Question: If pleasure is a form of light and the only source of light is the Creator, how can receiving pleasure be disconnected from the source?
Answer: This so-called “pleasure disconnected from the source” is pleasure not from giving, but from receiving. In our world, all pleasures are like that.
Question: Does that mean if it is pleasure from bestowal, then it is not disconnected from the source but is connected with it? Does all the sweetness come from there?
Answer: Yes, food, sex, family, wealth, honor, and knowledge are all pleasures of our world that we receive apart from the Creator. Therefore, they are all transient, do not remain, cannot be eternal, and all of them end badly.
