I Am Waiting For An Answer From The Creator


Question: What should a person do if he is in a state of joy too much?
Answer: There cannot be “too much” since we have to be in Ein Sof(Infinity) in this state. It cannot be a question of time since everything disappears, both time and distance.
Question: What can we do to not simply remain in this state, but to make the best use of it? I understand that I have to turn to the Creator, but it takes so long to receive an answer.
Answer: The fact is that many have similar complaints: “There is no answer!”
The spiritual world is, on one hand, integral, analog, and, on the other hand, it is impulse. This means that there is a kind of dualism. Is an electron a particle or a wave? Is the Light a particle or a wave or both? We don’t understand that at the moment. Physicists say this, but they don’t feel it; this just comes from experimental studies.
On the one hand, our senses are seemingly constant, flowing in a current, and not in pulses. On the other hand, they pulse, that is, in ten Sefirot or five phases. If you come one millimeter before the first phase, you feel as if you haven’t even started the work and still have no contact with it.
If there has to be a thousand volts, then there has to be a thousand volts. Suppose you have a thousand rubles. You pay, and you cross the border, like when boarding a plane. However, if there is one penny missing, no matter what you say, you will not be allowed to pass.
These are the attributes of the upper world. You must have a certain potential of desire to your question so that you will be rewarded with an answer. However, in the meantime, you don’t reveal it. You are in a sea of Light, but, if your vessel cannot contain the Light (which means that you don’t reach it by your sufferings, both in quality and in quantity, according to the intensity of the question until you reach a certain volume), then you will not feel the answer. It is because your question isn’t ripe yet, and you see it from your unripe state.
You are saying, “I am already somewhere in this Light, so what’s next?” If you arrived in the last full feeling of your current state, then, after that, you would feel the next level in the form of a new desire. So, go on feeling, but try to understand more for what and how. The clarification of this state is lacking.

The Principle That Answers All Questions


We constantly need to focus on the fact that “There is none else besides Him—only on this topic as there is nothing else except it. All the other topics are needed to support it to identify different individual states.
Moreover, I delve into this topic because the Creator produces all my feelings in me. Now, He is talking to me through my teacher, who is His conduit, and nothing more. Everything around me is a manifestation of the Creator in me; I myself am His derivative and have to respond to what happens according to this.
The more a person understands and knows the uniqueness of this, not disconnecting from the friends, from the world, or from anything, then the more he will try to feel it in reality.
This is the only force of nature that is manifested to us like that. Every day, we increasingly reveal its integrality, interconnection. Nature is integral, and we should not interfere with it. On the contrary, we must adapt ourselves to it. That is why Kabbalah says that we have to act in the external world: to provide everyone with normal, reasonable consumption, in general, to care about that. Everything else is just seeking unity, and through unity to the One.
Thus, any changes that you would like to see, you can only come to through this topic of the uniqueness of the Creator. It determines everything: why we should be united, why we should react to something in this way and not otherwise, etc. You will always come to the correct answer through it.

Through The Group To The Creator


Question: When we participate in the morning lessons and workshops should we appeal to the Creator through the group?
Answer: Only through the group! There cannot be any personal appeal to the Creator. All the Shamati articles were written for a person who is engaged in the spiritual work within a group. By the way, there is nothing mentioned in these articles that one has to direct oneself to the Creator through the group because it is a natural and obvious thing.
If I say that I look at the Creator, it means that there is a group in front of me. Otherwise, I do not see Him.

Am I Correcting The World?


Question: What is the correction of the world?
Answer: We are on the highest level of a general system because we yearn to be above ourselves. The previous lives have made us the way we are.
There are different illuminations in the world, and this whole system is mutually connected. But the signal comes from above. The Light goes through us to the world and then spreads everywhere. This is called the “correction of the world.”

