the same level.

No Loss, Only Gain

Question: If we achieve mutual guarantee in a society and similarity of form with the Creator, will we not lose our freedom as individuals in such a society?

Answer: We will not lose anything because along the way we will see that we are absolutely not free. We are ruled by our egoism without it asking us anything, and it forces us to act as it wishes at any given time.

But if we realize that it is egoism that rules us, and rise above it, we can control it and by that control ourselves, our destiny.

And most importantly, we will begin to feel that we are not living in an egoistic animal body, but above it, and thus we will feel that we exist forever in a perfect space. We must come to this while we are still in this world. As it is said: “May you see your world in your lifetime.”

This is the role of Kabbalah—to give man the opportunity to rise above the animal nature to the human level. And man is someone who lives forever, outside of time. Time exists only in inanimate, vegetative, and animal organisms, but in the level of Adam there is no time. There, just like according to Einstein, everything goes into another dimension.

3,000 Year Journey

Question: 3,000 years ago, people discovered the law of mutual guarantee: love your neighbor. It was already written about it back then. This is the same law that exists at the level of elementary particles.

How is it that we have known this law for thousands of years, but it does not help us? We still cannot balance our egoism in any way, can we?

Answer: But this law is against our nature. Our nature seeks to exalt itself, to subjugate all to itself, to absorb everything in itself, without giving anything to anyone, without considering anyone. This is the law of egoism that exists in every person.

I am not just like animals, dragging some carcass for myself and not sharing it with anyone. I want to subjugate everyone, so that everyone will be my slaves, groveling before me. I want absolute power over the whole world. If someone thinks that this is not the case, they simply do not know themselves well.

Question: If a few thousand years ago people already knew that love will cover all sins and did not achieve this, is it that perhaps thousands of years must pass before we come to this?

Answer: Perhaps. I am not saying that it should end today. But we are coming to this. We are moving toward the realization of the evil that we cannot live within our nature. By this, we are killing ourselves and endangering life on Earth. We must somehow raise ourselves above our egoism, above our instincts, and come to integral interaction.

“How Practical Is Mutual Responsibility?” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “How Practical Is Mutual Responsibility?”

Not long ago, a comment on one of my posts stated that adapting society to the harmonious and integral nature we live in is impractical. At the moment, it is indeed impractical since people see no reason to be harmonious with others. For as long as we can, our self-centered nature will try to maintain its self-centered mindset.

But reality has changed, and the sooner we realize it, the better for all of us. The virus will force us to think about each other. Each of us can transmit it to everyone around us. Even if we aren’t sick, it doesn’t mean we’re not carriers, and therefore should be careful not to transmit it to others. In this way, the virus is teaching us to think about each other, to be considerate, even if not of our own volition or affection to others.

Since the virus isn’t going away in the foreseeable future, we will have to adopt the approach of mutual responsibility. Inadvertently, we will find ourselves in a society that abides by different rules: rules of a harmonious, integral society. We will simply have no choice; our lives will depend on it.

It may be a few months or a few years from now, but a society of mutual responsibility and solidarity will not only be practical and realistic, it will be the only option for humanity since it will be the only way to deal successfully with COVID-19 or with all the crises down the road.

Coronavirus—Nature’s Boomerang

Mutual guarantee is a concept familiar to everyone since childhood. We have always been taught that we need to support each other, otherwise we will be lost. But today, mutual guarantee, connection between people, is becoming an unusually enhanced and relevant topic.

The coronavirus epidemic that has swept the world, gives us the opportunity to learn something new about our lives and relationships in the global world. On the other hand, it shows us what power each, even the smallest element of nature, possesses. The world seems so huge, but suddenly it turns out that a tiny virus can plunge it into chaos and darkness.

This shows us what personal responsibility each of us bears before the world in our time so as not to be a pest in it and not to infect others. Think, some simple trader from a Chinese market has made such dramatic changes in the world. This shows the power each of us possess in the global world, and what responsibility lies on each in relation to everyone.

There is a simple law in the science of Kabbalah: The general and the particular are equal. The general is only a collection of private elements, and therefore it depends on each of them. It is impossible to pull even the single smallest element out from the general without destroying the general. Without one particle, it will be flawed because it lacks this part.

Therefore, we look at coronavirus and do not understand how such a microscopic particle has managed to create so many troubles in the world? But in fact, the virus shows us what damage we have done in the entire system at the biological level, the highest level of nature. Above it there are only thoughts and intentions of people.

We must understand that everything starts with the head. Therefore, if there is a breakdown within the biological system, then it is a consequence of a malfunction in the system of thought and desire that are above the biological level. It should be clarified what kind of problems there are in the relationship within a person, with others, with humanity in general, which creates such distortions as viruses at the biological level.

Apparently, there is a problem in our relationships: they are not integral. We have already violated all laws of the integral nature and disallow its normal existence. Therefore, the destruction that we create in nature, where everything must be connected and harmonious, has become so significant that it hit everyone in the form of a virus.

