Only A Miracle Will Melt The Stony Heart

Our correction consists of acquiring a “head.” This is the entire difference between the initial Malchut of the world of Infinity from which all the worlds have expanded, and the Malchut of the world of Infinity in its final, third, state to which we return as we complete the correction.

The entire difference is in this head because Malchut of the world of Infinity is completely filled with the Light both in the first and the third state—only the mind is added. A simple desire, which existed before, now operates with intention and makes a calculation about how much it can receive for the sake of bestowal, how much it can give for the sake of bestowal, and whether to not receive at all or to receive egoistically.

From the Creator’s authority all these decisions are passed on to the creature, to man himself. Then, a person acquires an opportunity to please the Creator in the same way that the Creator pleases him, like a guest who accepts the host’s treats. For this reason, he attains the same position, the same degree, as the Creator.

We need to work on our intention on this path, but sometimes it is necessary to separate from the Light, the Creator, the Host, so that His greatness and absolute power that spreads to the entire universe will remain hidden from us, allowing us to keep our independence. Even when I feel free, like a child left home alone by his parents, I still try to behave well, as if the Host were always with me.

And this is despite the fact that my nature constantly resists, conceals the Host from me, and leads in the opposite direction. Everything is made the way it is so that I imagine the Creator before me and thus, study and reveal Him.

This is why our world is called the revelation in concealment, “Megilat Esther (scrolls of Esther).” We begin this work the very first time we begin to feel the desire to understand the meaning of life. From that moment, I remain confused and unable to understand who I am and why I exist, where I am going.

The first thing I need to do here is to calm down and understand that every moment, I am in the best state for advancement. There is an entire system of Partzufim, worlds,Sefirot, and Reshimot (spiritual genes) operating above, and this entire mechanism is only intended to help me. All the worlds are only created for man to constantly provide him with the best state for advancement toward the goal of creation, his perfect state.

The one who accepts this a priori already has a different attitude toward everything that happens to him. Then, he stops complaining and seeing problems everywhere, disagreeing with his states, and everything that happens to him and the world. This only testified to his foolishness and nearsightedness. Now, he begins to search for how, according to what formula, with what attitude, he will be able to derive the maximum benefit from every state for the attainment of the goal.

There are certain conditions set ahead of time that I do not understand because I am unfamiliar with the entire system. This is why we need to accept as given every current state where I have ended up with my desires and thoughts, my heart and mind, and direct it toward the attainment of the goal.

The goal is adhesion with the Creator, the attainment of similarity to Him. This is why I need to try to imagine the Creator in every state and become like Him, take my example from Him like a guest from the host. As it is written: “I to my Beloved, and my Beloved to me.”

One who understands his state, accepts it as given, and correctly directs himself so that “Israel, the Torah, and the Creator are one” advances this way. Then, he finds a mentor, books, the group, and the goal. All this is before him; all the roads are open.

This is a gradual, step-by-step process that ends with a great miracle. We can see the end of all the corrections in it because all corrections are intended for revealing the “stony heart,” the point that separates us from the Creator, called “existence from absence.” We are “absence,” while He exists. We want to overcome this difference, which is called the attainment of adhesion.

However, we discover that it is an abyss that cannot be stepped over, just as one born a woman cannot become a man, and one born black cannot become white or red. We cannot change the qualities we have received from nature.

The biggest difference of all the possible differences is the one between “existence” and “absence.” We reveal this difference in the form of the stony heart, which is corrected through a miracle called Purim.

The Goal Of The Group

We have gathered to lay the foundation of the group for those interested in learning the laws of nature and following them. Our development represents a path that allows us to rise from unconscious development under the pressure of the forces of nature at the animate level and reach the level of conscious development appropriate to the human level. The difference between animate development and development at the level of human is in the understanding of the process of our natural development and its conscious realization.

The essence of the human level is that instead of developing under the compelling forces of nature, a person studies the laws of nature and follows them consciously. Thus, he wins twofold: He moves on his own accord and quickly, without suffering blows and gladly accepting all the changes within himself. He penetrates the laws of nature and becomes the master of his destiny.