I don’t correct anyone. If we correct ourselves, then the Light is transferred through us to all the other parts of the world. Most people cannot draw the Light; they cannot correct themselves; they don’t understand; they don’t know; they lack the desires. Try to talk to them about the meaning of life and what does it mean to them. It isn’t good or bad, since in the meantime they have no such desire. What is more, these people make up 99% of the world population, and it is up to us to correct them that way.
On the other hand, Kabbalists speak about our obligation to pass the wisdom of Kabbalahon to them, so that they will feel that there is hope and that there is an ideology of correction, that there are levels the world has to go through in order to be corrected, and that we can ease this path for them and make it simple and quick. They have to know a little about it, only generally. The actual correction takes place under our internal influence on them, since we are all connected in one network.

The Crimson Spark Of Love


Question: You said that we have to take our point in the heart outward. I do not understand what that means. If the point is in me, then how can I take it out? I feel contentment, sense this fulfillment, and examine it as an observer. Is this point somehow disconnected from me?
Answer: This is a feeling between you and the other person that is as a calm, warm, really crimson luminous point. It is not even a point, but a small ball between you and him.
It does not matter whether it is a man or a woman, you do not notice. It has nothing to do with sex or a person’s appearance, with anything external. This point just appears, and you look not at this person, but at this small ball, which has appeared between you. And you work for it. It is the most important thing for you.
This ball is a person’s desires, his aspirations. You suddenly start to feel them, and you suddenly start to work for them. You want this ball to grow. It attracts you, fascinates you like a fireball, and you work for it.
Question: But if it does not fascinate me, does it mean that it is me who feels contentment?
Answer: But this is not you inside yourself, you are in this ball, you are in this emerging feeling of love for the other. You are still standing like an observer and still are based on you egoism, but you seek this state. It is already yours; it lives in you.

The Difference Between Spiritual And Corporeal Egoism


Question: The general ego is growing during the study of the wisdom of Kabbalah. It turns out that we seem to accelerate the growth of theego. And as long as we delay the connection between us, humanity is becoming more egoistic.
Answer: The ego is not transferred from us to humanity. It does indeed develop sharply, but it is in us. To the extent that you aspire and yearn for the love of friends, you feel that you hate them and are rejected by them. Those who do not yearn for spirituality don’t feel anything. They have the ordinary corporeal animal egoistic urges, and nothing more than that.
If I strive forward to the “plus” with the friends and attain let’s say “plus one,” I immediately feel “minus one.” But if I am on level zero, on the initial corporeal level, I am just an animal. This means that it is an ordinary corporeal ego.
Spiritual ego is a totally different matter; it appears only in order to push me to an even stronger connection with the friends in the group. First it all seemed okay, fine: “Let’s connect guys!” We rent a place, everyone is burning, everyone is working. Suddenly we feel that we cannot even look at each other. This means that a negative spiritual level has started, and that’s a good thing.
Now is the time to rise above it, to rise to the next level “plus two.” And then again “minus two” appears.” And thus, over and over again. Without this zigzag we would not develop.
The Difference Between Spiritual And Corporeal Egoism
Can you imagine what ego people who rise have, like Rabbi Shimon’s students who wrote that they were ready to burn each other?
When you reach such a level, these attributes appear in you. So we have to establish an environment. You will not be able to attain this level without a strong group to support you and direct you. It “shakes” you when it is necessary so that you will wake up and see where you are; it obligates you and the others to perform your duties in the group, pulls you to dissemination, wakes you up at night, etc. It is impossible to advance without it.
At first a small ego appears in the group. But if the friends don’t notice it, if there isn’t someone who can help them, the group falls apart. There are many such groups. I hear about it occasionally.
So, we should actually be happy that serious signs of the spiritual advancement appear. This is already spiritual egoism.

The Art Of Working In The Middle Line


Question: What is the work in the middle line and how can I feel it?
Answer: The middle line doesn’t actually exist. After all, there are two forces active in nature: the force of bestowal (in red) and the force of receiving (in black). A person is neither one of them. The two forces emanate from above. There is the force of bestowal that created the force of receiving that is opposite from it. These two forces, let’s say plus and minus, exist in nature and everything stems from them: the still, vegetative, and animate. Man is of course a “spiritual creation” and exists in the comparison, in the connection of these two parameters inside him. 
The Art Of Working In The Middle Line

The Masach (screen) is the plus, and the ego is the minus. Connecting them inside him correctly is above his ego, and by following faith above reason, a man stabilizes the middle line. This is the whole art.
This means that on one hand, I want to get closer to the friends despite my ego, since we discover the spiritual world only in the connection among us (the yellow part in the drawing).  And our ego (the black circles in the drawing) remains and grows even more.

