Question: The same primitive savage always exists within us that overpowers us when our emotions operate. Will this part always remain in a person?
Answer: No, not always. If you continue to engage in the wisdom of Kabbalah, you will feel that there are two opposing forces in you and that you are between them with freedom of choice in what is called the middle line.
Question: Is the conflict between cultures and civilizations determined from above by the Creator, or is this the result of egoistic human desires?
Answer: It is the same thing. The conflict is created through egoism which the Creator manages. Nothing happens on its own in nature. We are within a system called nature that manages everything.
Question: Is it possible to say that a flock of birds feel the Creator when they act collectively?
Answer: No, the birds don’t feel the Creator. They feel the general managing force instinctively and obey it. That is how a large flock of birds turns simultaneously to this side or the other, none of them hindering another. A similar thing is also possible to see with fish. We cannot imagine that people will instinctively begin to cooperate mutually like this.
Question: Can we reduce the 230 years that we have left until the completion of correction (Gmar Tikkun) and by how much?
Answer: Yes, we can. There are no limits to this. If all of us were now to gather into one single whole with a single intention, then, with this, we would finish our present earthly existence and would feel that we are together in the state of the collective soul in an eternal and perfect world.
Question: The present generation has forgotten what Fascism and Nazism are. Two generations ago, people gave up their lives because of them. So, why do you say that suffering passes from generation to generation? What do people remember?
Answer: The generation in which terrible events occurred, such as the Second World War, had no freedom of choice. You have freedom of choice, so you can understand, recognize, and reach a feeling of good and evil. In contrast to this, for that generation, there was no choice. They just felt the immense evil of the tremendous and terrible blows they experienced. But specifically following this terrible suffering, we were brought to freedom of choice. So, today, we can make our free choice more consciously and accurately.