It should be made clear that the cause of all our suffering is our lack of understanding of the laws of nature with respect to the individual and society. We study and are able to understand nature at its still, vegetative, and animate levels, but since we are at the level of human, we cannot comprehend this level, that is, the attitude of nature toward us. We can study only what is at the level below us.

Nature is integral, whole, and it gradually develops all its parts, including us, to this state. Until our time, we were developing in a simple, linear, egoistic progression, instinctively obeying the orders of nature within us. However, recently, we have completed the phase of our linear, egoistic development and further must become, individually and all together, similar to integral nature. The objective of our natural development is to learn the essence of nature, its program and purpose.

By studying the laws of integral, analog systems, we recognize that it means our complete unity in a single society, mutual bestowal and love. We realize that this is completely opposite to our egoism, the nature in which we were created. We wish to fulfill only our personal desires. This is opposite to that level of full interconnectedness that we have to achieve according to the plan of nature.

By uniting in spite of everyone’s egoistic desire through our actions of mutual bestowal, we are building a model that is similar to nature, to its quality to give to and to fulfill its parts. Through our efforts of mutual bestowal and love, we leave behind the impact of the harsh driving forces of development and advance toward the goal: complete integration and similarity to nature.

We can be proud that we evolve consciously, not running away from the blows like an animal, but by attaining the force that governs us. This raises us to the highest level of nature, to its complete attainment, toward being fulfilled by its upper force and goodness.

Although we have not reached the goal, we have the desire to achieve it. This also should be important for us, although we are still at the beginning of the path. However, we hope that we will reach this exalted goal.

Passing On The Materials Of Our Teachers To The Masses

In general, we don’t use adapted materials. The only exception is the text of Zohar L’Am (The Zohar for All), which we prepared not for ourselves but rather for the people. We see that it does help to create a close contact with the source. So as part of the help that we have to offer humanity that is sinking in the crisis, we must turn to the masses.

Baal HaSulam even went to Poland in order to become acquainted with the workers’ uprising movements. In general, he made great efforts to create a dialogue with the world: He published a newspaper, wrote The Writings of the Last Generation, tried to get closer to the people, spoke with Ben Gurion about the necessary changes in society, in education, and so on. Therefore, we, who are following Baal HaSulam’s footsteps, must promote and bring the masses even closer to the method that Baal HaSulam and Rabash left us.

Of course, we can’t write the right materials by ourselves. After all, we are not on a level that will enable us to fill them with the Light that Reforms. We have no connection with the upper Lights as did our teachers. But in order to serve as the link, the pipe that passes the Light to the people, we should try to be “Israel,” which means with the help of our teachers, to yearn as much as we can straight to the Creator (Yashar – El) and also to be “a kingdom of priests and a holy nation” with regards to the world.

Therefore, we should try to adapt a bit the materials, written by our holy teachers, for the public—to adapt them externally, changing the inner content as little as possible, to the extent that we understand it. This will certainly be a corruption, but by that at least we start correcting something. Eventually, the world may begin to read the writings of Baal HaSulam and Rabash in their original form.

Therefore, we adapt the articles that appeal to a person and talk about his internal work, about his connection with the group and about getting closer to nature, to the Creator. After all, the Gematria (numerical value) of the word “God” (אלה-ים) is the same as “nature” (הטבע). We hope that this will help people come closer to the method of correction.

Let’s hope that the public will use these texts. They don’t repel the reader because they have been adapted so there is nothing that may seem religious, related to some sect or nationality. It’s about the balance between man and nature in our days, which is an essential precondition for saving humanity from the crisis and total collapse.

How To “Weave” A Created Being

Even in order to exist in corporeality we need the Light: a slight illumination (Kista de Huyuta), the smallest spark of the Light that broke through from spirituality as a result of the Big Bang and created all the matter in our world, which is actually imaginary and exists only in our perception. But that was only the beginning, and the rest of our evolution is in building the real matter, meaning the desire. The matter that we see in front of us is ephemeral and nonexistent. Physicists have also discovered lately that the matter of this world does not exist, that it’s not particles, but the energetic field of forces, which appears like moving particles to them.

In order to discover the real matter, the great desire to receive in all its different fashions, we need the Light that created, made, begot, all these forms of matter in four phases ofHaVaYaH (Yod-Key-Vav-Key), or in the worlds of Atzilut, Beria, Yetzira, and Assiya, which stem from the world of Adam Kadmon. This is called “the lower half of Keter,” while the world of Infinity is “the upper half of Keter.”

