A Field Which The Lord Has Blessed

Rabash, “Love of Friends” Article No 3: A man “wandering in the field” refers to a place from which the crop of the field to sustain the world should spring. And the works of the field are plowing, sowing, and reaping. It is said about that: “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy,” and this is called “a field which the Lord has blessed.”

The field symbolizes a person’s egoism, which must be properly plowed, planted with the right seeds, and watered with tears.

Then, it is necessary to beat out the grains from the sprouted wheat ears, disperse the husks in the wind, and perform many other actions that imply spiritual work to correct the ego. It is the prototype of all our corporeal works in the field.

The grains are ground by millstones, which are activated by animals walking around in a circle, blindfolded, so that they will not see that the work they do is useless for them. They need grain, not flour, because bread is baked from flour and that is food for the human.

Therefore, a person must plow, grind, and cleanse himself with the work in the group, closing his eyes to his inner animal qualities so that they would work for the benefit of the harvest.

As a result of this work, all qualities will be concentrated in a person, will manifest themselves, and he will achieve complete correction.

We need not do anything else. By uniting with your friends in the group, you will “find” them and fix the connection between you. These are all your inner selfish qualities. But in order to connect them together, you must acquire the Creator’s qualities. That will be your main property, Joseph, with which you will come to the end of correction.

To give “sustenance to the whole world” implies the end of correction, and the “field which the Lord has blessed” is the corrected field.