The epidemic really affects everyone because we live in an integral world. And therefore, it doesn’t matter who lives where—everyone has suffered, whether it be a Chinese peasant, a stockbroker in Hong Kong, or an American because we are in a common, connected system.

Once we lived more isolated and depended only on our local area because the world was not global. But today’s world is so integrated that any Chinese village is linked along a chain through a network of trade relations with all of humanity. We are used to the fact that the fate of the world is managed by governments, and suddenly the reins are at the disposal of a tiny virus.

We are all parts of one integrated system called “Adam,” human being, and we depend on each other without exception. And if this system is increasingly showing our dependence and obliging us to improve it, then let’s learn how to fit in this system, or it will be bad for us. Otherwise, new deadly viruses will be revealed every day.

The system indicates that we are required to connect with each other through positive connections. But we need to find out what “positive” means because our egoism considers only that which is beneficial for it to be positive.

In order to find out what is really positive, we need to study the whole system, and then each and everyone together to act to maintain its integrity. Apart from this, nothing is required, only to take care of others, as of oneself.

Between us there must be a global, mutual guarantee, which is higher than any separation and personal goals. Mutual care, positive connection among us is above all, and it must determine all existing individual bonds between us. Mutual guarantee is the highest law in nature, existing only in nature . All other laws and forms of behavior are derived from it.

Thanks to the coronavirus, the law of mutual guarantee is now being disclosed worldwide. Nature decided to show us who we are and how opposite to it we are.

Maybe during this crisis, we will learn what should be done to become an integral part of nature. Having fulfilled the law of mutual guarantee, we humans will bring nature into balance. Achieving complete balance and harmony of the forces of nature is a true paradise.

Quarantine—The First Step Toward Overcoming The Crisis

Global mutual responsibility is the law for all elements, connected in one system. This law obligates everyone to know how he or she should relate to the system in order to bring it into equilibrium, to perfect mutual relationships between all parts.

And of course, we are unable to even grasp this law, and more so, to fulfill it. I cannot make such a commitment because if I do not fulfill my function in the integrated system, then all of it will go out of balance and I will be the one to blame.

Everyone will feel that I have violated the perfection of the system. It turns out that each element is equivalent to the whole system in general, and this is a terrible responsibility. Everyone is responsible for the whole world. Therefore, it is said: “It is better sit and do nothing.”

So now people were asked to quarantine themselves, to not go out anywhere, fly, or come in contact with anyone. So what needs to be done?

We need to study that we are in an integral and global system where the law of mutual responsibility, that is, mutual dependence, operates, and how we can invert this dependence from obligatory into desirable. We want to be connected, not because nature obliges us, but because we ourselves start revealing how good it is to be in touch.

It is just heavenly life—to unite together into one perfect unity and begin to feel the perfection of nature. Then we will feel all parts of nature from the most distant stars to such forms of life that we do not know now. A man can become an exalted creator of perfection.

The first step in overcoming the crisis is quarantine, that is, “sit and do nothing,” just learn. Humanity’s problem is that we begin to act even before we understand what we are doing. While we are in quarantine, we have time to think: in what world do we exist, who are we, and what is the system of nature in which we live, as well as how do we depend on the system of nature and it depends on us?

How do we, through our relationships with each other, influence the global system of nature: inanimate matter, plants, animals, and humans, and how does nature react to our actions? As such, we will begin to learn how to build a beautiful home for everyone—not just comfortable, but eternal and perfect, above this biological life and death, at a higher level.

By correcting the connection between us, we rise to an infinite system, unlimited in time. We begin to live in a world in which death does not exist and there are no restrictions, only unlimited attainment and existence. Now we get the opportunity to come to such a life.

First of all, we need to study the global system of nature and our role in it and how we can get organized among ourselves in order to connect to this global system of nature. After all, each of us is an egoist, the opposite of nature. And how can I adapt myself to the system of nature, which is all integral and exists according to the law of mutual responsibility, connection, love, and mutual complementarity if I have been built with the exact opposite qualities?

This is where the wisdom of Kabbalah comes to our aid; it teaches us egoists how to build a connection between us similar to the integral system of nature. This is called the “ten” in which ten people come together to establish relationships that are consistent with the system of nature.

The human ego has always tried to adapt the whole world to its needs. But that time is over. The epidemic revolutionized consciousness in the world, and we began to understand that we could not use everything only for our own benefit, but we should look for how to become useful for the whole system.

Ten people are like a small laboratory where we try to develop an antivirus by agreeing to establish the same laws between us as the ones that operate in a perfect nature, integral and global, that is, in mutual bestowal. Everyone lowers himself and raises others above himself, building relationships that are higher than everyone’s personal egoism. This will serve as a vaccine against the virus.

Thus, new groups will arise until all of humanity receives an anti-virus vaccine, and we will return everyone to behavior that corresponds to a healthy nature. This will be a new human, because he will perceive the desire of the nine friends as his own and take care of them more than taking care of himself.