We begin to advance in spirituality if we receive the Light from Above that develops matter. In order to hasten the development of our matter, the desire to receive, we were given the wisdom of Kabbalah that can help us consciously perform different actions, instead of waiting for many stages of our development to go by, and only afterwards to begin to understand what’s going on. Even then we’ll not understand it until the end. Does a person at the end of his life understand much of all he has been through? After all, he doesn’t understand the reasons for different events, the conenction between them, or the depth of creation. Nothing is revealed to him, and his life just passes by.

We, however, can advance in life by putting ourselves in motion by ourselves, when we understand what’s happening to us so well that we can check and change ourselves and put together the parts of this creation. Then we’ll be able to see and to study how by putting things together in different ways we can get different results and by that learn. We acquire the upper spiritual knowledge in the mind (Daat) of our Partzuf, which is gradually revealed to us. This is called “the Light of Hassadim in the illumination of Hochma.” Thus, from the bottom up, we begin to attain it and by that become real scientists who compose creation of all these particles.

Where can we get the mind, the feeling, the discernments, and the intentions for how to carry this out? From the simple upper Light that descends upon us. Then we’ll begin to develop. We don’t know what we lack, in which directions our mind and feelings should expand, and in what way our brain and heart should cooperate in order to “weave” the right vessel for us.

Let’s hope that by reading The Zohar we’ll be able to draw this general Light, and it will prepare the understanding and the feeling for us, by which we’ll eventually be able to participate in the creation of the vessels. It says that “the Creator creates the worlds and destroys them, and the righteous correct these worlds,” working with Him like partners.

The Forefathers: Then And Now

Baal HaSulam, “The Arvut (Mutual Guarantee)”: Indeed, there is no dispute here, for everyone admits that to begin with, it is enough to start with one nation …for the beginning of the correction of the world. Undoubtedly, both the physical purity and the mental exaltedness of our Holy Fathers greatly influenced their sons and their sons’ sons, and their righteousness reflected upon that generation, whose members all assumed that sublime work, and each and every one stated clearly, “We shall do and we shall hear.” Because of that, we were chosen, out of necessity, to be a chosen people from among all the nations.

We study the general system that stems from the four phases of the expansion of the Direct Light. The Light operates on the desire that it created as “existence from absence,” and inevitably, the desire develops by the four phases. Only in the last phase does it feel itself separated from the root, from the Light, and in this state perceives the root as the bestowing one and itself as the receiving one.

As a result of this feeling of separation, the oppositeness in attributes, the desire restricts itself and performs internal changes in order to resemble the root. The root gives it the feeling of self-deficiency that stems from the evil and lowliness of receiving, and so the desire wants to change itself and to resemble its root.

The four phases create the matrix of Yod-Key-Vav-Key (HaVaYaH), or the “the name of the Creator.” This means that the Creator imprints His name, His action, in matter, meaning in the desire of the created being.

All our development occurs following the format of Yod-Key-Vav-Key, through the four phases and their root, or through the five worlds. In each one there are five Partzufim, and each one is divided into five Sefirot, a total of 125 degrees.

The five general stages of development are divided according to the Aviut (depth, “thickness”) of the desire, from the root (zero) level until the fourth phase, or into fiveSefirot: Keter, Hochma, Bina, ZA, and Malchut, or five Partzufim: Galgalta, AB, SAG,MA, and BON, or five worlds: AK, Atzilut, Beria, Yetzira, and Assiya. In short, the format of HaVaYaH surrounds everything, and there is nothing else in reality except for these five parts of the desire to receive. The Creator is also inside.

Accordingly, the last phase, Malchut, which needs correction, also includes five phases that are corrected gradually, starting with the “tip of Yod.” The levels that preceded us are called “forefathers” and “sons.” And we stem from them. This is the order of the correction of the vessels.

In fact, the level of the forefathers begins from Adam who was the first to discover the Creator. Then came the souls who do not belong to this world, although we call them Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and so on. It is a matter of numerology, as the name reflects the level that the soul attained in its correction.