Sefirot and worlds appear among us, in which everything is revealed. The upper world is external to us, external to our ego and above it, above the connection between us. Therefore, the whole wisdom of Kabbalah is based on the principle of “love thy friend as thyself.” Why? Because when you work on it, exit yourself, and build a kind of a sensor in the external form, you begin to feel the whole filling upper force. You may call it theCreator or the upper force, whatever you wish.
This is our work, and it is fulfilled in the middle line.

From Individual To General


Question: Does the point in the heart awakening in a person indicate the dead end of material development?
Answer: I wouldn’t say that it’s the dead end of material development, although a person may, in all he does, whatever he may be doing today, feel that he’s reached a dead end in all spheres of action in our world.
In reality this isn’t a dead end of development, but a dead end of today’s paradigm. If we change it, then naturally we will begin to sense a totally different level of the universe. However in an egoistic, individual cognition, not in unity, in struggle with one another, we understand we can’t attain more, and can’t advance any further.
The next level of humanity’s development—is global unity and creating a common body of attainment. This is why people can’t continue to develop individually. We observe this in all that is happening to us. We have reached a dead end not only in the sciences, but also in everything else. That is, we’ve reached a certain limit beyond which everything becomes a blur, as though it disappears. Our egoistic organs of perception, which are only directed toward reception, can’t receive any more. In order to expand, we must begin to connect them to each other.
Each one of us has a point in the heart, an aspiration toward a greater, or so-called “out of this world,” non-egoistic attainment, the desire to go from the individual to the general. If we begin to connect these points, to create a connection between us, then the connection of at least ten points gives the power sensor, which is able to perceive the next state: the upper world. This state is followed by further development, which takes place not in an individual but in a collective consciousness and perception. Therein lies the difference between our world and the next level. Only in this!
Hence, if today we’ve reach a dead end, it is only a dead end of our individual attainment of the world. By connecting the aspiration toward the upper world, we can create a new organ of perception for the next level.
This is why our current world is pushing us out of ourselves today; it is showing us that we must become integrated, interdependent, and united. This is why such interaction and great interdependence is being revealed in the world. Through all this, we are gradually being shown the next, gradually revealing the next level of our world.
Let’s hope that we can attain this level. Then we will have to teach this to everyone else. Right now we are at the beginning stages, at the approach to this next realm.

What Is Stopping Us?


I cannot correct the evil that is revealed in me without a group.Suppose I hate a certain friend, and although I understand that it is bad, I cannot do anything about it by myself. Only the Creator can help me, and until then, despite all my efforts, I continue to hate him.
I am bothered by it from morning till night, I understand that it is stopping my spiritual advancement and what is most important is that it doesn’t allow me to bring contentment to the Creator. It turns out that if I hate a friend, then to the same extent I hate the Creator. So what can I do?
Then I remember that I can change myself by the environment.
Question: And what if it doesn’t work?
Answer: It will work 100%, if I only want it to. In fact it is all very simple and everything is in the group including the world of Ein Sof (Infinity).
Question: So what is stopping a person if this is the goal of his life?
Answer: Disrespect and laziness, that’s what’s stopping him. He has everything, to the last detail: support, a crisis, friends, booksdissemination—there are all the conditions and the upper force standing ready. We are the ones who are stopping ourselves.
We have to connect, to stabilize, and to create the force of mutual guarantee in order to use it to attain the influence of the Creator. It may be that we are forgetting this part of the work, although artificial at the moment, it is very influential on the first part of the group work.
We are not doing that; we are not making enough efforts, like in the hour of distress. Where are our efforts? Where is the demand?

