Summary
In nature, development is based on a prey and predator dynamic since everything lives by consuming the others. Parasites, for example, consume their hosts just as a baby takes what it needs from its mother. Humans are more sophisticated predators because we have a sense of self, a “private ego” that distinguishes the individual from everyone else. Hatred only exists in humans. We depend on one another while we simultaneously want to destroy each other.