We come after all these souls from the degrees of HBD and HGT, and we belong to the degrees of NHY. On the whole, all the souls make up the general vessel, and so at our stage we should see the continuation of the previous levels. Our small level is also divided into three corresponding parts: HBD, HGT, and NHY. In this round we are the forefathers with regards to the last degree, the last generation.

So we are connected to the forefathers because all the Sefirot match one another and are connected. Because we belong to the level of the forefathers, it is hard for us to be corrected. After all, it isn’t just about something that exists; rather, we have to rise in our mind and heart, in awareness and understanding, in clear attainment, and in a large scale, finite, and perfect action.

So we should be grateful that we were privileged to be the first. Yes, it is not easy. There are people in the world who prefer a “quiet place” and little responsibility, but there are those who what to spread the Creator’s name in the world. There is nothing we can do, it doesn’t depend on us; however, we should be grateful that we received such a special role, we should be proud. You can be a farmer, for instance, and simultaneously disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah.

There are many interruptions along this difficult path, which are especially meant for us. It will be much easier for others. We will build schools, kindergartens, and different systems for the new world: industry, management, government, and health care systems, and then people will enliven all that.

But it is us who attain the Creator fully and wholly, not like the forefathers in the past. They only had the Light of Nefesh, while we attain the head of the level with the greatest vessels of NHY, the essence of the Thought of Creation itself. This is because the wisdom of Kabbalah begins with the question about the meaning of our lives, about knowing the Creator, about attaining Godliness. All this is revealed on our degree.

The Laws Of Nature Are A Stubborn Thing

Question: It is written in “Purpose of Society (1)” by Rabash: “We have gathered here to establish a society for all who wish to study and follow the laws of nature.” What are these laws of nature?

Answer: “God” (אלה-ים), is “nature” (הטבע) according to Gematria. Studying and carrying out the Creator’s will is the same as studying and carrying out the laws of nature.

The world is in a crisis that has no solution, and we have to know what is happening. Why are we not able to get along with nature? Why do we bring new disasters upon ourselves every single day? Animals and vegetation are disappearing; there is deforestation; people are dying from contamination…. Briefly speaking, we are destroying nature. And you see yourself how it responds to this.

And finally, what is happening to my wallet? Even if I have several million in the bank, I do not know what to do with them. Today no one can tell me where to invest it to make sure it is safe.

So, tomorrow is in the dark. I do not know what I am preparing for my children and grandchildren, I do not know whether we will have anything to eat and how we can provide for ourselves. We all want certainty and fulfillment, and no one promises me fulfillment tomorrow. On the contrary, everyone says that there will be a collapse.

Why? Today it is clear that no one knows the reasons why. We have decent comprehension of the crisis situation and we have discovered that there is not a single sage in the world who could explain to us what is actually happening.

In this case, it is necessary to turn to nature and learn from it—if it is possible, of course. And so I am told that there is a science, opportunities that will give me the necessary knowledge to provide for a better future for myself. And then I begin to study; maybe things are not that complicated after all? It’s the same way a businessman turns to a consulting firm that can give him the right advice, for example, to buy gold or quickly sell his factory.

This also refers to simple things: I want to be healthy, have a place to live, provide for my family, give a good education to my children, and be safe and well off in general. This is a normal and rational level of one’s demands. But today it is unattainable because of a total multi-crisis.

So how can we come out of it? We need to study the laws of nature in which we exist. After all, we do not know enough about it and man. Possibly, human beings have qualities and faculties that can help us to make it less bad, destructive, and harmful. And this will make the world better.

Indeed, it I clear that only man is the source of all the misfortunes. Everyone agrees with it, but it is followed by a sacramental question: “But what can we do?..” So, there is a science that explains how to correct man. Do it and everything will work out.

Otherwise, we are following the path of the dinosaurs. Species are disappearing fast, and we might end up “back at the bottom of the ladder” already in the coming years. And we are not even told everything to avoid panic in the society. And really, why should people know all the truth if it will make them lose their minds from the impending threat? We often are sincerely willing to close our eyes to an impending disaster, if we do not know the ways to prevent it. It is written regarding this: “We will eat and drink since we will die tomorrow.”