The Science Of Changing Oneself


Religions, science, philosophy, everything that man has developed, is intended to bring him closer to the Creator. But this connection is actually fulfilled by the wisdom of Kabbalah.
If I study about the fifth level of “thickness” of my desire and about the processes that take place in it in connection to different periods or values, then it is generally called “science,” “philosophy,” or “psychology.” One way or the other, I study what is happening within my desire to receive.
When do I study that? During the exile. That is the right time and the right situation.
Besides, there are people who yearn to rise above their desire to receive, above the exile. Thus they develop this ability internally—they study about higher levels with the help of the wisdom of Kabbalah. On this level they acquire a connection with the Creator, which means that they build their desire to receive so that it will take on the Creator’s form.
It has no form or shape, and in order to stabilize this resemblance I summon the Surrounding Light that reforms me. This Light enters my desire and builds the form of bestowal in me, which is similar to the Creator, the Returning Light.
The Science Of Changing Oneself
So science, philosophy, and psychology speak about what is happening within our desire to receive. We develop these disciplines without changing ourselves but in a rational manner. So even the worst person can reach great heights in every scientific field. A philosopher may be a Nazi and indeed anyone. Today it is possible to arrange a philosophical concept that will justify all the evil in the world.
The wisdom of Kabbalah, on the other hand, has a different approach: A person changes himself for the good, to bestow, and to this extent, he discovers the Creator. This is a totally different wisdom, and ordinary scientists cannot understand it, since it is based on a person’s transformation.
Today, such change is necessary, as the upper dimension that is being revealed obligates us. This is where the cry of science, philosophy and man stems from. If we don’t start changing ourselves according to Godliness that is being revealed, we will find ourselves opposed to it. The real problem isn’t concealed in this world, but rather in the fact that the Creator “lands” on us, the integral network of the general mutual connection. It is hanging over us, like a giant flying saucer from a science fiction movie, and descends, thus leaving us fewer and fewer options to maneuver. Let’s hope that people will understand this.
So it all depends on a person: whether he changes himself in order to continue his development correctly now, or not.
Let’s get back to science and philosophy: The exile of the Jewish people and its integration with the nations of the world was meant to provide us with science, with information about the desire to receive. The wisdom of Kabbalah, on the other hand, teaches us about the external reality, changing our desire, and it is arranged that way so that the Light will go through the desire and will give it the form of bestowal. Without the passing of the Light, the wisdom of Kabbalah wouldn’t exist. It appeared when people began to explore their desire, its structure, and life, and after having examined it, they began to draw the Light that Reforms upon themselves, which means that they began to reform themselves and to change to the good, to bestowal instead of receiving.
The Light changes my discernments and I collect the data and eventually discover a new science called “the wisdom of Kabbalah.”

Don’t Neglect The Friend


Question: Why is it that the more you give a person what he is supposed to pass on to somebody else, he keeps it to himself and doesn’t wish to pay it forward? Suppose a person asked me for help. For me, it’s not a big deal, and I don’t receive any material benefit from it. I give him a hand because I feel that I am rising spiritually. But I want the person to be better.
Answer: I don’t understand why you would demand this. We don’t do it. We must think that when we help a person, we are approaching the upper force. We become similar to it, meaning that when I bestow to another, I get a chance to be like the Creator, up to the point that I reach a state when I will begin to feel that I’ve reached the first degree of similarity with Him.
To achieve that, I have to exert certain efforts and perform certain actions. They accumulate since this is a cumulative process. And as I do, I start feeling contrasts: I want, I don’t want at the same time increasing all kinds of doubts, criticism, etc. But if I move forth correctly and understand that all of this is done to enhance the quality of my efforts to help, toward bestowal, then I don’t demand anything.
What for? For me, this is already the very realization of my desire. The reward is the revelation of the Creator, revealing myself at a higher rung. In that case, I should thank the person who gives me an opportunity to act this way.
We cultivate it in the group because from it I can get the force to operate so I can get the right response. Even if later I start hating this person or thinking of him critically, it’s also good. Today I feel this way about him, tomorrow, he feels this way about me, and so on. That is, we are being “stewed” in the same emotions: giving – receiving, receiving – giving.
But we shouldn’t be demanding. Why? He did you a favor by being an object thanks to which you became more similar to the Creator, your next degree. The only demand of the friends in the group is for them to follow the group’s code: to come, study, clean the facility, and doing dissemination. That is another matter.
As for the rest, treat him not as a person who is supposed to do what we all decided in order to support our organization, but as a soul I am connecting with in order to reveal the mutual quality of bestowal and reception, in order to discover my upper world. I can’t neglect the friend. We have to understand that everything the Creator is showing us in the friends, is what we see of Him.

