Torah, Deuteronomy 14:21: You shall not eat any carcass. You may give it to the stranger who is in your cities, that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to the Lord, your God…
“The stranger who is in your cities” are qualities that you don’t consider yours, from which you get rid and send outside of the limits of your desire. However, it should still exist, because the entire world is inside a person.
There are a great number of nations and ethnic groups in this world who follow other laws and customs. Why? This indicates what our desires are made from.
Therefore, we must understand that there is a set of all possible desires within us in the hierarchy—from the most uncorrected ones that still need to be corrected (but today they are at the level of so-called savage people, nations of the world) to the highest ones. The entire hierarchy is arranged only according to the possibility of realizing these desires for the benefit of others.
Foreigners and strangers can either enter into your house, that is, those desires with which you already work for bestowal, or they can be outside. It all depends on how much you approximate and correct them.
Question: Can we call them Klipa (impure desires)?
Answer: Klipa are those desires that are outside of your city.
They still need to be fed, but there are certain steps in feeding them only to the extent that they are necessary for further corrections and use for bestowal.
This is a very serious, vast, global system. It is impossible to understand it with the mind, only internally, when it emerges in your senses. After all, you can feel everything as a whole in your senses, but it is impossible to describe it with your mind.
Try to describe your relationship with the group or in the family. You carry them within you! To present them externally, you would need numerous volumes and still wouldn’t be able to describe everything.
Question: But a person thinks that all this is very complicated. How can we come to this?!
Answer: There is nothing complicated if you try to create it in your feelings and not in your head. If a person tries to absorb it all into himself, then everything happens naturally.
