Dreams In Kabbalah

Question: Does a dream have any place in Kabbalah? What kind of research is a prophetic dream?

Answer: There are no prophetic dreams in Kabbalah.

A dream in the material world is just a normal animalistic state of our body, reliving everything it went through during the day, and nothing else.

A dream in Kabbalah is an ascent of a Kabbalist to the next level of awareness, when it is not yet fully formed in him, and therefore is called a dream.
