Question: You have compared the point in the heart to seed in manure. Is the seed the point in the heart and the manure the heart?
Answer: Yes. The heart is egoism, i.e., manure, fertilizer, thanks to which we grow.
And the point in the heart is the divine part from above. It must grow from this world, from this dung—egoism. This is not a frivolous expression.
The Creator has intentionally created opposite systems (egoistic and altruistic ones) so that we can receive and take everything from the ego to the extent that we feel the importance of our altruistic development. This means that we will grow to the extent that we want this development and transfer forces from our ego into this system. It is long and serious work, but this is actually how we can grow.
So, our work is built on contradictions: egoism and altruism, the right, the left, and the middle line. Everything depends on how much we can absorb nourishing materials from the fertilizer, from the ego, in order to ascend and develop the point in the heart.