Central Valve On The Pipeline Of Life


Question: In recent news, here and there, the first drops of information regarding the upcoming international sanctions planned against Israel have started to leak. European countries have already openly stated this, and the UN is preparing certain sanctions.
Tension rising from a small seed is beginning to grow like a snowball, triggering a domino effect where one event leads to an avalanche of others. We can imagine where it may take us since we have seen how this works in the example in other countries. You explain that all evil is revealed so that we reveal the good. Now that we can already  see this evil that is about to overtake us, what can we do to correct the situation and bring us to the good?
Answer: I hope that we will first realize that everything descends from the upper force and there is nothing else. The entire nation of Israel must reach the final realization of the middle line. And then, in relation to the rest of the world, we will be a shamash, the candle that lights up all the other candles in the candelabrum.
Nature is one, and within it, there is only one upper force; Einstein attempted to discover it some time ago. This is the one force working in the entire universe, and all the other forces and laws man observes and senses derive from it.
We exist within the grid of forces, which is under the authority of one upper force that holds all of reality together. If we uncover this unified force, we will know everything: how to get along with this force, how to manage ourselves, how to achieve the best possible condition, and what our purpose is in accordance with the general program of creation, and what goal we are supposed to reach.
So, we needn’t fear the UN and other countries’ sanctions if we are holding on to this upper force. After all, we understand that all negative events are a projection of our own shortcomings that we need to feel in the form of disappointments, problems, and threats so that we may advance and be more united.
Then let’s start uniting! Let’s become as the Torah teaches us: “One man with one heart.” If we started to connect, we would be able to see the “reverse world.” In the same world today, full of hatred and enmity, there would be peace, contentment, and good relations, many times greater than the what we are trying to achieve now.
The nations of the world will immediately start feeling good about the people of Israel and will only wait for when we will achieve even greater connection. After all, through our connection, as through a pipe, the upper force begins flooding the world. And then thecrisis fades, and all the hatred, all the competition, all the problems, religious clashes, unrest, and economic hardships disappear.
Everything stabilizes and calms down, and it is solely up to us! Therefore, I take the news about sanctions and the enormous pressure and threat as a sign that the nation of Israel is at a crucial, critical point in history. This is where it is being decided whether the world will move forth benevolently—toward oneness, which is the end point of our development. As it is written: “And My house will be the house of prayer for all peoples,” and “all nations will gather in it to unite in a single union.”
Or are we going to have to move towards the same goal, but by suffering? That implies a third world war and terrible misery and suffering, and most of all for the people of Israel. After all, we are the ones responsible for the world’s correction, and therefore, all the pressure and all the troubles that come upon the whole world will return to us as a result so that we suffer.
We are the center, the same group that came out of Babylon and was once perfected. But then it was correction only for ourselves, but now we have to perfect the whole world, to become “a light to all nations.”
So when I hear about impending UN sanctions and the European countries, I am not looking for some temporary relief measures. The only way to avoid this threat is to begin moving in the right direction. Otherwise, nothing will help.
We have nowhere to run; we are here and now begin the correcting process, having acknowledged that it is all up to us and it is our sole responsibility to build a center of the world here from where the whole world will be receiving its spiritual nourishment.

