Question: It has been said that the Creator is suffering much more than we do because He has to conceal Himself and send sufferings to us. Does this mean that the Creator is alive? If not, then the notion “to please the Creator” doesn’t make sense.
Answer: Everything we sense is only inside us even though it seems to us that it exists outside of us.
Therefore, the Creator in Hebrew is Bore from the words “Bo – come and Re – see.” It means, “attain the Creator according to your spiritual properties.” The wisdom of Kabbalahexplains how one can reveal them within oneself.
As a result, everything is explained through a person’s words and feelings, the way a person feels it rather than the way it’s sensed outside of him, by the Creator. Moreover, there is no Creator outside of the person!
