Question: What is the mechanism for discovering the law of equivalence of form (similarity of properties) in nature?

Answer: The law of equivalence of form operates on all levels, but we don’t recognize that it is operating everywhere. If you and I have the same characteristics, we are close to each other, we understand each other. It is possible to describe this with physical bodies and also chemical elements.

However, the law of equivalence of form does not describe nature in our world because as a general rule, such objects (plus plus) reject each other, but it describes nature in spiritual space, what happens according to the degree of similarity of internal characteristics, not the physical.

In spirituality, there is only the getting closer and the distancing of objects according to the degree of similarity or difference of characteristics. This is the basic law of behavior in spiritual space.

Due to the power of this law, in our world we cannot discern characteristics that are not found in us. A person can see only what is in him. For example, a cruel person will not see kindness and mercy in others because to do this there must be a similarity of characteristics.

This is the reason that we don’t perceive the Creator as good that does good unless we are like that ourselves. The Creator is revealed only as a bounty of good and warmth, which are absent in us.

Question: Should this be accepted as an axiom or must one believe in the law?

Answer: At present, you should accept this as an axiom so that it will be used as the basis for what we do.

Through the Kabbalistic method, we gradually create a new sense. This sense will be somewhat similar to the characteristics of the Creator, and then we begin to discover Him within us to the degree of our similarity and equivalence with Him, until we attain Him fully.

Question: Is this the reason that it is so difficult for people to understand a Kabbalist?

Answer: In fact, it is impossible to understand a Kabbalist. Even a Kabbalist cannot understand another Kabbalist who is on a higher level because he is always limited only by the set of spiritual characteristics that are already created within him and he is ready to feel.

Education Determines A Person’s Fate

Question from Facebook: You keep saying that education is the answer to all the problems both of the individual and the world. But people have been saying that for decades, and despite the many organizations that engage in education, life goes on according to its own laws.

Answer: Life goes on according to the laws of egoism. And we must act so that it will flow according to the laws of altruism: love, bestowal, and unity. No one does this and no one can.

The only one who succeeded in this 3,500 years ago was Abraham when he called all those who wanted to overcome the universal social humanitarian crisis that broke out in Babylon. He founded a group of people who joined him and clung to him, and he called it Israel or the Jewish nation.

Abraham became the first father of the new system of education of unity. This group has existed since then for 3,500 years, and cannot be divided or disappear! It stands against all the other nations of the world, the same Babylonians who spread and settled all over the world, and everyone feels that there is something special about them.

All we have to do is to start teaching this method to the entire world because the world already understands that there is no other choice and that the main thing is unity since, otherwise, people will destroy each other.

Question: Are you referring to the entire Jewish nation when you speak about a group that knows this method?

Answer: No, all the Jews have lost this method, except for Kabbalists who have been leading and implementing it from one generation to the next based on their own experience. If they lead this education system and supervise it, humanity will reach its good end. It will reach complete unity.

Question: Do you believe that people will listen to that?

Answer: If they don’t, there will be several serious wars that will involve such sufferings that they will have to listen. But the wise foresee these sufferings from afar and does not enter them.

Men And Women: You Cannot Eliminate The Differences

Question: Where are the rules mentioned according to which a woman must stand behind a man? Today a woman works, earns money like a man, and takes care of children and the home. After all of that, she still has to follow a man with her “head bowed”?

Answer: I understand how the picture looks to you, but it is completely different. According to our current situation, a woman can work equally like a man, but the continuity of the generation is a special right that is given to her. Also housekeeping, no matter how it is viewed, rests upon her shoulders. The difference still exists and there is no need to eliminate it.

We are going through a period in the development of humanity in which we want to be revolutionaries, changing the world according to our imagination, according to our understanding and desire. Ultimately we will understand that the result is much worse and that it is better to return to the sources and act according to the nature of the world and our own nature and not to invent something else.

Why should a woman work and do everything just like a man? The rate of unemployment today has reached 30 – 40%. Wouldn’t it be better if only men were working in the world? And women would be engaged with the education of children, self-education, and preparing a fertile ground for the men. Then it could be that the family would be stronger and the world would be much warmer and better, without wars and other problems.

Let’s each deal with our own business! I do not think that the education of children and housework is somehow less than the work of a man sitting at a computer, for instance.

Giving birth, educating, moving humanity forward generation after generation is women’s work! What could be more basic and necessary?

Question: Does that mean that nobody needs 80% of the work that is done in the world?

Answer: Of course it isn’t needed! In the end, what do we get? Children are run around who knows where and how. And what will come of them isn’t clear. A woman should have a psychological and pedagogical education in order to educate children, take care of them properly, and build a family correctly.

A woman personifies the home. In Hebrew, “home” is a woman, a mother, wife, the mistress of the house. The man is an appendage to her, bringing home a salary and is engaged with obtaining physical and spiritual food. The woman carries out her spiritual work by way of the home. And this division is very important.

But now we are in such a stage, such an incarnation, where everything has turned upside down. But we will return to carrying out our functions correctly because in the present state we cannot complete the correction of the world.

Where Is My Freewill?

Baal HaSulam “The Freedom”: So you tell me, where is my freedom of will?

On the other hand, if we assume that the will has no freedom, then we are all like machines, operating and creating through external forces, which force them to act this way.