Concealed And Revealed


The wisdom of Kabbalah consists of two parts: the concealed and the revealed.
“Concealed” means forbidden to reveal. And what is the point in revealing? Indeed, everything can be written in books, but what a person can get from them depends on the state he is in. Thus one of the parts of the wisdom of Kabbalah is called “concealed,” because it is revealed only after certain conditions are fulfilled as a person goes through the cleansing of his ego.
It is also called that way since the upper part of the world of Atzilut is inaccessible to us. Even if I learn about the smallest, initial level of the spiritual ascent and am still in the world of Assiya, Yetzira, Beria and only later enter the world of Atzilut, still, even the smallest level I am on, the first ten parts called “one level” (one level is made of tenSefirot), already gives me an idea about all of creation, but in a minimal way, on a small scale. Then I rise and see, like on a map that I read on a larger scale, everything there is enlarged.
But being at the bottom, I cannot bring the concealed part, GAR of Atzilut, its upper part, close to me in any way, which means to depict it. I can imagine different lower levels more or less, and then too I am always wrong, since every upper level is a new attribute regarding a lower level. Still, I can somehow imagine it, but not the levels that are concealed or that are called secret. All the levels below them are called revealed and we can reach them all, anticipating in advance what revelations they will bring us.
The first Partzuf of the world of Atzilut is called Atik, from the Hebrew word “ne’etak” – “cut,” detached and cut off, from our attainment. The next Partzuf is called Zeir Anpin, and the upper part of its “head” is called Keter, or more accurately Kitra (in Aramaic), and this part is also concealed.
Everything that is below this part is gradually revealed to us: Kruma of AviraMocha ofAviraMocha Stima. The structure of all these parts is very interesting, since it is from them, from the revealed part of the head of Arich Anpin, that the Providence descends into our world, that our fate descends.

We Can’t Be Robbed Of Freewill


Question: What does it mean to “correct past mistakes and transgressions” and become a “complete righteous?”
Answer: We reform desires that have gone through the breaking. A person comes face to face with his evil inclination, and he perceives it as his own; that is, he takes the blame for it. He doesn’t identify himself with the point in the heart and cannot observe his desire from aside as the material given to him for correction. So far, he clings not to the Creator, who created this evil inclination, but identifies with the evil inclination itself. The Light has not clarified his desire yet and hasn’t severed it from the person to move him to the Creator’s side. So, one thinks that it is he who is bad and not the evil inclination.
The Light has not sufficiently reformed him, hasn’t illuminated his desires, so a person doesn’t see the source of all evil and then of all good. In other words, he doesn’t consider himself subject to a singular power beyond which there is nothing else, and he doesn’t realize that he is always ruled by one source, which determines how bad the desires are and how to correct them.
He doesn’t understand yet that he must ask to have selfish desires revealed and how to correct them. After all, everything is done by the Light that Reforms that reveals the left line first. To the extent that one strives to reach total correction, bestowal, according to how much effort he exerts, the Light comes and reveals his evil inclination to him.
He has to pray for the Creator to show him what he is lacking for perfection. The prayer is to reveal the desire to be human, to be perfect, faithful to the Creator, and to bestow. Revealing what I need for perfection is to see the deficiencies that I have to correct in order to achieve the good.
But I don’t ask for my deficiencies to be revealed; a person is unable to do so. Due to our nature, we can only ask for good conditions.
Our work is to come to this understanding that all desires, corrected and uncorrected, are in the Creator’s hands. And man is that small clever child who knows how to ask the Creator correctly. And then this whole monster will become revealed: the evil inclination, egoism, Pharaoh, which later on will change and get transformed into a good inclination, by way of restriction, the screen, and the Reflected Light.
All of this descends from above, as it is written: “I created the evil inclination and the Torah to correct it since the Light in it reforms.” So where does a person come in, if at all, since the Creator said that everything comes from Him? What a person needs is awareness, a prayer for a good state.
But he doesn’t want to ask for what is good; after all, his nature is the evil inclination. So he has to use the power of the group that will infuse him with these good values although he may not necessarily sense them. It looks as if they are playing a game; they are staging a good state and through this influence each other. Thus, a person achieves a greater and greater desire until the Light has finally reformed him.
All of this is arranged so as not to rob a person of hiss freewill. He has to be aware that he is merely acting, while in reality having no desire for any of it, and that he opposes the true, perfect state. And the closer he moves to the right state, the greater freewill he is given, the more of the sinner in him is revealed, and greater doubts in needing this path unfold in him. He has to discern these things, matching himself against the other side, comparing good and evil.
Hence, our entire work rests on our freedom of choice, and all we have to do is to offer ourselves to the influence of the group that we have built according to our understanding of the spiritual world. We should play so as to have the group affect everyone as if all of this is true. And then, everyone will come to the true prayer.