And this is why it is necessary to disseminate the message about the method of correction and make it clear, pleasant, and accessible to everyone. If we become acquainted with the laws that operate in nature and in man, if we understand the way they interact, the key to good changes will be in our hands. And if not, the crisis will continue to spread. We will not be able to end it; on the contrary, things will only get worse.

Intention Catchers

We have gathered here to catch our intention and not let go of it, even for a second. It is what’s called man, the head, the clarification; the rest is not important. If we immerse ourselves into this analysis deeper and deeper, we will suddenly feel that we exist in the common space. One is better, another is worse, but it doesn’t matter. Most importantly, we are all in one collective field and we clarify our intention together.

Each person may be in their own state, but when all analyze their intention, the inner prayer arises about how to clarify it better and in a more intelligible way: Whether my intention is egoistic or bestowing in where I looked, what I said, what I smelled, how I sat, or what I did—absolutely everything, on all levels. It can come to a point when we will begin to feel how the blood runs through our veins, how the nervous and other systems work inside our bodies.

A person will see the entire creation inside out, as transparent, and will realize that everything is working for the sake of egoistic reception. While he, seeing this, wants to clarify what “for the sake of bestowal” could mean.

As a result of the efforts to clarify the intention, we begin to feel the group. And then each individual effort adds up to the rest—in clarification of the intention and yearning to achieve the quality of bestowal. The intention to bestow cannot be private, individual. It is always connected with others’ identical intentions.

Hence, in this intention to bestow, in aspiration toward it, I suddenly begin to feel that I am not alone. Next to me are enormous forces that I suddenly notice, great sources of bestowal: the souls of Kabbalists of all generations. I feel like a little child who wants to join them: to grab their hand so they could lead me, just like a grown up takes a child by the hand, directs, and teaches him.

It is said: “A person’s soul will teach him.” My yearning for intention to bestow puts me into the collective circle. Then we achieve the connection, and any thought about my intention, which could be wrong, as well as my search for the right intention to bestow, everything together is included in our common prayer. And this prayer will be awarded an answer.

If we succeed to unite within this intention to bestow at least a little, we will understand the need for mutual guarantee when every one influences and helps each other. Each of us adds to the rest their own desire for bestowal. Then this prayer will reach the upper root, and this root will reveal to us the possibility to live in the intention to bestow.

Only then will we realize that this entire reality is, in fact, egoistic. Nothing changes between this and the upper reality, everything stays as it was: the still, vegetative, animate, and human levels of nature. We only begin to see them from an altruistic perspective, through the prism of bestowal. Then we will indeed be looking through this reality, even through our own body, and we will see a reverse world operated by the opposite intention. We will see the infinite, perfect world, in addition to the one we see today.

When Will A Monkey Become A Human?

Question: The recognition of the shattering, of the total oppositeness of our attributes, is simply a disaster after which we don’t see how we can advance. What can we do about it?

Answer: If a person discovers such a shattering, he already begins his correction because then he understands that his advancement is only possible in “faith above reason.” It’s like wanting to ascend to the human level while being on a beastly level. It’s like trying to make a human being out of a cow, a cat, or even a monkey. You understand that it is impossible. Something is needed here that can never happen.

Now you are discovering that you will never be able to be human! After all, your state is such that the Creator will always outplay you because you are a beast, an angel.

You will be able to ascend and to become human only if the upper Light comes and performs a miracle on you. This is why it is called “the miracle of the exodus from Egypt,” “the miracle of the crossing the Red Sea.” It all happens miraculously, that is, it has nothing to do with the level and the state you are in. A force form an upper level comes to you and performs this miracle.

Scientists don’t know how the vegetative level evolved from the still matter. Try to bring a stone to life, let’s see what happens. How does the animate level evolve from the vegetative? Something like that is simply impossible in nature with its accurately separated levels: One is the vegetative level, and the other is animate. Between the vegetative and the animate levels there is some intermediate form called the “dog of the field,” and between the inanimate and the vegetative there are the corals. Between the animate and man there is the monkey that doesn’t belong to either level.

We don’t understand what the monkey form symbolizes in spirituality. To be a monkey means to perform actions by which you are trying to resemble a human. Then the upper Light influences you and transforms you from the level of the animate to that of the speaking.

The term “monkey” indicates that my desire is to resemble a human, Adam, meaning to resemble the Creator.