To this extent, he will receive support from the integral law of nature, which will turn him into its integral part. The law of mutual guarantee obliges a person to be connected with the whole system above his egoism.

Nature made man the greatest egoist of all creatures. But the global nature of this crisis wants to show us that it has already been waiting to make us its inextricable parts. It is as if nature is telling us: “I am ready now to include you inside myself as integral elements.”

And this is despite the fact that each of us is created anti-integral and wants only to rule and use others. Nature has made us inverse to itself, so that we compare the negative and positive states and appreciate the “advantage of light from darkness.” We will then be able to feel and realize the integral, perfect state and want to achieve it. Otherwise, we would not understand where we are.

Nature originally installed a selfish program in us, which now stops working. We need to understand that a selfish program is incompatible with a global and connected world.

The crisis is pushing us to agree to connect with others and fulfill the integral law of nature. We need to install in ourselves a new, improved mutual guarantee program—the only program that exists in nature.

This program works in everything except the human, only we cannot perceive it with our spoiled, selfish mind. We judge the world based on our shortcomings, and therefore, see it as spoiled. But as soon as we begin to correct ourselves and want to become an integral part of nature, we will see a completely different world and realize that it has always been like that, only we did not notice it.

The law of mutual guarantee states that we all belong to one system and are obliged to feel like gears of one mechanism where everyone depends on everyone. By this we will provide ourselves with eternal, perfect, beautiful life. Nothing more is needed, and the crisis created by the coronavirus epidemic brings us closer to this. Let’s wish us all success in its proper resolution.

Difference Between the Method of Moses and the Method of Abraham

Question: What kinds of means were there in the method of Abraham and in the method of Moses who pulled people out of egoism?

Answer: Moses had very simple means. From below, everything depends on the desire of the people for connection, for mutual guarantee (Arvut). To the extent that they aspire to this, they are provided with the upper force that connects them.

Question: That is, the main condition is the law of mutual guarantee. In the Babylonian Talmud it is written, “If you accept the law of guarantee, that is good. If not, here will be your burial place.” Does it mean that nature or the Creator forcibly demand this fulfillment?

Answer: There is nothing else in nature. It is all very simple; there is one law: to bring humanity to connection. In the case that along this path there are suddenly some kinds of interference from people, then nature, as usual, destroys them. It will unite us by force.

“Turning On” Mutual Guarantee

Question: Should we constantly cultivate the importance of the principle “There is none else besides Him”?

Answer: If the friends in the group think about how none of them should forget to identify the Creator as a root cause of their states, then you will really help each other.

This stage is called mutual guarantee; it begins from the fact that we simply mechanically want to help each other keep ourselves in the thought that “There is none else besides Him.” At the same time, each of us thinks about the other.

When we all think this way about each other together, we “turn on” the mutual guarantee and it works. In this case, each member of the group remembers more often that the Creator is the source of his or her thoughts and feelings, and they begin to form, to connect with each other into one network.

By constantly helping the friends remember that we are mutually included into each other and connected to the Creator, we try to identify the Creator as our common source. Each of us then becomes connected with others in such a way that the signal from the Creator passes through each one to everyone else. This is another level of connection.

You Are Responsible For The Whole World

Baal HaSulam, “The Giving of the Torah”: “Our sages said ‘All of Israel are responsible for one another.’ This seems to be completely unjust, for is it possible that if someone sins or commits a sin that upsets his Maker, and you have no acquaintance with him, the Creator will collect his debt from you? It is written, ‘Fathers shall not be put to death for children… every man shall be put to death for his own sin” (Deuteronomy 24:16), so how can they say that you are responsible for the sins of even a complete stranger, of whom you know neither him nor his whereabouts?'”

To the extent that we climb the steps of correction, in the measure of our spiritual development we are responsible for others.

Question: Baal HaSulam emphasizes that we are responsible for everyone, without knowing, seeing, or being with them. How can this be?

Answer: This is not about people. It is about the system: you are responsible for it because you can bring the upper Light on it, which will fix it. At your level, you must do it.

It is yours! The whole world is your Kli, your vessel, your soul. And that is why you are responsible for the whole world.

The Power Of Mutual Guarantee

Rabash, “The Love of Friends – 1”: This trail is called “a path of bestowal,” and this way is against our nature. To be able to achieve it, there is no other way but [in a group where there is] love of friends, by which everyone can help his friend [to move forward along this path].

Nobody in the group can advance by himself and cannot advance with the help of others. Spiritual advancement means that a person helps the group and thus develops the quality of bestowal and love in oneself.

The group helps a person with alternative actions so that a person can give, influence, fulfill, care for, and support one’s friends. At the same time, a person develops spiritual qualities.

Question: What is the role of mutual guarantee in this process?

Answer: Mutual support because a person does not have strength of his own.

Mutual guarantee works even in people who do not realize this and do not use it consciously. Friends working in a group and taking part in classes and in all events are already using this force anyway. Even if not explicitly, not clearly directed, but mutual guarantee already works for them.
