Question: What is the difference between the sensation of evil and the recognition of evil?
Answer: When I feel evil, I simply feel bad. By recognizing evil, I understand what is happening to me and the reason for it, what I need to do about it, and how correction will benefit me. All of this together is recognition of evil. However, it is not yet actualization.
At first I feel bad, but I endure, and then I go to the doctor when left with no other choice. Similarly, right now mankind is also at the stage of the accumulation of evil, until it begins to reveal it, for lack of choice. And then people will finally hear what we are saying.
For example, I had a conference with seven professors from the University of Zurich. We spent over an hour talking, and then they spent another two hours discussing the things they heard. They did not expect this at all. Among them were an Imam, a Sufi, a Buddhist, a Catholic, and a Jew. All of them are engaged in research of cultures and religions.
I told them the history of the development of mankind and Kabbalah from the times ofAbraham until modern times, explained the growth of egoism, and described the modern crisis as a launch pad for jumping into the new degree through unity.
Every word was a surprise to them. And we are referring to intelligent, educated scientists from a large university, which serves as the umbrella for thirty scientific-research institutes.
What can be said of simple people? How much time will it take until they experience so much evil to hear about its cause?
It is not about how smart we are. We are not smart; our message is simply repugnant to human nature. That is the whole point.
So, we have a lot of work ahead of us. On one hand we need patience and perseverance on the other. We need to put all our effort into it and we will succeed.