This means that we are all incarcerated in the prison of Providence, which, using these two chains, pleasure and pain, pushes and pulls us to its will, to where it sees fit. It turns out that there is no such thing as selfishness in the world.

In our world, a person doesn’t have any freewill, nature controls him completely. He represents a certain set of desires and therefore causes some or other positive and negative influences.

Thus, the freedom of will arises in a person only when he can make a restriction (Tzimtzum) on his desires.

In this case, the upper Light begins to influence him; it raises a person above his nature and he can already work in the quality of bestowal, in other words, absolutely selflessly, without any need to pursue any personal goals and benefits.

This already is a spiritual quality that appears in us only due to the influence of the upper Light, and it comes and instigates this ability in us only if we attract it correctly. It means that we are in a circle with friends, study Kabbalistic texts, and try to constantly work on the connection between us.

Is It Worth Searching For Extraterrestrial Civilizations?

Question: From the point of view of the wisdom of Kabbalah, does it make sense to search for extraterrestrial civilizations?

Answer: When we talk about something that exists, we mean that it exists relative to a person’s attainment and what he expects.

Everything that he sees is happening within him. So if we assume that there is a planet Mars, it means that it is within a person as the expression of some desire that he has. Does life exist on Mars? What does life mean? What are the properties of protein?

From the aspect of the perception of reality, there is no life anywhere. Everything that a person investigates, he investigates within himself. All of the laws, everything that I see and feel, it is all inside of me.

Question: If a person was born in 1940, before I was born, how can he be a part of me?

Answer: Everything is comprehended relative to the person who is the observer. So history, as it seems to us, having gone on for thousands and even millions of years, its counts, inscriptions, chain, axes of time, and actions, everything is in each one of us.

Question: Does that mean there is no history and there were no dinosaurs?

Answer: There was nothing. Everything is within me. That is the way my desires, which remain in me as special memories, are integrated within me. After all, it is not matter, it is only a Reshimo (a record of information).

Climbing Mt. Sinai

Question from Facebook: A friend and I decided to climb Mt. Sinai. At a certain point, I felt so weak that I couldn’t move and I gave in. I feel that I was given a chance and that I did not take it.

Answer: There is nothing holy about Mt. Sinai. It was a holy moment when the Jews received the Torah, not the mountain itself but the state of the children of Israel at the foot of the mountain in order to connect and to receive the upper Light.

The upper Light fills not only our space but other dimensions as well. It is dressed in us and fills us to the degree that we can resemble it, and the resemblance is attained by our yearning to unite between us.

Therefore, Mt. Sinai is simply a geographic landmark along the way and nothing more. In fact, it is the state that people achieve when they want to connect to each other above their egoism. Then their united egoism creates a mountain that grows right in front of them, and they must rise above it.

The point in their heart called Moses rises above their egoism and the whole nation (egoism) remains below, but agrees, by lowering its head, to obey what the Creator tells Moses and to accept this state in order to later attain the same ascent together.

How Do We Comprehend Nature?

Question: Why is the principle of holography implemented in nature? Why don’t we feel it?

Answer: We attain everything that surrounds us through our senses, and so the attainment is according to the person who attains. That is why we cannot say that we attain nature objectively.

If we aspire to attain the Creator in the tenth dimension because that’s the way we were created, we don’t feel and don’t understand it any other way because our mind, our sensory instrument, is arranged according to a certain system. If it were created differently, we would probably be able to perceive and understand the environment differently.

It is hard to say what our universe would look like then. It is impossible to describe that because everything is perceived and reflected by a person in his consciousness. Without it, it is impossible to say how things would look.

Close To The Point Of Choice

Question: What does the wisdom of Kabbalah say about the concept of freedom of choice?

Answer: Freedom of choice is the same point that attracts a person to the wisdom of Kabbalah, to determine if he has freedom of choice or not.

If a person has no freedom of choice, he lives quietly, comfortably, maximally keeping himself away from problems for the rest of his life. But if he has freedom of choice, what is that? It is in relation to what? In what framework?

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains that, in principle, freedom of choice is related to the behavior of a person. A person in our world must attain a particular state, meaning he must gradually discover his inner potential in the spiritual world, which is unknown to him and is not felt by him for the meantime.

It is possible to discover the spiritual world in two ways: either naturally when life compels us to do this or a person yearns to advance by himself, voluntarily. A duality is created: either a person acts independently or he waits until nature goads him from behind, “with a stick toward happiness.”

The wisdom of Kabbalah says that all of us move forward driven by nature. But if a person invests effort, he can hasten the process so that it will be successful and pleasant.

Freedom of choice amounts to choosing how to achieve the goal that was predetermined by nature. The goal itself will be achieved in any case: it will be either through freewill or by coercion. Ultimately, a person has no freedom of choice.

Question: In what stage does freedom of choice appear to a person?

Answer: It appears after a person finishes his development on the levels of still, vegetative, and animate and transforms from an ape into an Adam. For thousands of years of evolution, systems began to be developed in which a person could use freedom of choice.

This must appear in a person as a duality: there is a desire that belongs to the next level, the upper world, and the state in which he exists on his lowest level.

Freedom of choice then appears within him: either he develops according to what is called the point in the heart (a desire for the next, higher level), or he remains on his own level.
